Curator
Discover all of the collectibles in the Campaign.
There are 56 Collectibles in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Finding all their locations unlocks the “Curator” trophy or achievement.
You also get the “Walking Encyclopedia” trophy for finding all collectible locations in one mission. There are 11 missions.
Each collectible looks different and they come in many forms and shapes (e.g. intel, helmets, weapons, flowers, necklaces, robot parts etc). They usually get marked by a white icon when you are getting really close. There’s a collectible tracker in mission select. It shows how many collectibles you have found in each mission. Additionally, you can pause the game anytime and see a little collectible tracker in the bottom right. The pause menu shows them in the order in which they can be picked up, making it very easy to find what’s missing.
You can replay missions at any time to find the missing items.
Text descriptions of all intel locations:
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Collectible Locations Text Guide
Decimator
In Campaign, kill 10 enemies in under 3 seconds.
Mission 1: Black Ops
At the end of this mission you will be driving a truck and can use its turret against enemies. At one point your truck will stop and many robots come to fight you and try to climb the truck. They die in 1 shot from the turret. Quickly shoot the large group of robots and you should get the trophy / achievement. If it doesn’t unlock you can back out to the main menu and then resume from the last checkpoint.
Sting like a Talon
In Campaign, kill 20 enemies while flying the same Talon.
+ Foe To Friend
Use an enemy combat robot to kill 10 enemies.
Chapter 2: New World
A few minutes after the second mission starts your teammate will tell you to take control of a drone. You can pick from little robots and flying drones. The flying drone is the talon, so pick that one. Kill the enemies in the next room and you should easily get both trophies / achievements.
Throwing Flak
Kill 3 Talons with a single mid-air grenade detonation.
Chapter 2: New World
The earliest opportunity to get this trophy / achievement is in chapter 2 when you have to chase down the suspect. You must cook a frag grenade and throw it at the talons just a moment before it explodes. Talons almost always fly in swarms of 3 or more. It also counts when you throw the grenade on the ground and the talons are flying over it. The trophy description is a bit misleading, the grenade doesn’t have to explode mid-air.
In Their Sleep
In Campaign, kill 5 stunned enemies in under 3 seconds.
Mission 3: In Darkness
The first group of enemies in mission 3 is perfect for this. Set the game to recruit difficulty and make sure you have some flashbangs in your loadout. Now wait until 5+ enemies are close together (there are more than enough enemies in this section) and throw the flashbang at them. Kill them as quickly as you can. Use a machine gun or semi-automatic shotgun from up close. This only works on human enemies, not robots.
Hold Still!
Kill 6 enemies affected by one Blinding Swarm or Firefly Swarm.
First you must buy the Blidning Swarm cyber core upgrade in the safehouse. It’s part of the Chaos skill tree. Now unleash the swarm near a big group of human enemies and quickly kill them while they are stunned by the swarm. A good place early in the game is in mission 4. After killing the enemies in the first big area you will come by a mobile armory and some civilians/prisoners come running down some stairs. When you see the civilians there is a larger group of enemies standing close together. Unleash the swarm and pick them off one by one when they are stunned. Kill yourself to restart the checkpoint if the trophy / achievement doesn’t unlock.
Rolling Heavy
Kill 5 enemies using one burst of Unstoppable Force.
This trophy / achievement requires you to upgrade the “Overwhelming Force” Ability in the safehouse of campaign mode. It’s part of the Martial skill tree. The fully upgraded version is called “Unstoppable Force”. It lets you fly for a couple of meters and destroy everything in your path. You must line up 5 enemies and then activate the skill.
A great spot is in Mission 4: Provocation. A few minutes after the mission starts you come a little village where some slaves are being held. There’s a turret in the middle. After killing the first wave of enemies six robots will approach the area. They will stand still after a while to defend the path to the next area. Approach them and use the Unstoppable Force ability on the group of robots. It should instantly destroy all of them. It’s recommended to do this on Recruit difficulty. If it didn’t work you can kill yourself to restart the checkpoint.
Gun Game
In Campaign, kill 5 enemies with 5 different guns in under 30 seconds.
Mission 4: Provocation
A few minutes into this mission you will come to an area with lots of containers and you get ambused by lots of robots. There is a mobile armory here. The trick is to use the mobile armory to switch loadouts. Do a kill with the primary and secondary weapons you have equipped. Then go back to the mobile armory and switch weapons. Repeat until you have 5 kills within 30 seconds. There’s also a checkpoint right in front of the mobile armory, in case you need to retry.
Biff! Bap! KaPow!
Kill three enemies in a melee combo.
To do this you must first buy the fully upgraded “Takedown” skill in the safehouse. It’s part of the Martial skill tree. The fully upgraded version is called “Rapid Strike”. It allows you to do a x3 melee combo. Make sure you equip it in your loadout before starting a mission. Now look for 3 enemies that are standing close together. The first 3 enemies in Mission 6: Vengeance are perfect for this. Press the right stick to attack one after the other. You should see a button prompt when close to an enemy. When done correctly you will see a little animation of you rushing from enemy to enemy and instant-killing them.
Maximum Firepower
Take control of an ASP.
Mission 7: Rise & Fall
For this trophy / achievement you must buy the “Remote Hijack” skill in the safehouse. It’s part of the Control Core skill tree.
