Zelda Tears of the Kingdom – The Dragon’s Tears Walkthrough

May 19, 2023 by PowerPyx Leave a Comment

The Dragon’s Tears is a Main Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Dragon’s Tears story mission.

Requirement: Finished Main Quest: Impa and the Geoglyphs
Reward:
Adds 11 new Memories in the Adventure Log
Quest Info:
You found one of the mysterious Dragon’s Tears within a geoglyph and received a vision about Princess Zelda by investigating it. Impa thinks that the mystery of the geoglyphs might connect to something that’s inside the Forgotten Temple. It’s located somewhere along the bottom of a canyon in Hebra.

Objectives:

  • Talk to Cado at The Forgotten Temple
  • Find Lady Impa at the end of Forgotten Temple
  • Find ‘something related to the geoglyphs’
  • Find All 11 Geoglyph Locations

Starting Location: The Dragon’s Tears

This quest starts automatically upon completing Main Quest: Impa and the Geoglyphs.

Talk to Cado at The Forgotten Temple

The Forgotten Temple will be marked by a yellow waypoint on the map. It’s in a canyon in the northeast of Hebra. You can glide down there. Talk to Cado inside the temple. He’s on the upper floor, you can glide there from above or climb the walls from below.

He will tell you that Lady Impa went further in the temple and we must find her.

Find Lady Impa at the end of Forgotten Temple

From Cado, turn around. Behind Cado, glide down in the temple and across the gaps. If you fall short, you can climb up the gaps or create a bridge by sticking 3 wooden boards together. There are some Bokoblins here but you can run past them if you prefer.

Go all the way to the end of the floor, then climb up to the opening in the wall.

In front of you will be Mayausiy Shrine, glide down to it. Activate the Shrine to unlock it as a fast travel point.

Talk to Impa next to the Shrine.

Find ‘something related to the geoglyphs’

Impa tells you to find ‘something related to the geoglyphs’. Go through the next 2 doors behind Impa.

This leads to a chamber with a stone circle in it. Keep going straight and drop down into the next room with a map of Hyrule on the floor. Land on this map and a cutscene will trigger.

Impa and Cado will now arrive and talk to you. After this, the adventure log for this quest updates and you must find all 11 Geoglyphs throughout Hyrule (you will already have 1 from the previous quest). For this step refer to Zelda Tears of the Kingdom All Geoglyph Locations.

Find All 11 Geoglyph Locations

See Zelda Tears of the Kingdom All Geoglyph Locations.

After getting all Geoglyphs the quest will complete instantly. No need to return to Impa.

This finishes The Dragon’s Tears Main Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

For all other Quests refer to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Walkthrough.
