Zelda Tears of the Kingdom - Serenade to a Great Fairy Walkthrough

Serenade to a Great Fairy is a Side Adventure quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Serenade to a Great Fairy side adventure mission.

Location: Eldin > Woodland Stable
Quest Giver: Violynne
Requirement: Having started Side Adventure: Potential Princess Sightings from Lucky Clover Gazette in Hebra
Reward: 50 Rupees, Lucky Clover Gazette Fabric
Quest Info: Though the Great Fairy had gone into hiding after hearing of dire things from a woman who looked like Princess Zelda, the music of the troupe convinced her to emerge.

Starting Location: Serenade to a Great Fairy

This quest starts by talking to Penn at Woodland Stable. It’s only available after accepting Side Adventure: Potential Princess Sightings, and having talked to Penn outside the Lucky Clover Gazette in Hebra. He then spawns at the stables throughout the game to give you new side adventures, and this is one of them.

Examine the plant

After talking to Violynne, head to the plant behind you, up the hill, and examine it.

Repair the wagon

Now go back to Violynne and repair the wagon by attaching two wheels with the Ultrahand ability. You can find wheels in the shed next to the wagon.

Now you need a horse and a harness. Just catch any horse, see How to get a Horse, and to get the harness you need three pony points. You get one pony point by talking to the receptionist in a stable for the first time. See All Stable Locations. Once you have three pony points, examine the book in any stable.

Now choose “Receive Reward”

If you aren’t already, head back to the Stable where Violynne is, talk to Kish, and choose “Customize horse” then “Take horse”.

Choose any horse you want, then choose “Change Equipment” and select the harness.

Now attach the horse to the wagon with the Ultrahand ability.

Bring Violynne to the Fairy

After you repaired the wagon and attached the horse, talk to Violynne and choose “I’ll take you.”. Now drive slowly to the Fairy, a cutscene will start.