At the end of mission 7 you will have to fight some large robots – the so called “ASP”. The first one you must destroy cannot be hacked. After that a smaller ASP is dropped off by a helicopter. Use the Remote Hijack ability on it. It takes a few seconds to hack it. Once you are in control of the machine the trophy / achievement will unlock.
Crackshot
In Campaign, kill 5 enemies from over 100m away.
Mission 9: Sand Castle
At the start of this mission you will be flying a VTOL and must destroy the defenses of an enemy base. Fly 100+ meters away from the base and start shooting the enemies from afar. This works best with the VTOL’s Machine Gun. You can also zoom in to see enemies more easily. Odds are you will get this trophy / achievement here without even trying.
For real this time
Earn a Gold Rating in the training simulator.
The training simulator can be accessed in the safehouse of campaign mode, after beating mission 2. It’s a combat simulation consisting of 16 rounds. If you beat all 16 waves you are pretty much guaranteed a gold rating. Do it as quickly as possible and you’ll get even more points.
27,500 points are required for gold. But if you want the “Tried and True” decoration you must get at least 35,000 points. You must be very quick to pull this off. The decoration is required for the “Personal Decorator” trophy / achievement. Set the game to recruit difficulty to make things easier.
Silverback In Black
Hack the Data Vault and brace yourself for Cyber’s Avengening in Dead Ops Arcade 2.
After beating Mission 2: New World in the campaign you can enter the safehouse at any time. In the safehouse is a data terminal (looks like a big computer screen). Access the terminal and press the hidden button in the top left corner. Pressing the button is going to start up Dead Ops Arcade 2. The trophy / achievement pops automatically after watching the intro sequence.
Sorry, we’re DEAD
In Shadows of Evil, kill 10 zombies that are inside of a store in one game.
There are 4 stores in the Junction District starting area after opening the first gate. Kill 10 zombies in any of them to unlock the trophy / achievement. You can shoot them or use the knife. The 10 kills don’t have to be from one store, they count across all stores. Always repair the barricades so you have more time to kill the zombies before they leave the store. Run from store to store and look if there’s a zombie. You should be done with this in round 6 or 7, the spawns are a bit random.
Strike!
In Shadows of Evil, use the rocket shield attack to kill at least 10 zombies in one burst.
To build the rocket shield you must find 3 parts. Each part is in a different district – 1 in Canal District, 1 in Footlight District, 1 in Waterfront District. You only need to open the first gate to each of these districts, then use the demon form to activate the power and unlock the stairs. The exact location of the parts slightly varies on each playthrough, but they will always be in the same district in the upstairs area. They always look the same, just go where I go in the video and run around the area until you see a button prompt to pick up the object.
Once you have all 3 parts, open the second gate in Waterfront district. Here you will find a workbench where you must assemble the shield (only takes a few seconds). You can activate the burst with R2 on PS4 / RT on Xbox One. Wait for a big group of 10+ zombies and use the burst to kill them.
The Spider and the Fly
In Shadows of Evil, kill 10 zombies ensnared by a Widow’s Wine grenade.
To get Widow’s Wine you must open a portal in the Canal District. Transform into the demon to break open a door in the canal. Behind the door is the portal that leads to a new area. Widow’s Wine is actually a perk, not just a grenade. After leaving the portal, kill the ghosts and activate the power to the Widow’s Wine machine. Now you can buy the perk, it costs 4000 points. It lets you throw special grenades that damage and slow down enemies. And when you are being attacked it automatically freezes the zombies and damages them over time until they die. The perk is limited to a few uses per round. Knifing enemies also has a chance of ensnaring them for a while.
When going for the trophy / achievement you can either throw a Widow’s Wine grenade yourself or just let a large group of zombies attack you. Odds are you will get trapped by zombies in high level rounds, thus the perk gets activated and then the trophy comes naturally. They get damaged over time and will die automatically without you doing anything.
Parasite-Seeing
In Shadows of Evil, kill 5 Parasites while riding on the train.
The Parasites always spawn in round 5. They are yellow insects flying around and shooting at you. Go to the train station in round 5 and ride the train (costs 500 points to activate). While you’re on the train you must kill 5 of these parasites, then the trophy / achievement will unlock.
Beat CoP
In Shadows of Evil, summon the Civil Protector in every district in a single game.
First you must find 3 fuses and activate the fuse box. The fuses are scattered across different districts: Canal District, Waterfront District, Footlight District. They are all on the upper floor and you must open 2 gates in each district to reach them. They are glowing blue. Their exact location varies a little bit with each playthrough, but they are always in the same area, on the upper floor.
Go through the portal in Canal District to reach the fuse box. Once it’s active you can summon the civil protector. There are 4 districts and it must be activated in each one to unlock the “Beat CoP” trophy / achievement. Each activation costs 2000 points. You can only have one active at a time. Wait for the robot to explode (takes 2-3 rounds), then you can activate the next. It will probably take you till round 13 to activate them all.
In Co-Op you must summon all 4 Civil Protectors by yourself. It doesn’t count if another player summons him (but it doesn’t void the trophy either, you can simply reactivate the box later and summon him yourself).
The Beginning of the End
In Shadows of Evil, complete all Rituals.
+ From the Shadows
In Shadows of Evil, spot the Shadowman five times in one game.
Completing this Easter Egg in Zombie Mode will unlock the Pack-a-Punch machine for upgrading your weapons. The good news is that you can complete it solo and by the end of round 5 or 6.
