Master Cataloger
Found all Logs.
There are a total of 55 logs in Lost Planet 3. Finding all of them will earn you the “Master Cataloger” trophy / achievement. They are divided in two categories: 21 Text Logs and 34 Audio Logs.
This video shows them in the order of accessibility (story order). You can easily follow it while playing through the main missions. Sometimes you cannot get a collectible right away and have to return to the same area later on. You will get access to more and more areas throughout the story and will unlock new tools and abilities that are necessary to collect everything. Some logs don’t spawn at all until you have reached a certain point in the story. So make sure to collect everything in correct order.
By pressing select (PS3) / back-button (X360) you can see how many collectibles of each type you have found.
Gone, But Not Forgotten
Found all Mementos.
There are a total of 4 Mementos in Lost Planet 3. Finding all of them will earn you the “Gone, But Not Forgotten” trophy or achievement. In order to reach them you have to make progress in the main story until you obtain the magnetic hook. It will be given to you automatically after finishing the main missions for the Camp of the Forgotten.
After finding all Mementos you need to bring them back to Solchol. In addition to the trophy / achievement you will also get a health upgrade.
Master Planter
Planted every Post.
There are a total of 6 T-Posts in Lost Planet 3. Finding all Posts will earn you the Master Planter trophy / achievement. You will have to plant the first post in Hanneman’s Basin automatically during a main mission. It cannot be missed. After that you need to wait until later in the game (before going past the point of no return) to reach all the other posts. Most of them cannot be reached right away when you enter an area for the first time. So wait until the end of the game before searching them. You will also have the option to fast travel then. Upgrades like the magnetic hook are necessary, but will also be obtained automatically during the storyline.
Lost and Found
Discovered the Lost Contractor’s Fate.
Location: Shackleton’s Peak
You have to get the magnetic hook before you can get this trophy / achievement! You will automatically get it after finishing the main missions for the Camp of the Forgotten (the northern area on the world map). Once you get the magnetic hook you must go back to Shackleton’s Peak. Activate the console at the bottom of the mountain to call the gondola. Use the gondola to get to the summit immediately. You will have to do some backtracking now. Go through the door and down the mountain where you previously came from when you climbed the mountain for the first time. Go until you find a point to use your magnetic hook. It’s just a minute walk away from the summit (on the left side of the path). Use your hook and keep going until you reach a hidden cave. In that cave is the Lost Contractor. Pick up his audio log to unlock the trophy / achievement.
First Tag
Tagged an Albino Tarkaa.
Location: Camp of the Forgotten & The Killing Fields
To make Albino Tarkaa monsters spawn, you need to go to the upgrade shop in the western corner of the Camp of the Forgotten. A conversation with the vendor will automatically start and he will give you a quest to locate the rare Albino Tarkaas for him. You will be given an upgrade that makes you hear their noise. Now go out of the camp and to the Killing Fields. There’s an Albino Tarkaa in the mountain cave to your right. You need to use the claw of your Rig and your magnetic hook to reach it. This monster is small and white-colored. It’s on one of the walls. Scan (tag) it with your pistol to unlock this trophy / achievement.
