Ultimate Estus
Reinforce the Estus Flask to the highest level.
There are 11 Estus Flask Upgrade Shards in Dark Souls 3. Finding all of their locations is needed for the Ultimate Estus Trophy / Achievement. By giving them to the blacksmith in Firelink Shrine you can increase the number of Flasks you can carry. You start out with 3 estus + 1 ashen flask. Combined with the 11 estus shards this brings you to a total of 15 flasks.
Since these are your health/mana potions it is highly advantageous to get them as soon as possible. It will let you survive longer and thus makes things easier for you.
None of them are missable! You can still get them after beating the final boss. This video guide shows them in the order in which they can be obtained (early game areas first, endgame areas last). In your inventory you can see how many you have. At the blacksmith you can turn ashen flasks into estus flasks and vice versa.
Remember that you must also pick up the 10 Undead Bone Shards to increase the amount of HP/FP restored with each flask use. Aside from that the Undead Bone Shards will also earn you the Ultimate Bonfire trophy / achievement.
Ultimate Bonfire
Reinforce a bonfire to the highest level.
There are 10 Undead Bone Shards in Dark Souls 3. Finding all of them is needed to upgrade your Estus Flask and for the Ultimate Bonfire Trophy / Achievement (reinforce a bonfire to the highest level).
After finding a Bone Shard you can burn it in the bonfire of Firelink Shrine (the hub area where you level up). This will increase the bonfire’s intensity and improve your Estus Flask so that it heals more HP with each use. The trophy unlocks after burning all 10 shards.
You should get all of these upgrades as soon as possible! They help immensely in beating the game and make things easier for you. This guide shows the order in which you can obtain them. The ones from early areas are shown first, the ones from endgame areas last. None of them are missable! You can still get them after beating the final boss. They also respawn in New Game+. To see how many you have found check the number below your Estus Flask or take a look at the bonfire intensity in Firelink Shrine.
Iudex Gundyr
Defeat Iudex Gundyr.
My character level for this fight: 9 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword (starting weapon)
Iudex Gundyr is the first boss in the game. He is part of the tutorial section and quite easy to defeat. To start the fight you must pull a spike out of his chest. Attack him immediately to take away a good chunk of health before he gets up. About halfway through the fight he will transform and get more aggressive. He is defenseless while transforming.
His attacks can be parried with a shield. Or simply dodge and try to get behind him. If you play a sorcerer or pyromancer keep your distance. You can also use your 3 estus flasks to refill health.
There is a trophy / achievement for each boss.
Vordt of the Boreal Valley
Defeat Vordt of the Boreal Valley.
My character level for this fight: 16 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
Vordt of the Boreal Valley is the second boss in the game. He is very big and has powerful physical attacks, which is why you should roll away from him rather than using a shield (will break defense in 1 hit). Always try to get behind him or roll under him (works best when you lock on and roll around his left side). Then you can get a few hits in before he jumps away. Halfway through the fight he will get more aggressive and his eyes start to glow. This is when he will dash at you 2-4 times. Make sure you evade those attacks. The same tactic applies all through the fight. Evade, attack and repeat.
Curse-rotted Greatwood
Defeat the Curse-rotted Greatwood.
My character level for this fight: 27 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
Curse-rotted Greatwood is the third boss in the game (looks like a tree). To kill him you must attack eggs that grow on certain parts of the tree. Best strategy is to simply rush in and destroy the eggs as fast as possible. Don’t worry too much about getting hit, it’s not possible to parry or block the attacks anyway. In the first part of the fight some mobs will run around the tree. Kill the ones in your way and attack the eggs at the front of the tree. Then the floor will crumble and the second part starts. Destroy the eggs at the front, back, legs and arms to finish the fight.
You should upgrade your weapons before this fight for extra damage (can be done at the blacksmith using titanite shards).
Crystal Sage
Defeat Crystal Sage.
My character level for this fight: 28 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
Crystal Sage is the fourth boss in the game. He uses magic projectile attacks (easy to evade). Just smash in on him and he will get stunned. While you attack he is basically just sitting there and doesn’t do anything. After a few hits he teleports away. When his health drops really low 3 decoys will appear. They die in 1 hit. Just take them out real quick and then finish off the real boss.
Deacons of the Deep
Defeat the Deacons of the Deep.