There are 5 collectible items you must find (Summoning Key, Golden Fountain Pen, Badge, Championship Belt, Hair Piece). These items are used to start the 5 rituals. For the “Beginning of the End” trophy / achievement you only need to do the first 4 rituals. The fifth and final one then unlocks the Pack-a-Punch machine. You have to do all of this in one playthrough.
You will also unlock the “From the Shadows” trophy / achievement along the way.
None Left Standing
In Der Eisendrache, kill every type of zombie using a minigun.
There are two sure shot ways to spawn a minigun (also called death machine). The first one would be to get the “Fatal Contraption” Mega Gobblegum from Monty’s Factory. But since you acquire gobblegums randomly this might not be ideal. A much better, and safer way, is to run over the blue pressure plate near the Juggernog during anti-gravity. This one pressure plate will spawn a death machine pickup at the workbench by the pyramid. To trigger anti-gravity just stand on all 4 pressure plates around the pyramid for a few seconds.
Now as for the zombies, there are 4 types you must kill with the minigun:
#1 – Normal Zombie (you know them, they spawn all the time).
#2 – Panzersoldat (big robot guy, spawns in round 12, 17/18, 22/23…).
#3 – Electric Zombie (must be electrified by a Panzersoldat’s Shock Charges. Just let him chase after you for a while and he will electrify a zombie).
#4 – Burning Zombie (must be burned by a Panzersoldat’s Flamethrower. Just let him chase after you for a while and he will burn a zombie).
Dogs are not needed for the trophy / achievement. The earliest you can do it is in round 12, because that’s the first time a Panzersoldat spawns. Kill off some Zombies and let him chase you around the pyramid room. When some zombies are burning/electrified you wait for anti-gravity, run over the pressure plate and quickly grab the death machine pickup. Then kill the Panzersoldat and all the zombies.
Take a Bow
In Der Eisendrache, upgrade the Wrath of the Ancients.
The Wrath of the Ancients is a bow you can upgrade. There are 4 different variations: electric, fire, wind, wolf. In this guide I show you the electric upgrade.
You must do these steps in the given order. You cannot skip a step!
Step 1: Feed the 3 Dragons. This is done by killing zombies under them. They must chew up 7 zombies you’ve killed. Then the dragons fall apart.
Step 2: Now you have unlocked the Wrath of the Ancients Bow, pick it up.
Step 3: To start upgrading it, use the Death Ray Trap (section after turning on the power) and shoot the weather vane to the left of the death ray.
Step 4: A Blue arrow falls down from the weather vane. Pick it up.
Step 5: There are 3 bonfires scattered around the map. Shoot them with arrows to light them up.
Step 6: Go to the Pyramid room. Wait for the anti-gravity to activate and wall run over the 5 blue symbols on the wall.
Step 7: Now 3 electrified urns show up around the map. You must kill 5-8 zombies near each urn. Then some blue orbs will get sucked into the urns. When the orbs stop appearing you move on to the next urn.
Step 8: Charge arrows at the urns (hold down shooting button / R2 on PS4 / RT on XB1). The arrows are now electrified. Shoot the same 3 bonfires again with the electric arrows.
Step 9: Return to where you picked up the blue arrow in step 4 by the death ray. There’s some blue fog, hold square (PS4) / X (XB1) to interact with it.
Step 10: Shoot the weather vane with your arrows once again and pick up the blue arrow that falls down.
Step 11: Pick up the arrow and place it at the pyramid. Now kill 15-20 zombies near the pyramid to collect blue orbs. After a while the upgrade is finished.
Step 12: Pick up your new and super powerful bow and you’re done! Congrats!
A recommendation: it’s a bit easier with a co-op partner. They can hold off the zombies while you aim at the bonfires. It also works solo.
Not Big Enough
In Der Eisendrache, trap and kill a Panzersoldat using the Ragnarok DG-4.
+ Time to Slam
In Der Eisendrache, revive two players protected by the Ragnarok DG-4.
To build the Ragnarok Wonder Weapon you must find 3 parts and put them together at a workbench.
Part 1: Dropped by the first Panzersoldat (spawns in round 12). Use Wrath of the Ancients Bow to kill him quickly.
Part 2: Activate the Death Ray Trap (on the bastion walls after turning on the power). This spawns a blue glowing object in the sky. You must use a Wundersphere to get it (will be random which Wundersphere you must use to reach it, changes on every playthrough. There are 4 Wunderspheres one always leads to the part in the sky).
Part 3: In the Rocket Pad area, wait for 1-2 minutes until the rocket launches. Quickly use the switch underneath the rocket (turns from red to green when useable) and run back inside to the teleporter. There is a console with 3 lights that will turn from red to green. When they are all green you must hit the switch on the console. Be cautious of zombies spawning here.
After you have the Ragnarok you can do 2 trophies / achievements with it:
– TIME TO SLAM (In Der Eisendrache, revive two players protected by the Ragnarok DG-4.):
Let two of your teammates kill themselves with a grenade, then plant the Ragnarok and revive them.
– NOT BIG ENOUGH (In Der Eisendrache, trap and kill a Panzersoldat using the Ragnarok DG-4.)
Every couple of rounds some more Panzersoldaten will spawn (usually round 17/18, 22/23…). When they spawn, weaken them first (about 10 shots with your bow) and then plant the Ragnarok on the ground near them. It will make them hover for a few seconds. You must kill them WHILE they hover in the air! This only lasts a very short time, which is why you must weaken them first. When they fall back down to the ground it will no longer count for the trophy / achievement. Your teammates can help you by planting their own Ragnarok traps. It doesn’t matter who plants the trap. Only the player landing the killing shot will get the trophy, regardless of who set up the trap.
