Mayaotaki Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) is found in Hebra region, in North Lomei Labyrinth.
Mayaotaki Shrine Location
How to Get Through North Lomei Labyrinth
- From the start head in until you get to the corruption on the floor ahead. Here you can hit a flint near wood to create a fire (or attach fire fruit to arrow), toss a Hylian Pine Cone in the fire to make a gust of wind to glide across:
- At the end of the corridor make a right and then your first left and up the stairs. You’ll see a camp straight ahead. Make that right and at the next T intersection make a left. Then go right and you will see corruption on the floor:
- Make a left at the corruption and follow that path ahead until you get to the intersection with ice:
- Make a right and follow that path until you get to more corruption with wood near it:
- Light the wood and use a Hylian Pine Cone on it again and make your way across all of the corruption, straight ahead to the end of the corridor. At the end of the corridor there is a Pine Cone on the ground.
- Head right, to another Pine Cone by the corruption. Follow the Pine Cones to the next corruption. From there you will see another Pine Cone on the ground around the corner on the right. Head that way and you will come to more corruption blocking the path:
- Climb the wall and glide across the corruption and you will see a camp on the other side. Across from the camp head South through the hallway. At the end of the hall make a left and follow that path all the way to the next corruption following the Hylian Pine Cones. Jump across the corruption and make a right. In the next hall you will see a big piece of ice in the middle of the path:
- Follow the path straight behind the ice until you get to the 2 light posts with the ladder on the back wall:
- Follow the upper platform up the stairs and you will see the shrine down ahead:
- Melt the ice in front of the Shrine by putting Wood + Flint and hit the flint with a sharp weapon to light it on fire (or attach Fire Fruit to an arrow and shoot the wood with it). If you happen to have a torch you can hold it in the fire and then hold the torch at the ice to melt it even faster.
Mayaotaki Shrine Solution
The Labyrinth was the challenge of this shrine and the shrine itself doesn’t have any puzzles, it’s a “Rauru’s Blessing” reward shrine. Melt the ice in front of the shrine and go inside, open the chest (contains 1 Diamond), and interact with the green gate at the end to complete the shrine.
After exiting the Shrine, you can interact with the green-glowing altar straight across from it to start Side Quest: The North Lomei Prophecy.
For all other Shrines refer to Zelda Tears of the Kingdom All Shrines.
