Zelda Tears of the Kingdom – The Beast and the Princess Walkthrough

May 21, 2023 by PowerPyx Leave a Comment

The Beast and the Princess is a Side Adventure quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Beast and the Princess side adventure mission.

Location: Central Hyrule > Hyrule Ridge > New Serenne Stable
Quest Giver:
 Penn
Requirement:
Having started Side Adventure: Potential Princess Sightings from Lucky Clover Gazette in Hebra
Reward:
 50 Rupees
Quest Info:
Penn has heard rumors that some have seen Princess Zelda riding a mountainous beast with brutal tusks. These sightings come from all over but seem to happen more in the subtropical region in the south. You may learn the truth behind these rumors at various stables from the travelers who gather there.

Objectives:

  • Talk to Cima in Faron Region to solve the Mystery

Starting Location: The Beast and the Princess

This quest starts by talking to Penn at New Serenne Stable. It’s only available after accepting Side Adventure: Potential Princess Sightings, and having talked to Penn outside the Lucky Clover Gazette in Hebra. He then spawns at the stables throughout the game and gives you new side adventures, one of which is this adventure.

Talk to Cima in Faron Region to solve the Mystery

This is a quick one-step quest. Simply talk to the girl named Cima in Faron (southeast region) > Bronas Forest. She stands next to an animal that looks like a hybrid of an Ox and Rhino. Talking to her reveals that the reported sightings were of this animal and not a mountainous beast.

Here’s the exact location where you must go and talk to Cima:

That’s all there is to it, the quest finishes immediately after talking to Cima. The quest description tries to throw you off by mentioning a subtropical region to the south and talking to people at stables, but the actual location is southeast really far away (other end of map) and you don’t need to visit any other stables for it. Just talking to Cima once is enough, then Penn arrives and gives you 50 Rupees as a reward.

This finishes The Beast and the Princess Side Adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

For the Potential Princess Sightings Questline, continue with the following quests:

  1. Zelda’s Golden Horse
  2. White Goats Gone Missing
  3. The Beast and the Princess
  4. Serenade to a Great Fairy
  5. For Our Princess!
  6. The All-Clucking Cucco
  7. The Missing Farm
  8. Gourmets Gone Missing
  9. The Beckoning Woman
  10. Princess Zelda Kidnapped?!
  11. An Eerie Voice
  12. The Blocked Well