My character level for this fight: 36 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
Deacon of the Deep is the fifth boss in the game. He is very weak and rarely attacks, but is surrounded by lots of mobs. Only attack the boss and ignore the other enemies. They will all die when the boss goes down. The boss is glowing red, that’s how you will find him.
Lords of Cinder: Abyss Watchers
Defeat the Abyss Watchers, Lords of Cinder.
My character level for this fight: 42 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
Lords of Cinder: Abyss Watchers is the sixth boss in the game. In the first phase of the fight there are 3 enemies. They will attack each other. Just concentrate on the main boss. If you are a melee character use a shield and walk around the boss in circles. When he misses an attack you can stab him from behind. Always wait for him to miss and then attack. After his health bar is gone he will transform into a stronger version with a fire sword. The same strategy still applies in this phase, but his attacks have better range now. Walk around him (while blocking with the shield), wait for him to miss, then attack a few times.
High Lord Wolnir
Defeat High Lord Wolnir.
My character level for this fight: 44 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
High Lord Wolnir is the seventh boss in the game. You must destroy the 3 yellow glowing rings on his arms. This is pretty easy. Just roll away when he is about to punch you and stay away from the purple fog.
Pontiff Sulyvahn
Defeat Pontiff Sulyvahn.
My character level for this fight: 53 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
Pontiff Sulyvahn is the eighth boss in the game. He uses two swords (a flaming one and a magic one) and summons a phantom of himself. Walk around him in circles and block with your shield. He misses very often which gives you a chance to land a few hits. When he summons the phantom take it out. You don’t want to fight two of them at once. The phantom doesn’t have much health and goes down very quick. Also attack him while he summons. He will be defenseless and your attacks hurt him and the phantom at the same time.
If you have trouble with him upgrade the estus flask and put a few points in vigor (health). He isn’t that hard if you have found most of the flask upgrades up to this point.
Old Demon King
Defeat Old Demon King.
My character level for this fight: 55 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
Old Demon King is the ninth boss in the game. He is an optional boss in a hidden area. From where you fought High Lord Wolnir go back the way you came to the rope bridge. Hit the ropes of the bridge to destroy it, then climb down (from the side where High Lord Wolnir boss fight took place). Down there is a bonfire and a burning area with large trees. The boss is in the back of this area.
The boss uses a big hammer. After one third of his health is gone he will start burning and use AOE fire attacks (meteors, breathing fire, fire circle on ground). Always try to stand under him or get behind him. His attacks are strong but slow. If you stand between his legs he will miss most of the time. When he powers up an AOE attack he is vulnerable for a few seconds. Just bash in on him when he does that. The meteors are his strongest attack. Get a few hits in while he powers up the meteors and then roll away quickly, they deal massive damage. For the other AOE attacks you can bash in on him and take the damage, then heal yourself.
Lord of Cinder: Yhorm the Giant
Defeat Yhorm the Giant, Lord of Cinder.
My character level for this fight: 59 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Storm Ruler Sword (the one found in the boss fight room by Yhorm’s throne)
Lord of Cinder: Yhorm the Giant is the tenth boss in the game. To beat him you should use Yhorm’s Storm Ruler sword. It is found in the boss fight room next to Yhorm’s throne. I pick it up in the video. Hold it with both hands and press L2 (PS4) / LT (XB1) to power up the special storm attack. This is a ranged attack that deals the boss massive damage. Normal weapon attacks barely do any damage. With this special sword attack the fight is easy. Charge up the sword, fire the special at the boss and repeat. He will go down in 5 hits.
Lord of Cinder: Aldritch, Devourer of Gods
Defeat Aldritch, Devourer of Gods, Lord of Cinder.
My character level for this fight: 71 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
Lord of Cinder: Aldritch, Devourer of Gods is the eleventh boss in the game. He uses mostly magic attacks and one physical melee attack. He shoots projectiles (multiple small or one large), arrows and casts a black hole in the ground before teleporting away. Watch out for the arrows. The rest of his attacks don’t do so much damage, but the arrows can insta-kill you. Run away when you see him take out his bow. The rest of the projectiles can be dodged easily.
Always get behind him to attack. Attack his “tail” so you are far enough away when he uses the black hole. When you run towards him put up your shield to block small projectiles.
Dancer of the Boreal Valley
Defeat Dancer of the Boreal Valley.
