The Demon Fort of the Yellow Heaven is the 4th main story mission in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. This walkthrough will guide you through all areas of the The Demon Fort of the Yellow Heaven Main Quest.

Ambition of the Tiger
Follow Hong Jing up the cliff and you’ll find the first Battle Flag by the blacksmith. At the blacksmith, you’ll be joining forces with Sun Jian.
Battle Flag 1
Continue up and down the only path and you will soon reach Marking Flag 1.
Continue up the ledges past Marking Flag 1 and you’ll soon be outside where Battle Flag 2 awaits you.
Battle Flag 2
Go downhill, watching out for the guards on the sides of the path. Then, eliminate the Warlocks by the bonfire and open the chest.
Return to the hill you’ve just walked down on and climb up the white-painted wall to reach the rooftops.
From here, proceed to temple’s rooftop and defeat the soldier and the Warlock.
Then, while still on the rooftop, encourage Sun to take care of the Morale Rank 4 enemy near the corrupted Battle Flag, while you take care of the other guards. Once all enemies are done for, interact with Battle Flag 3.
Battle Flag 3
Facing Battle Flag 3, climb up the ledges on the right side to eventually be able to sneak up on an archer.
From the archer’s location, continue along the rooftops until you see two guards on the ground facing each other, one of which wielding an axe. Drop down, eliminate them and then enter the nearby house for Marking Flag 2.
Go back up the rooftops and continue as though you were to go back to the start of the area. You’ll eventually reach a shortcut ladder.
Drop down the ladder and stop for a moment. In front of you, there should be three dogs.
Behind the three dogs, in the furthermost corner is a building with lots of destructible crates inside. Here you can find a Shitieshou.
Return to the shortcut ladder, climb it back up, and drop down to the other side. Now climb up the platform right of the hill going up and continue up a second rooftop for a Golden Cicada Shell.
Now continue along the corrupted path. Here you will find a new enemy type, a Houshu, a porcupine looking demon whose Critical Blow is a roll. Their element is fire, so you can counter it with a water spell if you have one slotted. Continue along the corrupted path and you’ll reach a new large area with a Warlock in the middle tower. First, don’t drop down, but continue around the wooden platforms.
After defeating a Fanatic, you should see a white-painted wall. Climb it up to reach Marking Flag 3.
From here, drop down below for a chest, then continue below to find a courtyard infested with Fanatics.
These shouldn’t pose too much of a problem and, if need be, encourage Sun to take care of some of them. Now have your back at the gate in this area and flank the right side to find another ladder. Climb it up, while trying to not get spotted by the corrupted Changgui.
Dispose of the guard lurking behind the second ladder, then climb it up and make your way towards the Marking Flag that’s on the other side of the area.
You can’t reach it yet, but you can drop down on a corrupted Fanatic down below.
After defeating it, climb up the nearby ladder and double jump to Marking Flag 4.
Climb the same ladder back up and continue along the wooden ramparts and past the bridge. From the end of the bridge, check the small room to your left for a chest. From the bridge, you should be able to shoot the Warlock in the middle tower, thus dispelling the corruption of all the enemies down below.
This will also activate the Battle Flag that’s directly below the bridge. Drop down and raise it.
Battle Flag 4
Rest at the Battle Flag and then start clearing the entire area. Facing the Battle Flag (not the gate), flank the left side and the first opening, turn left again to find Marking Flag 5.
Once you’ve cleared the area, return to the Fanatic courtyard and open up the gate to find some Fanatics and a Suanyu.
After clearing the area you can interact with Battle Flag 5.
Battle Flag 5
Return to Battle Flag 4 and open the gate. Here, defeat the enemies, and grab the Dragon Vein Crystal from the bench in one of the side rooms.
After clearing the area, you’ll be invaded by a red enemy called Zhao Hong. Have your ally take care of most of of the fight while you deal occasional blows. Then, return to Battle Flag 4 and stand between it and the entrance to the area with giant pyre and make your way to the left rooftop by means of the wooden battlements.
Here, go to the back of the rooftop to find a hole you can climb down and reach Marking Flag 6.
Now make your way to the back of the other rooftop to find a cave entrance.
Follow it to Marking Flag 7, the final one for this mission.
Now return to the pyre area and make your way halfway up the stairs. Defeat the Warlock, then check opposite side to find Great Sage Mentor’s Note tablet.
Continue up the stairs to find the final Battle Flag for this mission. However, it’s corrupted, so defeat the enemies, especially the Demonized Officer.
Battle Flag 6 and Zhang Jiao, General of Heaven Boss Fight
From Battle Flag 6, open the door to start the boss fight against Zhang Jiao, General of Heaven. Here’s the strategy: encourage Sun to attack the boss and while he’s at it, you can deal some blows from behind as well as cast some spells. Given that the boss’s main element is Lightning, Water and Earth are good counters. As you lands some strikes, you’ll reach your Spirit meter, allowing you to keep encouraging Sun. You can rinse and repeat this strategy, occasionally deflecting his lightning bolts and Critical Blow attacks. One is a giant spiked projectile, one during which he stomps his stick on the ground and a third one where he tries piercing you with his handle. Keep deflecting to deal massive Spirit damage and don’t forget to perform a Fatal Strike when the lock-on turns red. Quite a doable boss fight as long as you let Sun do most of the job and play defensively to deflect his move set.
