Eldin’s Colossal Fossil is a Side Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Eldin’s Colossal Fossil side mission.
Location: Akkala Highlands
Quest Giver: Loone
Requirement: Having started Main Quest: Regional Phenomena
Reward: 50 Purple Rupees
Quest Info: You met Loone near East Akkala Stable. A lover of all things ancient and their inherent adventurous qualities, she’s on her way to see the fossil of an extinct leviathan in Eldin.
Objectives:
- Met Loon at Eldin’s Fossil
- Repair the fossil
Starting Location: Eldin’s Colossal Fossil
Met Loon at Eldin’s Fossil
After you talked to Loon, she will meet you at the Eldin Fossil. Just follow the quest marker to find her.
Repair the fossil
The fossil is missing an eye, which you need to put in the right eye. You can find the eyeball beneath the fossil and you need one arrow with an attached bomb flower to free it from the stones. To do this press and hold 
then press and hold 
, now select the bomb flowers with the right joy con. Now release , aim at the eye and shoot.
Once the eye is free use the Ultrahand ability to put the eyeball into the eye.
Once you have done this, talk to Loone again.
This finishes Eldin’s Colossal Fossil Side Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
