Safecracker
Complete every Trespasser puzzle without using Autohack
There are 16 Trespasser Puzzles in Ratchet & Clank (2016 PS4 Remake). Locating and solving them unlocks the Safecracker trophy.
THIS TROPHY IS MISSABLE!!!
You may never use Autohack (don’t press square-button)! Using autohack will void the trophy and you would have to start a new playthrough to get it.
It’s also important to note that the puzzle solutions change depending on the difficulty you’re playing on. I did all of them on easy (because there are no difficulty related trophies you can do everything on easy difficulty).
First you must obtain the Trespasser Gadget. You get it in the sewers of Rilgar (see start of the video where you hack the first door). This tool is required to progress in the main story, you can’t miss it.
With it you can hack certain doors. This triggers a mini-game in which you must point lasers at some ports. Completing the puzzle unlocks the door. A lot of these doors are story-related and will come naturally. But some of them are totally optional and reward you with awesome loot (card packs, gold bolts).
There is no way to check your progress for this trophy. But you can still fast travel to every location after beating the story. So you could go back and check if the doors are already unlocked or not.
Ultimate Explorer
Collect every gold bolt.
There are 28 Gold Bolts in Ratchet & Clank (2016 PS4 Remake). Finding all locations unlocks the Ultimate Explorer trophy, several appearance options, cheats (invincibility + infinite ammo) and lets you access the Insomniac museum.
Some of these collectibles can only be reached with certain gadgets. Because of this it would make sense to beat the game first, do all optional objectives and pick up every gadget. Then travel back to each planet and pick up the gold bolts.
There is also a gadget called “Map-O-Matic” that reveals all gold bolt locations on the map. But even with their location revealed some can still be tricky to reach.
Nothing is missable. You can return to each planet later via your spaceship. There is also a tracker in planet select. It shows you how many bolts you have found on each planet. Furthermore, you can check your total progress at any time by pausing the game.
Full Gun Rack
Acquire every weapon in the game
+ Techhead
Acquire every gadget
There are 9 RYNO Holocards in Ratchet & Clank (2016 PS4 Remake). Finding all their locations is needed for the “Tech Head” & “Full Gun Rack” Trophies (unlock all weapons and gadgets). All the other weapons can be bought from the vendor for bolts and some are automatic story unlocks. For the gadgets complete all optional objectives (marked on map) and the rest also comes automatically from story progression. The RYNO is the only “hidden” weapon / gadget. It is the best weapon in the game and worth the work!
Most of the cards are in card packs (collectibles in the game world). Two of them are rewards for winning the hoverboard gold cup on Rilgar and Kalebo. A few of them are locked behind doors that you must hack with the Trespasser tool.
You can still get all of them after beating the story. None are missable. When you go to the card collection in the pause menu you will see which ones you have already found.
I Hate Lamp
Break every lamp in Aleero City
Aleero City is the starting area of the planet called “Kerwan” (the third planet). There are a total of 17 blue street lamps you must destroy for this trophy. Only the ones BEFORE jumping on the train are needed. They are quite easy to spot. Destroy them any way you like.
Kerwan Gladiator
Complete the Fitness Course on Kerwan in under 70 seconds
This can be done on the planet “Kerwan”. It’s the third planet and you get here very early in the game. Completing the fitness course is part of the main story and unmissable. But completing it in under 70 seconds may require a few tries. You can try it as often as you like. At the end of the course there is a taxi that will bring you back to the start.
The moving platforms are the only tricky part. If you fall down there is no way you will beat the time limit. Keep in mind that using the Helipack is faster than running. The timer starts when you hear the horn (after jumping up the first platform).
That Sinking Feeling
Knock a constructobot into the quicksand on Aridia.
This can be done on the planet called Aridia. From where you start take the path on the right and you will encounter some big robots with flamethrowers. Attack them with your OmniaWrench to catapult them into the quicksand. This will instantly kill them and unlock the trophy.
The one I show in this video always respawns when returning to Aridia.
Faster Than a Speeding Amoeboid
Complete the hoverboard Gold Cup on Rilgar in under 1:35
You can do this on the planet called Rilgar. After fighting your way past some enemies you will come to the hoverboard races. First you must complete the bronze and silver cup. Then complete the gold cup in under 1 minute and 35 seconds. A timer is shown at the top of the screen.
You will have to be extremely quick for this. There are a lot of explosive crates on the road. If you ever mess up (drive into an explosive box or fall off the map) you basically have no chance of beating it in time. Always jump through the blue rings and perform as many stunts as possible while in the air to fill up your boost. Use the boost whenever you start to slow down. You have to be boosting the entire time! Using blue ramps automatically gives you a boost, so never miss out on them. Driving through wooden boxes also fills up your boost.
Always stay on the right side of the road. There are more ramps on the right and they all give you boosts and let you perform stunts in the air.
Clank Crusher
Crush 5 gadgebots in the crusher on Quartu.
You can do this on the planet “Quartu”. While playing as Clank you will come to a room with 5 power reactors connected to a crusher. Use an electric gadgebot to turn on the first reactor. Then throw another gadgebot under the crusher. Now take away the electric bot from the reactor and the crusher will come falling down to destroy the second bot. Repeat this process 5 times and the trophy will unlock.
The gadgebots always respawn nearby. You can do all 5 in a row.
