Fall of the Corrupted Eunuch is the 6th main mission in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. This walkthrough will guide you through all areas of the Fall of the Corrupted Eunuch Main Quest.
Recommended Level: 29
Region: Corruption
Requirement: having completed In Search of the Immortal Wizard
Reward: Small Genuine Qi Clot x3, Han Soldier Cap x1, Han Soldier Armor x1, Hundred-Forged Sabres x1, Zhuque’s Jade, Awakening of the Unscrupulous Hero
Walk along the cave halls and you’ll come across a pool of purple-glowing water. This damages your Spirit levels, so try to avoid if possible or quickly step out of it. Jump over the ledges and you’ll reach Battle Flag 1.
Battle Flag 1
From Battle Flag 1, you can ignore the sewer entrance right of the Battle Flag and can drop down to the left. Loot the prison cells and the go down the stairs where you can find a Fanatic and a Demon Spider.
Now continue past the purple pool and immediately to your left is a locked door with the Hermit of Tianzhu. Make a mental note of this door as we’ll need to return here later.
Continue on and enter the prison cell with lots of crates, then drop down the hole in the floor. Kill the Demonized Officer and then vault over the crack in the wall to reach Marking Flag 1.
Exit the prison cell and continue along the wooden walkway.
On the other side of the room, interact with the spear to temporarily increase your Morale Rank and then defeat the patrolling Demonized Officer.
Continue up the wooden path in the same room the Demonized Officer was in and you’ll reach the upper level again.
Unlock the door leading you back to Battle Flag 1 and continue along the prison cells to find a giant Huoshu. Continue along the prison cells and when you reach the lit half of the bridge, head downstairs using the stairs.
Defeat the two Huoshu then enter the prison cell in the corner to find a Golden Cicada Shell.
Opposite the prison cells you can see a Battle Flag, corrupted by the stronger version of a Shuigui down below.
Before dropping down yourself, encourage Cao to battle against the Shuigui moving back and forth. As for you, perform an aerial attack on the stronger version to remove a good chuck of its health. Try not to fight in the purple goo to avoid useless Spirit consumption. Once they’re both dead, interact with Battle Flag 2.
Battle Flag 2
Now face Battle Flag 2 as if you were to return to the beginning of the area and head left. Continue along the prison cells until you can enter one with a hole in the wall.
Vault over this wall, kill the Huoshu and then grab the Prisoner’s Last Words tablet from the same room.
Now return to Battle Flag 2 and face it the same way as before and enter the room on your immediate right to grab Luoyang Dungeon Keys. These keys open all locked doors in the prison.
So, face the Battle Flag the same way again and enter the room on your left, past the ladder. Go around this room to find a door to unlock and find Marking Flag 2.
Exit the prison cell and flank the left side until you reach another locked door behind the big rock. Inside this room you’ll find Dragon Vein Essence.
Now go back up the ladder near Battle Flag 2 and unlock the door you’ll see when reaching the top. Here you’ll find Battle Flag 3.
Battle Flag 3
From Battle Flag 3, go up the stairs. Defeat the Huoshu and then check the right side for a wooden platform. Drop down to the right side to find Marking Flag 3.
From the Marking Flag, make your way to the other side of the prison and get to the topmost level to find the locked door with the Hermit of Tianzhu we mentioned before. Exhaust his dialogues to unlock Dogged Justice. Now you’ll be able to find him in Mt Tianzhushan.
Go back to the Battle Flag 2, climb up the ladder and proceed opposite the bridge for your first boss fight.
Baishe Mid-Boss Fight
Baishe is a serpent demon with huge tentacles all over her body. She uses her tail for a spinning attack which she can chain up to two times and her tentacles for a quick stabbing attacks. Additionally, she likes squirting pools of poison around the room, so try not to step on these. As for the Critical Blow attacks, she either uses her tentacles to grab you or soars mid air to then plunge on you. If she does, you’ll sustain massive damage, so try to deflect them if possible. This fight is not too bad, also because she can take lots of Spirit damage when you counter her Critical Blows, allowing you to perform a damaging Fatal Strike soon enough. After the fight, continue upstairs and you’ll find Battle Flag 4.
Battle Flag 4
Open the door to get outside. Continue along the scripted path to find some purple-glowing pots. These pots drain your Spirit in the same way as the pools in the prison.
Continue on and you’ll find two Ninjas. They’re quick with their attacks, leaving you little room to retaliate but can go down fast when they sustain repeated damage. Open the door to find Battle Flag 5.
Battle Flag 5
From the Battle Flag, go downstairs and immediately left for a side room with a ladder leading you to a room with some loot and two Ninjas.
Now go back to the main room with the purple-glowing pots and empty the room of all enemies, then get upstairs. Once upstairs, go back as if you were to return to the Battle Flag and you’ll eventually find Marking Flag 4.
Now return to the top of the stairs and enter the next room. Immediately, turn right to find a shortcut ladder you can kick down.
Go back inside and get downstairs and clear the entire area. As you progress, check behind the scroll shelves for hiding Ninjas, including an archer on a higher platform. On the other side of this very room is Battle Flag 6.
Battle Flag 6
From Battle Flag 6, go up the stairs to eventually find a small bookcase you can vault over leading you to a room with a ladder and a hole in the ground. In the same room, hidden behind some destructible crates is Magnate’s Note tablet.
Now, climb down the hole and you’ll reach Marking Flag 5.
Now return to the library and enter the outside area with the bridge and shrine.
As soon as you approach the shrine, you’ll be invaded by Xu Xiang. As this is a powerful enemy, try to lure him away from the others for a two-vs-one fight. Once Xu is down, clear the area of the other enemies, including and especially the Demonized Officer which is controlling the corruption. Once all enemies are dead, activate Battle Flag 7 in front of the temple, the final one for this mission.
Battle Flag 7
Before doing anything else, face the Battle Flag and the temple entrance, and head all the way to the right corner of the room to find Dragon Vein Crystal.
Return to the Battle Flag and face it the same way as before and this time head left. If you haven’t yet, kill the Changgui and then climb up the white-painted ledges that are behind him to get to the rooftop.
From here, sprint to the rooftop above the Battle Flag to find a Golden Cicada Shell.
Now sprint back on the same rooftop you used to get to the Golden Cicada Shell and you’ll find a hole in the wall. Here, drop down the shortcut ladder, then climb up the other ladder to get to Marking Flag 6, the final one for this level.
Now return to the Battle Flag and face it again the same way as before. Then, turn around and continue past the bridge to find another white-painted ledge you can climb on. Continue along the roof to find a Shitieshou.
Now return to the Battle Flag to get yourself ready for the boss.
Zhang Rang Boss Fight
Zhang Rang is a human boss fight. In the same room are mobs that look exactly like him, with their own health bar. Don’t target the boss just yet (the one without a health bar above his head). First, clear the room of all clones BUT one. If you eliminate all clones and only leave the real boss, he will summon new clones after a while, making this fight unnecessarily more challenging that it already is. So, when it’s two versus two, focus your efforts on the real one. At this point, you won’t be swarmed by so many clones. Eliminating the clones first is also essential to remove the boss’s buffs (one clone = one buff). This is more of a survivability test. Take your time defeating the mobs as they a deal a ton of damage when they close in on and corner you. The clones go down easily with a heavy strike and they have the same Critical Blow attack as the boss, a charged attack. Deflect it and every possible attack for Spirit damage, including the lightning orbs and trails.