Quick Off Your Feet
In Der Eisendrache, wall buy the BRM.
Step 1: Activate the 4 pressure plates in the undercroft (room with the pyramid after turning on power). You can do this by standing on each plate for a few seconds.
Step 2: This will trigger an anti-gravity effect. Wall run over all 6 pressure plates during anti-gravity. The ones you haven’t yet activated are glowing blue. Doesn’t have to be in one wave of anti-gravity.
Step 3: The BRM is now unlocked at the wall by the pyramid. To reach it you must double jump during anti-gravity. It costs 1800 points.
That’s a lot of Jigawatts!
In Der Eisendrache, electrocute 121 zombies.
See Take a Bow for getting the Electric Bow. Then kill 121 enemies with it, easy. Alternatively you may also use traps.
Fling Me to the Moon
In Der Eisendrache, use every Wundersphere twice.
There are 4 Wunderspheres on Der Eisendrache. To activate them you must first interact with the 4 landing pads.
Once a landing pad has been triggered, the lights on the corresponding Wundersphere turn from red to green. It will stay active throughout the match. The Wundersphere flings you into the air and to the landing pad (similar to a teleporter). Each use costs 500 points!
Landing Zone #1 – In the starting area
Landing Zone #2 – In the first courtyard of the bastion, upstairs
Landing Zone #3 – At the bastion walls (the area after turning on the power)
Landing Zone #4 – In the rocket pad area after using the teleporter
Wundersphere #1 – From the rocket pad area to the starting area
Wundersphere #2 – From the first courtyard to the bastion walls
Wundersphere #3 – From the courtyard after the bastion walls (before going down to the catacombs) to the first courtyard
Wundersphere #4 – From the bastion walls to the rocket pad.
Remember that you must use each Wundersphere twice (you do not need to reactivate the landing pads for this).
Death From Above
In Der Eisendrache, kill a zombie while being flung by a Wundersphere.
See Fling Me to the Moon for the Wundersphere locations and how to activate them. Now use one of them when some zombies are chasing after you and kill them while in the air (pretty easy with a bow). If you have the Ragnarok or an upgraded bow you can power up an attack and while the enemies get sucked in by your weapon you can fling yourself with the Wundersphere.
Crop Duster
In Zetsubou No Shima, kill 10 zombies with a single shot of the KT-4
To build the KT-4 you must find 3 pieces and put them together at a workbench. Their locations are as follows:
Part 1: Where you turn on the power there’s a cage you can lower down. This only works after turning on the power (bring irradiated water in a bucket to start the generator). Lure a spider into this cage and bring the cage back up. Some blood will be drained from the spider which counts as a part for this weapon.
Part 2: Inside the bunker open the door in the middle and go down to the lab. There’s another door at the side you can open and swim down a cave. At the very bottom there’s an aquatic plant you must pick up. Shoot the yellow bubbles on the walls to replenish oxygen. Be quick or you’ll drown!
Part 3: This one is randomly dropped by a zombie sometime between round 7-12 after permanently turning on the power in the bunker. The zombie with the item will be glowing green, but it’s hard to see. He drops the item when you kill him. Interact with it to pick it up.
Now you can build the KT-4 in the lab of the bunker (corner of the room). To get the trophy you will want to have a lot of zombies running after you. Just run in circles and stay in one area. Then charge up a shot by holding down R2 (PS4) / RT (XB1) and shoot on the floor. This will create a pool of acid and the zombies get killed when they walk through it. The acid stays there for a few seconds. Only fire one charged shot, if you fire multiple shots it might not count.
HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g58TwQGhde0
Sanguine Serum
In Zetsubou No Shima, drink fresh Widow’s Wine
First you must get the KT-4 (see link above). Then fire the KT-4 at the web on the far left side of the map (near the blue water pool). The KT-4 is the only thing in the game that will make the web go away.
Behind this web is a cave with a big spider boss. Shoot the spider in its mouth until it dies. Then go further down into the cave and you will see some purple water you can drink from – that’s the fresh Widow’s Wine. Upon trinking it the trophy / achievement unlocks and you also get a Widow’s Wine Perk-a-Cola.
Please be aware that can only carry 4 perks at a time. So if you already have 4 perks you cannot interact with it.
The Ultimate Sacrifice
In Zetsubou No Shima, retrieve the Skull of Nan Sapwe
For this you must bring 4 skulls to their corresponding altars and defend them from zombies. You find all 4 skulls to the right of the starting area. Every skull and altar has a symbol. You must make sure the symbol on the skull is identical to the one on the altar. Always put the skull on its matching altar.
The skull & alatar locations are always the same., only the symbols change with every playthrough. You’ll have to go to the altar and check the symbol first, then go grab the matching skull. Put the skull on the altar, fight off the zombies and let the skull charge. If the zombies destroy the skull you can retry the ritual in the next round. After a successful ritual you must return the skull to where you got it.
Once all 4 skulls are charged you get access to a ritual room. Here you can do one final ritual for the Nan Sapwe wonder weapon.
Altar Locations:
#1 – In the starting area
#2 – To the left of starting area at the crashed plane trap.
