Mayak Shrine Location
Mayak Shrine Solution
This entire shrine is about timing. If you don’t get it the first try try to tweak your timing ever so slightly to make the timing better. The timing windows are fair but still tight.
- Head into the first room and take note of the glowing yellow post. Hit it to take note of the platform it moves:
- Use the launcher to the left to reach the upper platform where you will see boulder. Use Ultrahand to put it on the ramp and get back down to the yellow post:
- Once the boulder rolls off the ledge ahead you will have to time your swing on the yellow post so the boulder lands on the target:
- Use the launcher to cross the gap once you have hit the target with the boulder and enter the next room. In the next room note where the activation post is and locate the launcher to the right. Use the launcher to make your way to another launcher in the corner:
- Use that launcher to make your way to the top platform:
- You will see another boulder sitting next to a ramp. Place the boulder on the ramp and dive your way back down to the post:
- Land on the platform with the yellow post and give it a second before activating it. You need to once again time it perfectly but you want the boulder to fall on the target:
- Once you have hit the second target the door to the end gate will open but first lets get the chest in this shrine. Use the launcher from the base level and look to the opposite side of the room where you will see another ledge. From the bottom of this ledge you will see the chest hanging from a rope. Use an arrow or float over with your glider to melee the rope releasing the chest into the water below:
- At the bottom use Ultrahand to take the chest out of the water and collect the rewards. Now that you have the chest make your way to the shrine’s exit.
Interact with the green gate at the end of the shrine for 1 Light of Blessing. It will also restore your health and unlocks the shrine as a permanent fast travel point.
