The Blocked Well is a Side Adventure quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Blocked Well side adventure mission.
Location: Gerudo > Gerudo Canyon Stable
Quest Giver: Penn
Requirement: Having started Side Adventure: Potential Princess Sightings from Lucky Clover Gazette in Hebra
Reward: 100 Rupees
Quest Info: Penn’s sources told him that Princess Zelda ordered the well to be made off-limits, but the reason she did so is a mystery. Penn thinks it’d be helpful to go down the well to look for clues, but his wings are too wide for him to fit.
Objectives:

Starting Location: The Blocked Well
This quest starts by talking to Penn at Gerudo Canyon Stable. It’s only available after accepting Side Adventure: Potential Princess Sightings, and having talked to Penn outside the Lucky Clover Gazette in Hebra. He then spawns at the stables throughout the game to give you new side adventures, and this is one of them.
Defeat the Monsters in the Well
Jump down the well directly in front of the quest giver.
Use a rock-infused weapon to destroy the brown rocks in the well.
This leads to a room with enemies. You must defeat all of them. They are pretty tough types of Lizalfoses (lizard enemies). There’s also a flower-type enemy on the wall. These enemies hit extremely hard, a single hit can cost you 10 hearts. It’s highly recommended to do this after getting to at least 10 health hearts. If you have a good bow and enough arrows you can just shoot the enemies. If you have already unlocked sages from the main story you can summon them from the key items menu to help you out in combat.
After defeating all enemies, Penn will automatically arrive and the quest is done. Relatively straightforward.
This finishes The Blocked Well Side Adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK).
