Chapter 38: The Island (Seattle Day 3) contains 8 Collectible Locations in The Last of Us 2 (TLOU2). This walkthrough will guide you to all collectibles in The Island Chapter in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included: Artifacts, Journal Entries, Trading Cards, Coins, Safes, Training Manuals, Workbenches, Weapons, Supplements (Player Upgrades), Parts (Weapon Upgrades).
If you forget a Collectible you can still get it via Chapter Select, so nothing is missable.

Coin #1: Idaho
After climbing up the first ladder in this chapter, check the back of the truck on the left. Side Note; if you missed any Training Manuals earlier, one will spawn in here too (but if you already found all Training Manuals it won’t be here).
Artifact #1: WLF Scout Journal + Parts x14
After climbing up the first ladder in this chapter, check the corpse on the right. In the back of the car to the left you can find 14 Parts.
Coin #2: North Carolina
Just about 30 seconds later on the main path. When you see a waterfall, check on the left for a car with the coin on the ground (before dropping down to the waterfall and wading through the water).
Artifact #2: Venison Distribution Note + Supplements x16
Just about 20 seconds after the last collectible you come to a big wooden hut. Artifact is in this big wooden hut on a table (16 Supplements on same table).
Coin #3: Montana
In the first enemy encounter of this chapter there are 5 huts (2 left, 1 right, 2 straight ahead). You can find a coin on the top floor of the 2nd building on the left (the one in front of the sawmill). Climb up via the logs outside or the ladder behind the building. The coin sits on a box by the “window”.
Supplements x19
In the first enemy encounter of this chapter there are 5 huts (2 left, 1 right, 2 straight ahead). This is found in the 1 hut on the right.
Parts x7
In the first enemy encounter of this chapter there are 5 huts (2 left, 1 right, 2 straight ahead). This is found in the 2nd hut on the left (ground floor).
Parts x13
In the first enemy encounter of this chapter there are 5 huts (2 left, 1 right, 2 straight ahead). This is found in the left building of the 2 straight ahead (the sawmill, last building in the area).
Parts x16
After seeing Isaac’s boat in the distance you get attacked by 2 more Scars enemies. In the watchtower where they came from are 16 Parts.
Artifact #3: Mournful Prayer Note
Check the next hut on the right, it has a shrine inside with a note tucked to the right wall.
Artifact #4: Young Seraphite’s Journal + Supplements x17
In the hut on the opposite side, it has a note on the bed and 17 Supplements next to it.
Workbench #1 + Parts x11
In the same hut as the above collectible (also has 11 Parts next to it).
Supplements x23
During the next enemy encounter (corn fields), in the 2nd hut on a table.
Supplements x18
In a hut on the main story path, just after exiting the corn fields enemy area (it’s the next hut you enter automatically after exiting the corn fields). Two pill bottles worth 18 Supplements are on the table here.

I’m not sure if anyone has left this comment before, but the instructions to complete the collectibles list are not very efficient. It is much better to work backwards from the latest chapter to the earliest chapter in order to prevent the auto save reload step which wastes a ton of time. Working backwards from the latest chapter to the earliest chapter keeps chapter select open for all the chapters that haven’t been completed yet.
