Antiquing

Before you can reach all of the Relics you have to find all 40 pages of the Book of the Dead. Otherwise, you won’t be able to collect the Khagoth Relic inside Death Tomb IV. Once you have all Relics return to Ostegoth for an awesome armor piece and the trophy / achievement.
All You Can Eat Buffet
Complete Sticks and Stones
There are a total of 69 Stonebites in Darksiders II (34 Stones of Mystics, 25 Stones of Power, 10 Stones of Resistance). They are needed to finish a Side Quest called “Sticks and Stones”. This Side Quest is given to you by a merchant called Blackroot who is located in the Fjord area in the western part of the Forge Lands.
Before you can reach all of the Relics you have to find all 40 pages of the Book of the Dead. Otherwise, you won’t be able to collect two of the Power Stones inside Death Tomb IV. Once you have all Stonebites return to Blackroot for an awesome weapon and the “All You Can Eat Buffet” trophy / achievement.
Gnomad
Complete GnoMAD
Gnomad is a side quest that requires you to collect 4 very well hidden gnome statues. You can only complete this quest after reaching the final dungeon of the game. Each area can be revisited at any time, so don’t worry if you missed a collectible. Neither is there a quest giver, nor do you need to activate this quest manually to make the gnomes appear. Just collect the gnomes whenever you want and return to a serpent shrine to collect your reward.
Trapped Hellguards
There are a total of 10 Trapped Hellguard (Fallen Angel) locations. You need to free all of them to complete the Side Quest called Light of the Fallen. Thereby it’s also needed for the Secondary Adventure trophy / achievement.
The side quest will automatically start upon entering the earth realm. To free the hellguards you have to shoot their cages. All of them are scattered across the earth realm. Once all of them are free return to where you started and talk to Uriel again. Select the blue conversation option that says “Your Angels suffer no longer.” and you will get the legendary Sunder weapon in return.
Wandering Stones
There are a total of 4 Wandering Stone Parts (Oran’s missing limbs). You need to find all of them to complete the Side Quest called Wandering Stone. Thereby it’s also needed for the Secondary Adventure trophy / achievement.
After clearing the Drenchfort Dungeon (cannot be missed) you will get the Maker’s Key. Once you have the key this side quest can be started by talking to Oran – a sleeping Stone Giant, located in the Fjord area of the Forge Lands. All of Oran’s limbs are scattered across the Forge Lands. Once you have found and interacted with the 4 stone limbs return to Oran for a handsome XP reward.
The Triple Lindy
Complete 3 different high dives in the Foundry
You will come to the Foundry during a story mission called “Heart of the Mountain”. As you progress through the dungeon you will automatically reach the shown area – it cannot be missed. Climb up the wall next to the lake. On top you will find 3 platforms. Jump down each platform once.
Crow Carrion
Defeat the Crowfather
This is the first story related boss fight in the game and it cannot be missed.
The Crowfather will transform into War (the main protagonist from Darksiders 1). He will use relatively weak short range sword attacks against you. Evade all attacks until he slows down, then power up a heavy strike with your second weapon (Hold Triangle on PS3 / Y on X360). Towards the end you should use a bunch of strike combos to evade faster. Once the Crowfather’s health bar is depleted you have to finish him off by pressing Circle (PS3) / B (X360).
Dust to Dust
Defeat the Guardian
This is the second story related boss fight in the game and it cannot be missed.
The Guardian is a giant stone enemy that uses slow, but very devastating attacks. The fight consists of three phases. During the first two you will have to shoot the yellow glowing explosives on the right arm of the Guardian. Stay as far away from him as possible and ride your horse all over the time. After he uses his giant hammer attack dash forward to his right arm and shoot the explosives with the Redemption pistol. If done successfully, the Guardian will lose a body part. Use the Deathgrip to climb up the body part and attack it. Repeat those same actions during the second phase.
In the third phase the Guardian will shoot spiky balls with a cannon. Stay on your horse and shoot the ball. If done successfully, the ball will start floating. Now move to the opposite side of the area and line up the floating ball with the legs of the Guardian. After a few seconds the ball will fly towards the Guardian and knock him down. Climb up his left leg and use the Deathgrip again. Repeat this once more and the fight will be over.
The Court of Bones
Defeat Basileus
This is the third story related boss fight in the game and it cannot be missed.
Basileus is a Ghost enemy that uses a range of very fast and powerful attacks. Always evade if he starts floating or renders invisible. That’s when he prepares for a heavy attack. The best tactic for this fight is to summon Ghouls. Fully upgrade all skills that improve your Ghouls. You can reset your skill points for a small fee of 1000 Gold by buying the Respec token from Vulgrim (the demon merchant, he is marked on the map as “General Items” and can be found at the Weeping Crag, north-east of the Forge).
While the Ghouls fight Basileus you can use your pistol to boost new wrath points. While fighting the Spider use your secondary weapon for some heavy hits.
Soul Crushing
Defeat The Wailing Host
This is the fourth story related boss fight in the game and it cannot be missed.
The Wailing Host is the endboss of the “City of the Dead” dungeon. The fight consists of 3 phases. In the beginning the Wailing Host is alone and will attack you with some slow fist attacks. Simply attack his face or hands. In the next phase the Wailing Host will disappear and you have to fight some small skeleton enemies. After they are all dead the Host will come back, but he will keep summoning skeleton minions until the fight is over. Repeat what you previously did and press Circle (PS3) / B (X360) when the button is displayed over his head.
Clipped Wings
Defeat Archon
This is the fifth story related boss fight and it cannot be missed.
Archon is the endboss of the “Stains of Heresy” main quest.
Use your pistol whenever you can. It doesn’t do much damage, but it will restore a lot of wrath that can be used to summon new Ghouls.
Once Archon starts floating you have to change your strategy. A fast way to bring him down is the crow attack (Murder skill from the Necromancer skill tree). Summon your crows when Archon’s shield is deactivated and shoot him with your pistol when he smashes down to the ground. After ripping off his wings you can keep summoning your Ghouls. Just stay away from him, dodge his attacks and let the Ghouls do the rest. Keep using your pistol for new wrath points or use wrath potions to speed up the process.
It’s Not Over
Defeat Samael
This is the sixth story related boss fight and it cannot be missed.
Samael is the endboss of the “Lord of the Black Stone” main quest.
Use your pistol whenever you can. It doesn’t do much damage, but it will restore a lot of wrath that can be used to summon new Ghouls. While your Ghouls fight Samael you can attack from behind.
The only dangerous part on Apocalyptic difficulty is the end when lava fountains come out of the ground. It’s hard not to get hit here and the fountains cause quite some damage. Be ready to use a health potion if you get hit or go into Reaper mode for reduced health loss.
The Big Boss
Defeat Absalom
This is the seventh story related boss fight and it cannot be missed.
Absalom is the endboss of the “Well of Souls” main quest.
Use your pistol whenever you can. It doesn’t do much damage, but it will restore a lot of wrath that can be used to summon new Ghouls. While your Ghouls fight Absalom you can attack from behind. Especially after he performs a jump you should go for a couple heavy strikes and summon new Ghouls or Crows.
Use all your wrath potions during the last phase of the fight to launch your most devastating attacks.
