Zelda Tears of the Kingdom – Ijo-o Shrine Walkthrough

Ijo-o Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) is found in Hebra region.

Ijo-o Shrine Location

This shrine is located in West Hebra Sky Archipelago, on the Sky Map.

Ijo-o Shrine Solution

This shrine will test your ability to use shields as a way to maneuver around the environment instead of as a defensive tool.

1. The first thing you are going to want to do is defeat the enemy on the right side of the room and pick up its Flame-Emitter Shield and equip it. Once equipped guard in front of the ice in the doorway to melt the ice.
2. In the next room defeat the enemy to the left with the Stone-Slab Shield.
3. On the opposite side of the room melt the ice block using the Flame-Emitter shield to reveal this shrine’s chest.
4. Grab the Stone-Slab shield off the ground and use it to deflect the fire spewing at you blocking the way. This will allow you to go into the next room without catching fire:
   
5. In the next room defeat the guardian in the center of the room. Next head to the left side of the room and grab one of the Rusty Shields and then use Fuse on one of the rockets to fuse it to your Rusty Shield:
   
6. Go up too the wall opposite the one you entered from and use your shield to have it launch you high up into the air so you can glide back done to reach the shrine gate.

Interact with the green gate at the end of the shrine for 1 Light of Blessing. It will also restore your health and unlocks the shrine as a permanent fast travel point.
