Zelda Tears of the Kingdom - Zelda's Golden Horse Walkthrough

Zelda’s Golden Horse is a Side Adventure quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Zelda’s Golden Horse side adventure mission.

Location: Hebra > Snowfield Stable
Quest Giver: Harlow
Requirement: Having started Side Adventure: Potential Princess Sightings from Lucky Clover Gazette in Hebra
Reward: Royal Bridle and Royal Saddle, Golden Horse, 50 Rupees
Quest Info: You found the golden horse, and Harlow was beside herself when you returned the gentle creature to the stable. She asked you to take the horse, as it already seems attached to you. Penn flew off to write the whole story up for the newspaper.

Starting Location: Zelda’s Golden Horse

This quest starts by talking to Penn at Snowfield Stable. It’s only available after accepting Side Adventure: Potential Princess Sightings, and having talked to Penn outside the Lucky Clover Gazette in Hebra. He then spawns at the stables throughout the game to give you new side adventures, and this is one of them.

Defeat Frost Gleeok

Head straight north and you will find Frost Gleeok, attack his head with a bow to damage him. Once his health is below 25% he will drop onto the ground where you can attack him with melee attacks.

Find the Golden Horse

After you defeated Gleeok, move further to the north where you will find the golden horse.

Crouch by pressing the left stick, approach it from behind and press to mount it. To soothe it quickly tap . If you get thrown off during the soothing process, you either need to tap faster or need more stamina. You can upgrade stamina by completing Shrines for Lights of Blessing and redeeming them at angel statues (for example in the bunker of Lookout Landing), or by sleeping in the expensive bed at Stables.