#3 – In the lab inside the bunker
#4 – At the zipline down by the docks/bunker
You can visit these altars in any order. On the third ritual there’s always 2 thrashers spawning, so be prepared! The gobblegum “In Plain Sight” comes in handy here as the enemies will ignore you completely.
HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g58TwQGhde0
Iron Lung
In Zetsubou No Shima, stay underwater for one minute
First you will have to turn on the power to enter the bunker (bring buckets with irradiated water to the power generators). See link above if you don’t know how to do that yet.
In the bunker there’s a laboratory with a flooded tunnel. There are 3 orange spores on the walls of this flooded tunnel. Shooting them replenishes your oxygen. You can have about 15 seconds worth of oxygen in your lungs. You get 15 seconds when you go underwater + 45 seconds from the 3 underwater spores. After 10 seconds your character takes deep breaths. After 3 deep breaths wait just half a second longer and then shoot the spores. At 4 deep breaths you die instantly.
You will have to cut it very close. Bring a quick revive if you are playing solo because you are going to die at the end. You can practice the timing in the pool of the starting area. Get a feeling for how much time you have between the third and fourth breath and make it as close as possible.
Alternatively, you could look for the 3 Gas Mask pieces (1 in crashed plane area, 1 in zipline area outside bunker, 1 in area with green pool of irradiated water). The Gas Mask doubles the time you can stay underwater, but it’s not a must-have for this trophy / achievement.
HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g58TwQGhde0
Assault with Battery
In Zetsubou No Shima, electrocute a zombie with a shield
First you must find the 3 shield parts. They always spawn in the same area, but the exact spawn location slightly varies with each playthrough. The spawn areas are as follows:
1) Left side power generator – check the walls where you can buy the Kuda weapon.
2) Artillery in bunker – After entering the bunker open the first door on the right. There’s a small area with an artillery.
3) Right side power generator – Usually at one of the trees in the area below the power generator room.
Now build the shield at a workbench (there’s one at each of the power generators).
In the next step you must complete the 3 trials from the pillar by the skull altar. The pillar will be glowing yellow. When you walk up to it you can look at the glowing symbols and see your trial requirements. The trials are randomized and change with every playthrough! You could keep restarting the match until you get easy trials. Usually the ones that are plant related or want you to do trap kills are pretty easy.
After finishing your 3 random trials return to the pillar and press Square (PS4) / X (XB1) to get your 3 rewards. The rewards spawn on the altar with the skulls in front of you. Pick them all up. Now equip your shield and stand by the altar. You will get hit by lighting and the shield becomes electrified.
Just hit a zombie with the electric shield and the trophy / achievement unlocks. You just need to get a bit lucky with the trials. Other than that it’s easy.
One Too Many
In Zetsubou No Shima, throw up
To throw up you must have 4 perks and then eat a fruit from a plant. To get a fruit from a plant you must water the seed with blue, purple and green water. You have to water it once every round! It’s random what reward it will give you – it’s not always a fruit! The fruit gives you another perk. Because you can only carry 4 perks it will make you throw up instead of giving you the new perk.
To increase the odds of getting a fruit you should grow 3 plants at the same time.
Detailed Step-by-Step instructions:
First turn on the power: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g58TwQGhde0
Step 1: Pick up Bucket
Step 2: Plant seeds (3 seeds to increase odds of getting fruit)
Step 3: Water the seeds with BLUE irradiated water
Step 4: In the next round water the seeds with PURPLE irradiated water
Step 5: In the next round water the seeds with GREEN irradiated water
Step 6: Complete the round. Plants are now fully grown and should have fruit or a different pickup. DO NOT INTERACT WITH THE PLANTS YET. YOU NEED 4 PERKS FIRST.
Step 7: Get 4 perks and then eat a fruit to throw up. If you have multiple fruits you can consume one to get a free perk. Buy the rest from perk-a-cola machines. It doesn’t matter what perks you have. Just reach the maximum perk limit. Note: If you use the “Unquenchable” Mega Gooblegum you must get 5 perks. If you don’t have it 4 perks is the limit.
It’s really important that you use the 3 different water colors to water the seeds. Even though the exact order of the colors doesn’t matter I had the best success rate with blue-purple-green. And keep in mind it is somewhat random if the grown plant has fruit or not. If it doesn’t you will have to repeat the steps.
Web of Defeat
In Zetsubou No Shima, remove webs in every possible way in one game
For this trophy / achievement you need to destroy webs with the following weapons in one game:
#1 – Normal Knife (Starting Weapon)
#2 – Frag Grenade (Starting Weapon)
#3 – XM-53 Rocket Launcher (Obtained randomly from Unwatered Plants or the Mystery Box)
#4 – Ray Gun (obtained randomly from Mystery Box)
#5 – KT-4 Wonder Weapon (in-depth guide for getting it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5uUEZTaL-o)
#6 – Widow’s Wine Grenade (defeat spider boss after getting KT-4 or get it from the “Perkaholic” Mega Gobblegum – for some people the trophy unlocked without using widow’s wine grenades)
#7 – Bowie Knife (Buy from Wall for 3000 points)
It doesn’t matter if you use the upgraded KT-4 (blue) or the normal version (green). You don’t need both, either one of them will count towards the trophy.
Furthermore, you don’t need to destroy every type of web. You only need to destroy one web-type per weapon (Gobblegum machine / Perk-a-Cola machine / webs blocking the way between areas).