My character level for this fight: 71 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
Dancer of the Boreal Valley is the twelfth boss in the game. She uses two large swords. Walk around her in circles and attack from behind. Use a great shield if you have one (with a lot of stability, physical and fire defense). Block her attacks then attack with 2 quick attacks and let your stamina recharge. Block, attack, repeat.
When she swings the swords really fast you should run away and hide behind a wall. Also stay clear of her grapple because it deals huge damage.
Oceiros, the Consumed King
Defeat Oceiros, the Consumed King.
My character level for this fight: 75 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
Oceiros, the Consumed King is the thirteenth boss in the game. He uses a big piece of wood to attack (deals physical damage). He also uses other physical attacks and a magic AOE attack. Sometimes he jumps in the air or comes rushing at you which both deal massive damage.
Stay between his legs to attack. But get out of the way when he uses one of his AOE attacks.
Dragonslayer Armour
Defeat Dragonslayer Armour.
My character level for this fight: 77 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
Dragonslayer Armour is the fourteenth boss in the game. You find him in the Lothric Castle area. He has a big shield and axe that deals physical + lightning damage. Every now and then some flying creatures will shoot orbs at you, but those can easily be dodged. Because of his shield you can’t attack from the front. Get behind him by dodging. When you land multiple hits in quick succession he will get stunned for a moment, giving you a perfect opportunity to deal lots of damage. Just learn how to dodge his attacks and get the timing down. Dodging is better here than blocking.
Champion Gundyr
Defeat Champion Gundyr.
My character level for this fight: 77 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
Champion Gundyr is the fifteenth boss in the game. He is a more aggressive version of Iudex Gundyr (the tutorial boss). In the first phase he is pretty weak. When half his health is gone he gets very aggressive and his eyes start to glow red. Blocking is useless now. Dodge his attacks and try to get between his legs, then attack as often as you can. He will probably hit you at some point. Just run away from him to refill health, then try to roll between his legs again to attack.
This boss is found in the Untended Graves secret area.
Check out this guide on how to get there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qKaIxOTG20
Ancient Wyvern
Defeat Ancient Wyvern.
My character level for this fight: 80 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
Ancient Wyvern is the sixteenth boss in the game. You find him in the “Archdragon Peak” secret area.
How to get to Archdragon Peak: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp_oJmqeIfk
This is the easiest boss in the game because he dies in 1 hit. Just drop on him from above and he will die.
Lord of Cinder: Lothric, Younger Prince
Defeat Lothric, Younger Prince, Lord of Cinder.
My character level for this fight: 90 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword
Lothric and Lorian are the final lords of cinder in the game. You find them in the Lothric castle area after killing Dragonslayer Armour.
Lorian is the guy with the burning sword and Lothric is the one who revives him in the second part of the fight.
Lorian is very aggressive. He attacks quickly and deals lots of physical + fire damage. But he doesn’t have any defensive measures. My strategy was to roll behind him and just trade hits with him. I intentionally took some damage to take down his health as quickly as possible. If you have plenty of Estus flasks and an upgraded weapon this is the easiest way to finish the fight. Sometimes he just teleports behind you which makes blocking with a shield rather useless and drains stamina too quickly. And when trying to dodge you will get hit eventually. So just get behind him, stand there and trade hits with him.
In the 2nd part of the fight Lothric is sitting on his back. So make sure you always attack from behind. When Lorian goes down you have a few seconds to concentrate your attacks on Lothric. When Lothric dies Lorian automatically dies, too. Just don’t let him revive too often or you will run out of health. And make sure you dodge all of his ranged magic attacks perfectly as they deal lots of damage.
Since this is one of the hardest bosses in the game you may want to get another online player to help you. Also restore ember before (or during) the fight for extra health. If you can’t beat him solo you are underleveled or don’t have enough Estus flasks. With a ranged build (archer, sorcerer, pyromancer) he is easy to defeat. But for melee characters he is pretty hard.
The Nameless King
Defeat Nameless King.
My character level for this fight: 99 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword + Havel’s Greatshield
Nameless King is an optional boss found in Archdragon Peak after ringing the big bell. He is very hard, one of the toughest bosses. Going into this fight I would recommend a Greatshield. The one I use is for killing an enemy near the boss (follow path to the right of the bell and climb up the ladder, he has a stone armor and the shield). Keep your equipment load below 70% so you can roll quicker and stamina recovers quicker. Health will be a problem in the 2nd part so bring at least 10+ upgraded estus flasks (15 would be better) and be level 100+ with plenty of health. Remember you can do this fight in online co-op if you can’t beat it by yourself.
