In Watch Dogs Legion (WDL) you can turn districts defiant. It’s this game’s version of liberating regions. This guide explains how to do this.
There are 8 boroughs (districts) in total, each of them can be turned defiant: Nine Elms, Lambeth, Southwark, City of Westminster, Camden, City of London, Tower Hamlets, Islington & Hackney.
How to turn Districts Defiant in Watch Dogs Legion:
- Each Borough has 3-4 Borough Activities (Challenges marked by Red Icons). Each one of them decreases the Oppression in the Borough.
- Complete all of the Red Icon Challenges in one Borough to unlock a unique Borough Liberation Mission.
- Complete the Liberation Mission to turn the Borough Defiant (liberating it).
The Borough of Camden is liberated / made defiant automatically during Story Mission “Clarion Call”. It’s one of the first few missions in the game. After this you unlock all the other Oppression-reducing Challenges on the map. You can’t liberate any other boroughs before then.