Herbal Remedy
In Zetsubou No Shima, use a plant to return to life
For this you must make a “quick revive plant”. It brings you back to life after bleeding out. To get it you must put seeds in the ground, water them with blue water and then shoot them with the KT-4 wonder weapon for 3 rounds in a row. Any water color works, blue had the best success rate for me. Must use same water color every time. Make sure to water the seeds in every round and also shoot them with the KT-4 in every round. It doesn’t matter if your KT-4 is upgraded or not. After shooting a seed you must see some green dots floating around it. After doing this for 3 successive rounds you have a chance of getting the quick revive plant. It’s roughly a 10% chance, completely random.
Detailed Step-by-Step instructions:
First turn on the power:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g58TwQGhde0
And then get the KT-4 Wonder Weapon:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5uUEZTaL-o
Step 1: Pick up Bucket
Step 2: AFTER GETTING THE KT-4, plant seeds (3 seeds to increase odds of getting quick revive plant)
Step 3: Water the seeds with BLUE irradiated water and shoot them with the KT-4 wonder weapon in the same round
Step 4: In the next round, for the second time use blue water on seeds and shoot them again with the KT-4
Step 5: In the next round, for the third time use blue water on seeds and shoot them again with the KT-4
Step 6: Complete the round. Plants are now fully grown. If you are lucky (10% success rate, completely random) you get a quick revive plant. Make sure to activate it so that it turns into a bigger egg-like shape.
Step 7: Let the enemies kill you and bleed out. You are now reborn inside the plant and get all your perks and weapons back (from the time you activated it). This unlocks the trophy / achievement.
What plants you end up with is somewhat random. If you do not get the desired plant make new seeds and repeat the steps. It is very important you shoot the seeds with the KT-4 in every round.
Taking Flight
In Gorod Krovi, ride a Dragon.
How to Unlock Dragons & reach Pack a Punch area:
Step 1: Activate the power switch (easy, just open a few doors to get there).
Step 2: Now zombies will randomly drop cylinders. Get one of those.
Step 3: Insert cylinder in the corresponding groph module. There are 3 total. Each cylinder matches one groph module.
Step 4: A drop pod will now fall from the sky. Look for a green beam in the sky to find it (random location). Get there quickly and defend it from zombies! The pod must be charged by killing zombies near it. Then it will open up and give you a circuit part (you need all 3 circuits from 3 pods).
Step 5: Get 2nd cylinder (random drop), insert it in corresponding groph module and defend second pod.
Step 6: Get 3rd cylinder (random drop), insert it in corresponding groph module and defend third pod.
Step 7: Bring all 3 circuit parts to the underground lab. You can insert them here.
Step 8: The dragon platforms are now active! Go to a dragon platform and activate it for 500 points to summon a dragon. The dragon will bring you to the Pack-a-Punch area where you can upgrade your weapons and also trigger a Lockdown Event.
Not One Inch
In Gorod Krovi, complete a Lockdown Event.
HOW TO UNLOCK DRAGON & PACK-A-PUNCH:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xV9NZyOsJMc
First you must ride a dragon to the pack-a-punch machine. If you don’t already know how to do that, use the video guide above. In the pack-a-punch area there’s a crystal. Interacting with it will trigger a lockdown event. Here you must defend yourself from multiple waves of enemies. You will face normal zombies, lots of robots and drones.
Make sure you come very very well prepared. You cannot buy any ammo or perks here (even the pack-a-punch will be unavailable during lockdown)! The fight lasts for about 4 rounds and the enemies here don’t give you money. I highly recommend the GKZ-45 Mk3 from the mystery box. With it you can camp on the upper floor and create black holes that will suck in the enemies. The upper floor is the best place to camp because enemies can only come from one direction.
Ammo preservation is very important here. Also bring at least 5000 points so you can use the Pack-a-Punch before interacting with the crystal. When all enemies are dead the lockdown will end. Now you can pick up the Dragon Strike Controller from the Crystal (which you will need for the “Fire MissioN” trophy).
The Fafnir Shield will also be useful for extra protection: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKtpc8iUvk0
Fire Mission
In Gorod Krovi, kill 8 zombies with a single Dragon Strike.
First you need to do these two things:
RIDE A DRAGON TO PACK-A-PUNCH AREA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xV9NZyOsJMc
SURVIVE A LOCKDOWN EVENT (IN PACK-A-PUNCH AREA): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqXy5UI80VU
Just follow the above video links if you don’t know how to get here, they will show you all steps and walk you through the full lockdown (solo).
After completing the lockdown event you can pick up the “Dragon Strike Controller” in the Pack-a-Punch room. Now go downstairs and exit this area via the sewers. You can only use the Dragon Strike outside! Run in big circles to get enough zombies. Then press D-Pad Right to place the Dragon Strike. The zombies will automatically run into it and stay in place (just like monkey bombs). A dragon will come and kill the zombies.
Because the zombies are automatically attracted by this weapon it’s quite easy to kill 8 at once. The only hard part is getting this item.
Wield a Fist of Iron
In Gorod Krovi, wield the Gauntlet of Siegfried.
HOW TO UNLOCK DRAGONS & PACK-A-PUNCH AREA:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xV9NZyOsJMc
Step 1: First you must ride a dragon to the Pack-a-Punch area (Hatchery). If you don’t already know how to do this, check the video link above.
Step 2: Shoot down the Dragon Egg in the basement of the Hatchery & pick it up.