Phase 1:
In the first phase he is riding a dragon. Once you learn his attack pattern this part isn’t so problematic. Aim for his head for maximum damage. Stay under his head at all times and he will miss all melee attacks. Don’t go near his feet because he will often fly up and breathe fire at the ground. Whenever he is flying up run like hell to get away from the fire. Never block with a shield, always roll away.
Phase 2:
This is the hard part and why you want to bring a greatshield. He is super aggressive, attacks very quickly, has long reach and kills you in 2-3 hits. Lock onto him and block his attacks with your shield, then attack 1 time and repeat. You want to stay as close as possible to him. To the point where your shield touches him at all times (walk into him). When you get further away he throws massive combos and at you and does unblockable throws. He usually does 2-3 strikes or 1 massive strike and then you have a second to hit him one time or refill health. If all goes well you can stun him after a few hits and stab him to deal massive damage. Just be patient. He does lightning + physical damage, so use a shield that blocks those.
My character level for this fight: 100 (Knight)
My weapon for this fight: Sword + Havel’s Greatshield
Soul of Cinder is the final story boss. After beating him you can interact with the last bonfire (same place where you fight him) to trigger the game ending and start New Game Plus.
He uses a variety of attacks and weapons that he is always switching around. My strategy here was to take Havel’s Greatshield (any greatshield will do) and walk close to him in circles while blocking all attacks. After blocking his combo I attacked him 1-2 times and blocked again. After a few hits he will get stunned and you can take down a good chunk of his health. So just keep it slow and block, do 1 hit and repeat. In between his attacks you should release the block button so your stamina recovers quicker. When he uses magic you can get up close to him and just attack.
After his first health bar is gone he gets more aggressive. His available attacks change slightly. He uses longer combos and throws lightning spears at you. When he uses lightning he is vulnerable — that’s when you should attack even if he hits you a few times. Roll away from him when he does the 5 hit sword combo with the big fire explosion. Everything else you can block with the shield. You just have to learn how to balance your stamina for this fight. So that you have enough to block, but also enough to get 1 hit in. Keep your equipment load below 70% to speed up stamina recovery. You should definitely put a few points in stamina before this fight.
Untended Graves
Reach the Untended Graves.
To get access to this secret area you must beat the boss “Oceiros, the Consumed King”. There’s also a bonfire in the boss room which you can use to fast travel. Open the door where the Oceiros boss fight took place and follow the path into the next room. There is a secret wall behind a chest. Hit the wall to make it disappear and you can drop down into the Untended Graves area.
This is relatlively late in the game. Oceiros is boss 13 of 18.
Archdragon Peak
Reach Archdragon Peak.
To access this secret area you must beat the boss “Oceiros, the Consumed King”. He is boss #13 of 18 so it’s fairly late in the game. Open the door in the room where the boss fight took place. It will lead you to the “Old Dragon” gesture that you must pick up. This gesture is very important for the next step!
Travel to the Irithyll Dungeon. Progress through the area until you get to a lookout with a dragon statue (there’s also an elevator nearby). Use the Old Dragon gesture in this spot and a cutscene will trigger. Now you will get to the hidden Archdragon Peak. Just go up the hill a little bit for the trophy / achievement to unlock.
Covenant: Way of Blue
Discover Way of Blue covenant.
This is the first covenant you can join. It is found in the area “High Wall of Lothric”. Go down to the big courtyard of the area where you fight Vordt of the Boreal valley. There is a big church here with a woman sitting on a chair inside. Talk to the woman a few times. First she gives you a banner and then the covenant.
Covenant: Mound-makers
Discover Mound-makers covenant.
This covenant is missable! If you have missed it you can do it in New Game+. Do it as soon as you reach the Undead Settlement, BEFORE beating the Curse-rotted Greatwood boss. Once you have defeated the Greatwood boss it will no longer work!!
From the “Undead Settlement” bonfire go through the dark building and then across the bridge on the right. Follow the narrow path around the hill and climb the rooftops where archers are shooting at you. From here you can drop to an area with a big guy who has a cage on his back. Enter the cage and a cutscene will show (don’t attack him). You will now be brought to the area where you would later fight the Curse-rotted Greatwood boss. Talk to the man near the shrine and he will let you join the covenant.
