Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty contains 70 Wizardry Spells. Wizardry Spells in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty temporarily buff your character, weaken enemies or are used for ranged attacks. Each Phase (element) has 14 Spells that can be purchased as you play through the game and level up your character via the Wizardry Points you earn. Purchasing all Spells is required for Wizardry Master.
To use a Spell, you must have reached the Virtue level requirement for that specific Phase and be a specific Morale Rank in mission. For example, if you want to use the Lightning Bolt spell from the Wood Phase, you must have reached level 1 in the Wood Virtue and be at least Morale Rank 3 during a mission. Additionally, each Spell requires a certain amount of Spirit. Usually, the more powerful the Spell, the higher the cost in Spirit. As opposed to the Virtue and Morale Rank requirements, the Spirit casting cost can be decreased as you level up your character’s Metal Virtue. Below is a rundown of all of the Wizardry Spells in the game, including what they do, their corresponding Virtue level and Morale Rank requirements and how much base Spirit they consume. Once you’ve found a build that works for you, use the Set Wizardry Spell submenu from the Wizardry Spell section at any Battle Flag to set those Wizardry Spells that go well with your build, thus empowering you even further.
Wood Phase Spells
- Lighting Bolt: calls down a bolt of lighting on a locked-on target or on a point at a certain distance in from of you.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but we need to be at a certain Virtue level to even buy a certain spell, right? The “ultimate” spell for every phase needs us to be level 40, therefore we must reach at least level 200 to buy all spells.

No, the level you see is for using it, not being able to buy it. You’ll be able to get all spells by level 80.
