Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Cheats (PS4, Xbox, Switch)

June 20, 2019 by PowerPyx 20 Comments

There are 10 confirmed cheats in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch Remaster / Remake of CTR). Some of the original Cheats from the old PS1 version still work but some have been removed.

Warning: The cheats disable trophies / achievements, Grand Prix Challenges, and Adventure Rewards. The only exception is Penta Penguin Cheat, this one won’t disable anything.

How to Activate Cheats

To activate a cheat, go to the main menu screen (where it lets you select Adventure, Local Arcade, Online, Pit Stop, Highscores). There you hold :l1: + :r1: / :lb: + :rb: / :l: + :r: and enter the button combinations below. To deactivate a cheat, enter Adventure Mode and it will notify you that cheats get disabled, or simply reboot the game.

The cheats cannot be used in Arcade Mode (with exception of Penta Penguin). They only work in Local Arcade! Furthermore, you cannot activate more than one cheat at a time. If you have one cheat active, nothing will happen when you enter another code. You must first deactivate the current cheat to enable a new one!

Is the penguin cheat really not affecting trophies?

It doesn’t affect trophies (only gameplay cheats do).

If we apply the cheat codes, will trophies be affected for that session only or forever?
I mean if we turn the game off and then on again, will the trophies remain affected?

no only thing is affected is time trial basically if u use cheat and beat oxide it won’t count

What if I use infinite Aku Aku to clear all the remaining N Oxide trials but one, then disable the cheat and clear the last one normally. Would that void the trophy?

It doesn’t save progress with cheats enabled, so no this won’t work. They are only for fun, you can’t unlock anything trophy- or progression related with cheats active at any point in the process.

How do we disable the cheats? It says a pop up screen will appear but it doesn’t. So I am stuck with one lap races, infinite visibility and infinite boosts. Lol just wanted to test out some of them. ?