Warbots Into Ploughshares
Destroy 10 inactive Warbots inside the Quartu factory.
This can be done in the interior of Quartu. There are several assembly lines where Warbots are being produced. Destroy 10 of them. Explosive weapons are best (Rocket Launcher / Grenades). They get produced infinitely, so you can just stand by one assembly line and wait for them to come out.
Pool Sharks Are The Worst
Get eaten by a Pool Shark in the Pokitaru Ocean.
A very easy and quick trophy. On the planet “Pokitaru” swim out in the water far from the shore. There are some big green fish where the water gets deeper. Swim near them and they will instant-kill you for the trophy. You can do this anywhere on the map at any time.
When Sheep Fly
Sheepinate a Blarg Helicopter Commander
THIS TROPHY IS MISSABLE!!!
The helicopters don’t respawn. Once you kill them they will be gone and you have to start a new playthrough to get the trophy.
You can do this on the planet “Kalebo III” (the last planet you unlock). Upon entering the planet the Sheepinator weapon becomes available for purchase. It costs 40,000 bolts. So make sure you save up on bolts before going here or farm enemies/crates on another planet until you have enough bolts.
On your way to the Kalebo races two helicopters and a huge dropship will spawn. Shoot down one of the helicopters with the sheepinator weapon. Obviously you must have bought the weapon before this point. Only progress on this planet after buying the Sheepinator.
If you miss this opporunity you will have to go into challenge mode to start another playthrough. The first helicopter spawns in Kerwan (the third planet, fairly early in the game). Challenge mode lets you keep your weapons so Kerwan is the earliest place to get it in a new playthrough.
Kalebo Thunder
Complete the hoverboard Gold Cup on Kalebo in under 2:05
Kalebo is the last planet you unlock. Beating the time requirement in this race is much easier than the Rilgar race. Just use the two shortcuts and you are guaranteed to do it in under two minutes. Just don’t fall off the map and try not to drive into explosive crates.
You can finish this in about 1 minute and 40 seconds so there is room for error. To unlock the shortcuts you must drive through the 3 yellow rings. Use your boost whenever possible. But remember to keep one boost for the jump on the second shortcut, it will save you a lot of time.
Lazy Lombax
Ride every catwalk without moving in Kalebo.
Kalebo is the last planet you unlock. There are 4 “catwalks” here. 1 on the way to the Kalebo hoverboard races and 3 at the very start of the area where you land your spaceship. They are more like conveyor belts than catwalks. You can stand on them and they will very slowly transport you to the other side. Carefully take 1 step to get onto them and then stand still until you reach the other side.
Character Assassination
Destroy all of the planet models in Drek’s office.
This can be done on the map “Deplanetizer”. In the south of the map there is an office with a blue holographic planet floating in the air and several planet models around the room. Destroy the 5 planet models in this office room and the trophy will unlock. They are easy to destroy with grenades / rockets.
Et tu, Copernicus?
TFind Qwark’s Lounge on the Deplanitiser.
This is probably the best hidden thing in the game. After completing the story / killing the endboss head back to the middle of the Deplanetizer map. There are a few locked doors around here. Transform into Qwark (use Hologuise gadget) and stand still in front of the doors for a few seconds. Then you will hear Qwark say something and the trophy unlocks.
Death by Disco
Use the Groovitron on every type of enemy
For this you must make all 48 enemies dance with the Groovitron disco ball.
THIS TROPHY IS HIGHLY MISSABLE!
Most enemies don’t respawn and there’s only one single specimen of some of them in the entire game (such as bosses). Throw the Groovitron at EVERY enemy group you encounter. If you die use the Groovitron again to be safe. There are multiple versions of some enemies (for example 4 different Warbots that have only visual differences).
There is no way to get this trophy on the first playthrough because you get the Groovitron too late in the game. You will have to go into Challenge Mode (essentially New Game+) and use the Groovitron from the start. You keep your weapons when starting challenge mode.
You may also enable cheats. Cheats are unlocked by finding all the Gold Bolts and can be turned on in the Extras menu. I enabled all of them and got the trophy anyway.
The game doesn’t tell you which enemies you have found. So you need to be very careful not to miss anything. If you don’t get the trophy you must do another challenge mode run and do it all again.

My PS4 game does not show me a planet called Rilgar. I have Veldin, Novalis, Kerwan, Aridia, and Nebula G34. Please help as I am unsure where to go next to find this planet. I have completed all steps except to get Skidd Mcmarks to his ship.
Plew says
You need to get Skidd Mcmarks ship so he can fly off and unlock Rilgar.

Hey There one question…
I want the platinum trophy of course, but one final trophy is pretty hard. Master all the weapons… 1 last weapon won’t be increase to max level… actually mr. Zurkon…all the others are max level but mr zurkon is after the 7th full game with only using him not at end of level….
How can that be? Need help
Plew says
Have you completed its holocard set to unlock its Omega variant? If you havent then it will remain stuck at lv 5. Complete the set, purchase the Omega version of Mr. Zurkon then grind it like other weapons to lv 10.
Alex says
Is the Super Trader trophy not listed? Or am i missing it?
Mkoshar says
I just started my first Challenge mode walkthrough… And miss the Dropship in front of the Garage in Veldin…. Do I miss the trophy or there is the same ship in the upcoming planets…. Since there are versions of enemies I am afraid it is the only version…