After you’ve defeated the Greatwood there is still a way to join the convenant. Sometimes there will be a summoning sign on the ground where the boss fight took place (on the upper floor where the ground breaks during the fight). Activating it will teleport you to the area below and you have to defeat a mini boss to join the covenant. But the summoning sign isn’t always there and becomes unavailable for unknown reasons (personally I couldn’t get it to work this way). So my best advice is to do it in New Game+ if you have missed it and go there right after reaching the Undead Settlement.
Covenant: Warrior of Sunlight
Discover Warrior of Sunlight covenant.
This is the third covenant you can join. From the “Undead Settlement” bonfire make your way through the dark building and keep going straight. There are some houses down the hill. In one dark house there’s a hole in the floor. Drop down the hole and pick up the covenant from the table.
Covenant: Blue Sentinels
Discover Blue Sentinels covenant.
This is the fourth covenant you can join. It is very easy to find. After beating the Curse-rotted greatwood boss you will come to the “Road of Sacrifices” area. Here at the bonfire called “Halfway Fortress” you will meet 2 people. Talk to them to join the covenant.
Covenant: Watchdogs of Farron
Discover Watchdogs of Farron covenant.
This covenant is missable! Sometime after killing the Lords of Cinder: Abyss Watchers boss it will become unavailable. Get this covenant right away when entering the swamp area. If you miss it you can get it in New Game+.
The covenant is located in the area “Road of Sacrifices” near the bonfire “Keep Ruins” (poison swamp area). Walk around the ruins until you find a ladder. Go up the ladder and you will see a sleeping wolf. Pray to the wolf and you will join the covenant. If you cannot pray to the wolf it’s because he has been killed by an NPC. After defeating the Abyss Watchers an NPC will come at some point during the game to slay the Wolf (the exact time seems to vary, for me he was dead after the Boreal Valley Dancer).
Covenant: Rosaria’s Fingers
Discover Rosaria’s Fingers covenant.
This is the sixth covenant you can join. It is found in the area “Cathedral of the Deep” near the bonfire “Cleansing Chapel”. After beating the Deacons of the Deep boss there’s an elevator that leads to the rooftop of the cathedral. Take the elevator up to the Cathedral’s rooftop. From here you need to drop down to a small balcony in the Cathedral’s main hall and again from the balcony to an area below. The path leads to a room with a hidden bonfire and a worm-like being named Rosaria. Talk to Rosaria – she will let you join her covenant. An interesting bonus feature is that she lets you reset your skill points and character appearance.
Covenant: Aldritch Faithful
Discover Aldritch Faithful covenant.
This is the seventh covenant you can join. It is found in the area “Irithyll of the Boreal Valley” near the bonfire “Pontiff Sulyvahn”. After defeating the boss Pontiff Sulyvahn go outside and make your way through the courtyard with the dead giants on the floor. Go up the stairs to the tower entrance. There is an illusion wall on the left side of the tower (don’t go up the stairs yet). Hit the wall and a ladder will be revealed that leads down to a flooded area with two large dogs. There is a puppet sitting in the corner. Pray to the puppet and it will let you join the covenant.
Covenant: Blade of the Darkmoon
Discover Blade of the Darkmoon covenant.
This is the eighth and last covenant you can join. By this point in the game you should already be part of all the other covenants. Blade of the Darkmoon is found in the area “Irithyll of the Boreal Valley” near the bonfire “Anor Londo”. From this bonfire go back where you came from – down the stairs of the tower. After going downstairs watch out for a bonfire on a nearby tower. There is an invisible bridge you can walk across. Even if it looks like you’re gonna fall down, don’t worry. Just walk over the edge and you will walk in the air. Drop down to the tower with the hidden bonfire. There is a lady in a white dress here. Talk to her. If you have the bowing gesture from Yuria’s quest line she will let you join the covenant. If not, simply kill her and pick up the covenant item from her dead body.
To Link the First Flame
Reach “To Link the First Flame” ending.
To get this ending you must simply interact with the bonfire after defeating the final boss. This is the standard ending and the easiest one to get.
Make a backup of your save game before doing this. Then you can copy back your old save game and do the other endings in the same playthrough.
The End of Fire
Reach “The End of Fire” ending.
