Peak Performer
Get a 3-star rating on all Dashes in the main game
There are 22 Dashes (Races) in Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. Getting 3 stars in every Dash unlocks the “Peak Performer” trophy / achievement.
To get a 3 star rating you must complete the course very quickly. They are all time-based. The quicker you are, the more stars you get (3 stars being the highest rating).
They are freerunning exercises in which you must reach a certain target area. None of them have enemies. You unlock more dashes by playing through the story.
Tips:
– Beat the story first and unlock all movement upgrades and magrope skills.
– Always start with a shift to gain speed.
– You must use shortcuts (follow the routes from the video. Following the red arrows will almost never get you 3 stars. If you know the exact target area (e.g. by beating the dash once) you can also mark it on your map, then it will show you the quickest way there (shortcut).
– Use skill roll on big drops only. Use coil to jump over small objects without touching them (should be used wherever possible, practice this move a lot).
– Running, Shifting and Jumping all have the same speed. You can’t save time by shifting all the time, it won’t make you go faster. Running is the fastest way to move around.
– When you fall off a rooftop you should restart the dash right away.

A good Cascadian follows the rules
At the very start of the game (the first time you have control over the character) you must very slowly walk through the first two doors. Don’t run. Walk as slowly as possible and the trophy / achievement will unlock. This can be your first trophy in the game.
If you already completed this mission you can replay it via mission select (in the pause screen where you view the map and upgrade your character etc.). You can abort the mission after getting the trophy.
Praise the Run
Reach full focus and keep it going
Super easy, just keep running in circles for 2 minutes without the focus bar decreasing.
Elegant Flight
Deliver any fragile package without any damage to it
Works well in the fragile delivery called “Memento” near the headquarters safehouse (The Lair). This is a very easy and short delivery, one of the first you will come across. Always skill roll when doing jumps or dropping down somewhere. The skill roll will ensure a soft landing and keeps the package safe.
There is a package symbol displayed at the top of the screen. If you see it taking damage you must restart the delivery (let time run out or kill yourself and it will auto-restart).
Easy Runner
Springboard, Wallclimb, Turn, Jump, Coil, Skill Roll
First you must unlock the skills “Turn”, “Coil” and “Skill Roll” from the movement upgrades. Go to the place shown in the video and do the required combo in quick succession. It’s important you don’t do any other moves in between and complete it in one go without the focus bar breaking.

Veteran Runner

Belle of the Ball

First you must unlock the skills “Quickturn” and “Skill Roll” from the movement upgrades. Go to the place shown in the video (near Centurian Yards Safehouse) and do the required combo in quick succession. It’s important you don’t do any other moves in between and complete it in one go without the focus bar breaking. Also note that the wallclimb automatically counts as a jump. Don’t do separate jump between the slide and wallclimb. You are allowed to run between the moves.

Seb’s Salute

First you must unlock the “Skill Roll” from the movement upgrades. Go to the place shown in the video and do the required combo in quick succession. It’s important you don’t do any other moves in between and complete it in one go without the focus bar breaking.

Georges’ Garrison
Springboard, Swingbar, Jump, Wallclimb, Turn, Jump, Coil
A perfect place for this is at the start of the Main Mission #9: “Encroachment”. You can replay it in mission select at any time (that’s the menu where you also view the map and upgrade your character).
You can only reach the required place in this specific mission. Outside the mission it won’t be accessible.
Before doing this you must unlock the skills “Coil” and “Quickturn” from the movement upgrades. Go to the place shown in the video and do the required combo in quick succession. It’s important you don’t do any other moves in between and complete it in one go without the focus bar breaking.

After getting the trophy / achievement you can abort the mission in the pause screen if you wish. Your other story progress stays untouched when replaying this mission.
Undetected Surge
Shut down any gridNode without notifying KrugerSec of your presence
You will disable the first gridNode in the side mission “GRIDNODE RUN”. This is an unmissable story mission relatively early in the game (~30% story completion). You can replay it at any time from the side missions overview (where you view the map and upgrade your character).
The goal is to reach the top floor of the facility without touching any lasers. If you touch a laser you must restart the checkpoint.
You’ll know when you touched a laser because an alarm sound will play. If you touched a laser there will be some enemies at the end. In case something went wrong you can replay the mission as often as you want. There are many other gridNodes available. Completing them unlocks fast travel points to the safehouses.
Danger Zone
Reach full focus and take out 10 enemies before it runs out
A good opportunity for this is in Main Mission #7 “Fly Trap” (can be replayed at any time). A couple of minutes into this mission you will go to the Lair safehouse. Here you encounter a large group of enemies. There are more than enough enemies to get this done.
The two most important things to know:
– The kills only count AFTER the focus bar has been maxed out (build focus by running around or knocking out enemies).
– Your focus bar is allowed to decrease between knockouts. It just can’t hit zero. Just restart the checkpoint if it runs out.
It’s highly recommended you buy all upgrades first and then replay this part via mission select. The only tricky enemies are the Shock Protectors. Quickest way to kill them is with Traversal damage. Attack them from a wall run or climb on an object and jump down on them. The other enemies are pretty easy to defeat.
Every time you take damage your focus bar will decrease and when you knock someone out it will increase.
Hey, it’s-a-me again!
Perform a highground attack as a finishing move
For this you must take down the last opponent of an enemy encounter with an attack from above. When you defeat the last enemy you will usually see a special kill animation. There are endless opportunities to do this. For me it worked easily in the main mission “Fly Trap” when you encounter the first Sentinel enemy in the game. You will be fighting only a single Sentinel and no other enemies will spawn. Climb on one of the objects and press Triangle (PS4) / Y (XB1) as you jump down on him. Make sure the final hit is from above and you will see a little kill animation, then the trophy / achievement unlocks.
Please note it doesn’t necessarily have to be a Sentinel enemy. You can also do this earlier against weaker enemies. I chose this spot because you fight only one single enemy and it’s a sure shot way to get it done.
You can repeat the “Fly Trap” main mission at any time in mission select (where you also view the map and upgrade your character).