Step 3: Place Egg in a Nest (there’s one in every area where the dragon breathes fire, e.g. in the starting area).
Step 4: Bathe Egg in Fire (run in Circles near egg until Dragon comes to breathe fire)
Step 5: Let the Egg cool down (complete 1-2 rounds). Then pick it up again.
Step 6: Now do the 3 egg-related tasks from the challenge board in the starting area. They are: Kill Napalm Zombies (burning), Get Penetrating Multikills (Sniper is best), Do Melee Kills (Shield is best).
Step 7: Go back to basement of the Hatchery. Place egg in machine, defend it, surive 1-2 rounds for it to cool down.
Step 8: Head back to starting area. Pick up the Gauntlet of Siegfried from the Challenge Board. All done!
Blown Away
In Gorod Krovi, kill 10 zombies at once with the Guard of Fafnir.
There are 3 shield parts you must find for this. Their exact locations will vary on each playthrough, but the general area is always the same. Also be aware that there are severe loading issues, causing the parts to be rendered invisible (you can pick up invisible parts anyway, they are just harder to find).
The general shield areas are:
– Armory (first or second floor)
– Infirmary (first or second floor)
– Operations Bunker (the underground lab, can also be outside the bunker near the door for 750 points / near gobblegum machine)
When you have all 3 parts you must build the shield at the workbench inside the Operations Bunker.
Vaporeyezed
In Gorod Krovi, use the Gigant Beam to kill 20 Zombies in one activation.
First you must turn on the power. Just open the doors and go to the power switch (see video link below for a tutorial).
Now head to the Supply Depot area. It’s only accessible after activating the power. There’s a trap for 1500 points called “Gigant Eye Beam”. With one activation of this trap you must kill 20 zombies. The trap stays active for 30 seconds.
You can do this as early as round 6 or 7. Just run around the room in big circles to lure in enough zombies. When you have 20+ running after you it’s time to activate the trap. Hide behind the light beam and the zombies will walk right into it.
If you don’t get it on the first try you can activate the trap again (one round cooldown time).
How to turn on the power: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xV9NZyOsJMc
Zombiepult
In Gorod Krovi, launch 10 zombies into the air at the same time.
Step 1: Get GKZ-45 Mk3 / Monkey Bombs / Dragon Strike (only 1 of these 3 is needed)
Step 2: Activate power and run in big circles around the Flinger trap (trap near the power switch)
Step 3: Use GKZ-45 Mk3 / Monkey Bombs / Dragon Strike on the Flinger Trap and quickly activate it! The GKZ will free the zombies. The Monkey Bombs / Dragon Strike will lure them to it. Without these weapons it would be pure luck to get 10 on it at the same time.
You can also use the Bridge Trap for this (the one for 500 points between infirmary and armory). I found it much easier with the Flinger trap as it is bigger and has more space to round up zombies. It is easiest with the Monkey Bombs, though they are very rare to get (I got them once in ~100 mystery box uses).
There are also some gobblegums that freeze or slow down zombies.
Time Attack
In Gorod Krovi, complete Time Attack: Round 20.
For this you must complete round 20 (reach round 21) within 32 minutes! You can check your time in the items screen.
You can do this solo or with multiple people.
I did it solo, without any mega gobblegums and without using the mystery box (no random weapons). I only used wall weapons (Kuda + Argus as main weapons).
It is highly recommended that you have all weapon attachments unlocked for Kuda + Argus. If you don’t have them you can switch to local mode (in the title screen) and it will automatically unlock everything!
MY LOADOUT:
Gobblegums: Stock Option, Always Done Swiftly, In Plain Sight, Anywhere But Here!, Alchemical Antithesis.
Perks: Quick Revive, Double Tap, Juggernog, Speed Cola.
Since you won’t have time to pack-a-punch your weapons you must absolutely buy the Double Tap perk (double damage).
Basically, all you must do is camp at the bridge trap on the top floor of the armory. Zombies can only come from one direction here. The Argus and Kuda are very close by, so you can refresh ammo quickly. Only buy stuff in between rounds (in the meantime new zombies can spawn). Turn on the power so that you can use the bridge trap if you are overrun by zombies. You should also use the bridge to get to the Argus and buy new ammo for it.
As soon as round 21 starts, the trophy will unlock (when your time is under 32 minutes). If you can spare any mega gobblegums, use them!
Doing all of this will also unlock a secret sword in the bunker. It will do one-hit melee kills in round 21+.
Controlled Chaos
In Revelations, override all of the Corruption Engines before round 6.
For this trophy / achievement you must have activated all 4 Corruption Engines by the time round 6 ends. This isn’t all too difficult. Use your knife and pistol in early rounds to get lots of points. Activate the engines as you come across them and open all doors. Don’t waste your points on perks. A shotgun is all you need.
After activating an engine you must stay alive for a few seconds. Lots of enemies will spawn. You can either run in circles and avoid them, or use the shotgun to one-hit kill them (this is safer). Each engine costs 500 points to be activated. It’s far easier with multiple players because everyone starts out with 500 points, allowing you to open more doors right away.
Pack-A-Punch-ectomy
In Revelations, recover the Pack-a-Punch machine from its abductor.
To unlock the Pack a Punch Machine you must do the following:
1) Override the 4 Corruption Machines – they are scattered around the map and quite easy to find. Here’s a full tutorial for all of them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edjesqlwXcQ
2) The terminal near the Juggernog perk will now turn green. Use it when the flying creature is nearby. Then jump into the creature’s mouth.
