Chapter 26: The Forward Base (Seattle Day 1) contains 5 Collectible Locations in The Last of Us 2 (TLOU2). This walkthrough will guide you to all collectibles in The Forward Base Chapter in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included: Artifacts, Journal Entries, Trading Cards, Coins, Safes, Training Manuals, Workbenches, Weapons, Supplements (Player Upgrades), Parts (Weapon Upgrades).
If you forget a Collectible you can still get it via Chapter Select, so nothing is missable.

Video Guide
Coin #1: California
Immediately when the chapter starts, go up the small stairs on the right where 4 soldiers are talking. Behind them is the coin on the floor.
Coin #2: New Mexico
Go through the “Checkpoint” gate into the next area. Immediately turn left where many soldiers are standing in a circle before a white tent. The coin is on a green chest behind this group of soldiers (next to a soldier sitting on a chest).
Workbench #1 + Parts x18
Enter the white tent next to our previous collectible location. There’s a Workbench and 18 Parts inside.
Coin #3: South Carolina
A few minutes later, after the next 2 cutscenes, you’ll enter a building (not the tents). Once inside, turn left to find the coin on a table where two people are sitting.
Artifact #1: WLF Interrogator Letter
In the same room as the last location. From where you entered the room it’s on a cupboard on the right (just before the hallway with prison cells on either side).
That’s 100% of the collectibles you can find in Chapter 26: The Forward Base in The Last of Us Part II.
Chapter 27: The Aquarium does not have any Collectibles (there are 3 text documents around the aquarium you can interact with, but they don’t count as Collectibles and can be skipped). We continue at Chapter 28: Hostile Territory.

There are actually 27 parts in the tent where the workbench is.
Only 18 there for me, I double-checked.

Does anyone know whether the dad note from the Aquarium, that you find on the wall when you enter the big open area with the hanging whale count? I’m guessing not as there’s not any collectibles in that chapter, but I picked it up just in case.
That one isn’t needed. For some reason a few documents don’t count as Collectible (even though they look like any other document). A bit weird how they did that. But no worries, you only need the ones shown in Chapter Select and you’ll be fine. I did point out any additional bonus documents in the text/video guides as well for sake of completion.
The rest of the notes you view, you put back, but the one you pick up on the wall next to “Max’s Place” you keep.
Ah okay, no worries. But strange how they do that, but if it doesn’t matter I’ll just pick it up for a little bit of extra story.
