This page contains all the Armor Sets & Outfits in God of War 2018 on PS4, complete with a showcase, stats and image gallery. Armor can be crafted at the every Blacksmith’s Shop. Most armor sets are automatic story unlocks and merely take hacksilver (the game’s currency) to be crafted. A few high-level sets require materials, mostly found in Muspelheim and Niflheim. There are also sets you find in red chests in the game world and a few from side quests (favors).
You never have to farm for materials, more than enough are dropped by simply completing all the game has to offer. During the Muspelheim Trials and Niflheim Labyrinth you’ll get lots of Materials and Hacksilver. It’s also important to note that unique crafting materials are unmissable. They cannot be sold in the shop and if you forgot to pick them up, they will be placed in the “Lost Items” section of every shop. Therefore, nothing is missable.

what sets do i need to have to get trophies?
Only the Ancient Set and Traveller Set give a trophy.

I like both Brok and Sindri’s armor sets it would have been awesome if they would have made a set with both their additions in it instead of just a set each
There’s anoter set that was left unmentioned: “wyrwurm plated armor”, or something like that. Resembles the skin of a boa and it seems to be better than the runic scaled armor. I knew of this because my brother went to a place with a giant -I think he was dead-; and told me he found it there, then I compared the mentioned sets in here and none looked or was called like the one my bro has right now.

And the couple sets that were missed. wyrmskin rare armor set and the deaths vow set for example
I think my top three favorites are the Arcane Might, Ivaldi’s Deadly Mist, and Valkyrie sets. These are the ones that I found most useful throughout my playthrough. (It took a LOT of grinding to get the Deadly Mist armor though…)