For this ending you must find the hidden eyes in the Untended Graves area. That’s the dark version of the starting area. If you haven’t been there yet here’s a guide on how to get there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qKaIxOTG20
Go to the shrine and hit the illusion wall downstairs to reveal the eyes. Pick them up and travel back to the real firelink shrine. Give the eyes to the fire keeper. Now kill the final boss (Soul of Cinder). After that you can either light the bonfire or summon the fire keeper. For this ending you must summon the fire keeper (don’t interact with the bonfire). She will only be available when you have given the eyes to her.
Remember to back up your save game after the last boss so you can get multiple endings in one playthrough.
The Usurpation of Fire
Reach “The Usurpation of Fire” ending.
This ending is highly missable and by far the most complicated one to get. You must complete a rather long quest line for it.
Most importantly: NEVER EVER CURE YOUR HOLLOWING WHILE GOING FOR THIS ENDING!!! This means don’t heal your dark sigil, don’t give a firekeeper soul to the firekeeper and don’t use purging stones. Hollowing is what makes your character look like a zombie. You are allowed to restore ember.
Do all of these steps as soon as possible. Don’t do anything unncessary in between and don’t progress the story any further than you have to or you will mess things up. If anything goes wrong you can speedrun the story within 2-3 hours in New Game+.
Step 1: Recruit Yoel on the bridge of “Foot of the High Wall” bonfire
Step 2: Talk to Yoel in Firelink shrine and let him give you a free level up
Step 3: Kill yourself 8 times in a row (jump off cliff)
Step 4: Level up 4 more times at Yoel (every 2 deaths = 1 level up)
Step 5: Now Yoel dies and is replaced by Yuria in firelink shrine. Talk to Yuria (fast travel back and forth so she spawns)
Step 6: Talk to Anri (a Knight) at the Halfway Fortress bonfire (Road of Sacrifices area)
Step 7: Kill Deacons of the Deep Boss (Cathedral of the Deep area)
Step 8: Talk to Anri in Firelink Shrine after defeating Deacons of the Deep
Step 9: Talk to Anri near Catacombs of Carthus entrance after killing Lord of Cinder: Abyss Watchers boss.
Step 10: Talk to Anri further down in the Catacombs (by the hanging bridge before Wolnir boss)
Step 11: Kill Horace down in the area where you fight Old Demon King boss (destroy hanging bridge to climb down there)
Step 12: Return to Anri and talk to her
Step 13: Talk to Anri at the Church of Yorshka Bonfire (Irithyll of the Boreal Valley area)
Step 14: Kill Pontiff Sulyvahn boss (Irithyll of the Boreal Valley area)
Step 15: Talk to Yuria in Firelink Shrine
Step 16: Marry Anri in the room below Anor Londo bonfire (Irithyll of the Boreal Valley area)
Step 17: Talk to Yuria one last time in Firelink Shrine
Step 18: Continue through the game and kill the final boss (Soul of Cinder). After the endboss interact with the bonfire in front of you to trigger the Usurpation of Fire secret ending. Congratulations you have done it!
AbadeonGaming says
Hello Pyx,
I just wanted to inform you of a still working glitch to make DS3 a bit easier for those who are struggling.
Why should you do this?
you can duplicate everything, consummables, weapons, armor, rings, arrows, …
Prerequisites:
You have to do this with a friend ( sorry solo it’s not possible).
Be sure to some consumables to duplicate ( works with EVERYTHING except estus shards, covenant items, bone dust, boss souls, spells and unique items like the white soapstone, red soapstone etc).
BACK-UP your data before you start!
How to do it :
0. set a password with your friend as to be sure not to be disturbed during the duplication and select a zone where to meet ( the foot of the High wall works really well ).
1. choose “the victime” he is the one who will deposite the stuff to be duplicated [WARNING : only deposit 3x5items at a time otherwise they will dissapear].
2. the “invader” puts down his sign ( either white or red) . I personnaly suggest red so that you can farm for a covenant at the same time.
3. the Victime summons the invader and once he’s in, deposit the stuff.
4. once you have given all you need, the Invader kills the victime so that he gets a bonus of souls and his covenant item.
5. the invader returns to his world and waits for his friend to do the rest of his part of the job.
6. the victime QUITS the game using the PS button and restores his savedata and launches the game again.
7. this can go on for a long time, and you can level up really fast if you have the right souls.
This can be done both ways BUT don’t forget that the person giving his stuff, MUST BACKUP HIS GAME BEFORE.
I hope this helps you a bit in your struggle for the platinum.
