Introduction
Welcome to The Last Campfire Trophy Guide! The Last Campfire is the story of Ember, a forlorn Hope trapped in a puzzling place, searching for meaning and a way home. As Ember travels through ominous forests, misty bogs, and dark caves, he will have to find and rescue other forlorn Hopes who will join him on his journey to the Last Campfire.
To unlock the Platinum trophy, you have to play through the story in Normal Mode and find and rescue all 22 Hopes in the game. To rescue a Hope, you first need to find it in the world (sometimes by completing another puzzle) and then complete that forlorn Hope’s related puzzle. Finding and completing some of these puzzles can be somewhat challenging, which is why we suggest you check our The Last Campfire – All Puzzle Locations and Solutions Video Guide as you play through the story. It will help you out if you get stuck.
Step 1: Play through the Story while Rescuing all Hopes
For this one and only step, simply play through the story in Normal Mode while rescuing all of the 22 Hopes in the game. Check our The Last Campfire – All Puzzle Locations and Solutions Video Guide as you play through the story to know where to find and how to rescue all 22 Hopes. You need them all to finish the story anyway. The other trophies will come automatically while you get all 22 Hopes.

There are 22 Hopes in total. All of them are story-related, you need them all to advance the story and move to the next region. So by finishing the Story, you will automatically get this trophy.
Each Hope requires you to solve a Puzzle. If you have trouble with any, you can follow along the video below throughout the game, it shows where to find all Hopes and how to solve their Puzzles. It’s worth noting that you can do these in varying order. None of them are missable, because you need them all to advance the story. |
||
Fisherman’s Awakening Wake the Fisherman. |
||
Area: The Forest Immediately after waking the Fisherman up, you’ll be given a dialogue option that allows you to hand him your broken net for him to fix it. When prompted, hand it to him and he’ll fix it for you, thereby unlocking this trophy. For reference, check the video guide above. |
||
Net Whole Mend the net. |
||
Area: The Forest When you reach the Forest’s Campfire, head left. In the new section, grab a stick from the fire. Then, head upstairs, burn the rambles and enter the cave. Here, there’s a broken net by a skeleton. Grab it and then go back to the Campfire. From here, head right and then down the stairs. Now, go all the way to the right and enter the Pond section (where there’s a frog statue). From here, go uphill and then all the way to the left to get to the Fisherman’s area. Approach the Fisherman to activate the puzzle. Solve it to unlock Fisherman’s Awakening, then talk to him. You can hand him your net and he’ll fix it for you, thereby unlocking this trophy. For reference, check the video guide above. |
||
Hungry Frog Feed the Frog. |
||
Area: The Forest For this trophy, you first need to awake the Fisherman ( Fisherman’s Awakening). After doing so, go back to the Campfire and head left to enter the same section with the fire and the gate. South-west from the entrance is a worm. To catch the worm, you have to place the two frog statues on the two holes so that the worm won’t get away from you. Grab the worm and then go back to the Fisherman’s area. Under the Fisherman, by the wooden dock, a giant frog should appear. Talk to the frog and give him the worm to unlock this trophy. For reference, check the video guide above. |
||
Cook’s Awakening Wake the Cook. |
||
Area: The Marsh After feeding the fat pig, follow him to where he rolls and jump on his head to get to the other side. Continue on to your left and you should reach a new area with a gate. Keep going left and you should see a tortoise’s shell under a structure. Approach the tortoise to activate the puzzle. Solve it and you’ll unlock this trophy. For reference, check the video guide above. |
||
Hungry Pig Satiate the Pig’s hunger. |
||
Area: The Marsh At some point, as you make your way through the Marsh, you’ll encounter a huge, fat pig. He wants to be fed. What you need to feed him with are a TV, a juicy fruit, and a skull. When you get to the fat pig’s location, the TV is on your right and the juicy fruit on your left. As for the skull, climb the stairs and follow the path that goes north. In the new area, by the Campfire, is a skull sitting on a rock. Grab it and feed it to the pig. Shortly after the dialogue, the trophy will unlock. For reference, check the video guide above. |
||
Builder’s Awakening Wake the Builder. |
||
Area: The Cave At some point the boat you’ve used to enter the Cave will sink (story-related, cannot be missed). When it does, you’ll automatically be transported to a new area with what looks to be a boiler-looking machine, the Builder. To wake him up, approach him. Now solve the puzzle and this trophy will unlock. |
||
Builder’s Boat Get a new boat. |
||
Area: The Cave Immediately after waking the Builder up ( Builder’s Awakening), he’ll ask you for its metal eye. Follow the path the goes north-east, use the crank to go up and enter the area at whose end you’ll find the metal eye. Go back the way you came from, use the crank to go back down and give the Builder its eye back. To thank you, he’ll craft you a new boat (it doesn’t matter which design you choose). After creating the boat, this trophy will unlock. For reference, check the video guide above. |
||
Snake’s Beacon Light a beacon for the Snake. |
||
Area: The Cave When you enter the right or left part of the cave, a giant snake will ensnare the forlorn Hope found in these two sections. To unlock this trophy, you have to attract the Snake to the beacon orb in either one of these two sections. For reference, check the video guide above. |
||
The Journey Begins Reach the Forest. |
||
Automatic story-related unlock. This trophy will unlock immediately after entering the forest. This will be your first trophy.