3) Shoot the 3 yellow things around the creature’s heart (when you are in its belly). This will drop the Pack-a-Punch. You can only access the PaP inside the creature’s belly. The creature will stay stunned near the console and you can go here anytime.
The Grand Tour
In Revelations, visit every unique location within 2 minutes.
For this trophy / achievement you have to do a speedrun across the entire map. The creature’s belly (pack-a-punch area) is not required for this. You can walk around the map in a big circle. You also need to override at least one Corruption Engine to teleport to a “hidden” area.
If you completed all 4 Corruption Engines you can use the portals to teleport from one area to the next: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edjesqlwXcQ
Wardrobe Change
In Revelations, wear three different hats.
HOW TO BUILD SUMMONING ALTAR: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yuWthtTicA
There are much more than 3 hats / masks. Here are the easiest three you can get relatively early:
#1 – Wolf Hat
Go to the “Der Eisendrache” part of the map (with the pyramide) and turn on anti-gravity by standing on the four tiles on the floor. Now throw a grenade at the wall opening near the pyramide. A skull will fall down. Feed the skull by killing zombies near it. You will hear an audio cue when it’s done. Get the hat from the “Kino der Toten”. It’s on one of the mannequins.
#2 – Al’s Hat
Can be found in the “Mob of the Dead” part of the map at any time. No special requirements, just pick it up.
#3 – Summoner Hat
Build the summoning altar, then summon a keeper and let it kill 20+ zombies. When you hear the audio cue the hat will show up on a mannequin in “Kino der Toten”.
Walkthrough for all Summoning Altar Parts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yuWthtTicA
You must wear 3 different hats in one match! When you start a new match the progress will be lost and you have to get all 3 again.
The hats also give you upgraded purple perks which makes them very useful items. More hats can by unlocked by killing certain amounts of each enemy type. For example: killing many Margwa’s will give you the Margwa hat.
Wonderful
In Revelations, kill 10 enemies in one shot with each wonder weapon.
For this trophy / achievement you need to kill 10+ enemies in one shot with the “Thundergun” and “Estulla Astoth” wonder weapons. Both of them are obtained randomly from the mystery box.
Please note that there are much more wonder weapons than that, but you only need these two for the trophy! The original trophy description is either wrong or the trophy is glitched in a good way. The other wonder weapons can safely be ignored for this.
The Thundergun and Estulla Astoth do massive AOE damage. Round up some zombies (works good in starting area) and kill 10+ in one hit. This has to be done in one match.
Important Co-Op info: when someone else gets the wonder weapon you can no longer get it from the box yourself (only if the other player puts it back into the box). In co-op it’s possible to trade weapons if you unlocked the weapon switch table. Unless you have a good team it’s recommended to do this solo. With randoms you run the risk that they get a wonder weapon and you get locked out of getting it.
Death Ray
In Revelations, kill 40 enemies with a single activation of a Corruption Turret.
This trophy / achievement works only in higher rounds. Round 35+ is recommended. It’s easier with 4 players because the zombies will spawn faster and in greater numbers.
Using a turret costs 2000 points. There are 4 Corruption Engines that can be overridden and each one of them turns into a turret. These turrets can be used as often as you want, but they do have a cooldown on them.
I found the one on “Der Eisendrache” to be the safest (enemies can only spawn in front of you here). Just make sure you don’t have low gravity enabled as it will slow down the zombies.
The turret stays active for exactly 20 seconds. During one single activation you must kill 40+ zombies! The problem is that there can’t be 40 on the map at the same time. At round 42 I only got 25 zombies to spawn at once. The trick is to lure them together, then kill them with the turret. More zombies will spawn and you must shoot them very quickly. They only respawn fast enough in higher rounds.
A viable strategy with 4 players is to have everyone collect zombies in a different area. Then everyone brings their zombies to the same turret.
Keep Close
In Revelations, assist a Keeper in defeating every type of enemy.
HOW TO SUMMON KEEPER & BUILD ALTAR: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yuWthtTicA
For this trophy / achievement you must shoot all 8 enemy types and then let a keeper kill them. This doesn’t have to be done by one single keeper. You can keep buying new ones for 5000 points each and their kills will count together. See link above on how to build the altar and summon a keeper.
The required enemies are as follows:
1) Corrupted Keeper (while overriding corruption engines. Also spawns in later rounds / during parasite rounds)
2) Fury (the crawling dog-like creatures. Spawns while overriding corruption engines. Also in later rounds / during parasite rounds)
3) Margwa – Orange or Purple, only one of the two types needed! (spawns in round 11 / 12)
4) Normal Zombie (found everywhere)
5) Rotten Zombie (only inside Apothicon’s stomach near pack-a-punch machine)
6) Spider (only inside Apothicon’s stomach near pack-a-punch machine)
7) Parasite (during parasite rounds, also found frequently inside Apothicon’s stomach)
8) Panzersoldat (spawns in round 18 / 19 / 20 and 26 / 27 / 28)
All of them except for the normal zombie will spawn inside the Apothicon (pack-a-punch area). You can run around in circles here and farm all the enemies. Remember you must shoot them once before the keeper kills them, otherwise it doesn’t count. Some players got it without having to shoot the parasites, so they might be an exception (I kept my starting pistol to make sure I don’t kill them in one hit).
