Zelda Tears of the Kingdom The Death Caldera Crystal Location (Momosik Shrine)

The Death Caldera Crystal is a Shrine Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). It unlocks Momosik Shrine. This guide explains where to find The Death Caldera Crystal location to unlock the shrine.

The Death Caldera Crystal Shrine Quest Solution (Momosik Shrine)

1. Activate the shrine and head Northwest where you will find a cave blocked off by blue rocks:
   
2. Enter the Cave, this is the Death Mountain East Tunnel. Make sure to wear the Flamebreaker Armor Set because of the extreme heat here. Once inside defeat the Horriblin and you will see there is a cart and a fan laying near the tracks at the end of the path. Create a cart with a fan and put it on the tracks:
   
3. Hop in the cart and activate the fan. At the end of the path hop out and you will see the crystal on a lava rock:
   
4. Get close and the rock will turn into Igneo Talus. Shoot an arrow infused with Ice Fruit at Igneo Talus’ body which will cool it off for you to climb on and attack the crystal:
   
5. Once Igneo is defeated turn the cart around and place the crystal inside. Hop inside and activate the fan to bring you back to the start of the cave. Now walk the crystal back to the shrine to activate it and complete this quest.

The shrine itself doesn’t have any puzzles, it’s a “Rauru’s Blessing” reward shrine. Go inside, open the chest, and interact with the green gate at the end to complete the shrine.