This Isn’t Even My Final Form Become whole. |
||
Automatic story-related unlock. When you reach the last campfire in the game, go right through the door and talk to the red-hooded wanderer. After talking to him, you’ll unlock this trophy.
Better Late Than Never Complete the game. |
||
Automatic story-related unlock. This trophy will unlock when the end credits roll. |
Claire says
Hi. Can you tell me how to turn the cubes? After the snake. In the last campfire puzzle. You have to turn cubes with the mirrors on top. With the sunbeam. I can not figure this out. Please help 🙂 Thank you Claire
FranciRoosters says
I’m a bit confused as to which one you’re referring to. Can you tell me the name of the puzzle?
Gnomes03 says
I’m also stuck on Into The Light. It’s one of the final snake forlorns, mirrors you slide around on snakes.
FranciRoosters says
Where exactly are you stuck?
Tanya Geyer says
If its the one without snakes, you have to push the mirrors onto the swinging pathway, then swing it away so it is horizontal on the screen. while in that position you can move the blovk off of the swinging pathway and it will be facing a different direction. keep doing that until you have the mirror facing the way you wish and move them into their places.
Linetto says
The trophy list on psnprofile is different.
Why?
FranciRoosters says
Either trophy list must be the most recent one. However, the one PSNP is not as clear as this one when it comes on the trophies’ requirements, so we decided to keep this version.
Alessio says
There will be a guide for Avengers?
PowerPyx says
Don’t have anything planned for it, all trophies are self-explanatory. Doesn’t look like it needs a guide.
Connor says
What about Tony Hawk?
LegolElf says
There is a glitch with the puzzle block in front of the orchard gate in the marsh area. You can get block stuck between rocks behind the forlorn and can’t reset it, preventing you from getting the forlorn (kindling). It saves the block, so can’t get all trophies without resetting progress and starting over.
Manky says
They have patched this now, my block is finally unstuck 🙂
Garons says
Just one thing, all trophies related to get the Forlorn are misserable if played in Explore mode except the one getting the first.
FranciRoosters says
Thank you very much for this. Guide updated!
Meg says
Hi, is there a way to save game? When you try to exit the game it gives a warning about unsaved progress being lost.
FranciRoosters says
The game saves automatically almost all the time, so don’t worry about it. There’s no other ways to save the game.
Matthew says
How do you get down to the scroll box below the cliff next to the stone gate of statues with the small statue on the block?
The waterfall flows down under the tree trunk that lays across and there are some rocks down towards the scoll box, but I cannot find a way down.
There are also two skulls. One is just sitting near where the pig is sleeping, but there is another skull that you can pickup. I thought maybe I could drop it into the rocks on the river and use it to climb down and get what I think may be the last scroll.
Lastly, I keep trying to give the lotus seeds to the turtle cook, but he just sends me away. What else do I need to do?
Dave says
Just finished this game and by all rights should have gotten the platinum as i had done everything, however, several of the trophies had glitched and not counted. The trophies that glitched were the ones for getting 10 forlorn, the one for getting all the forlorn (the person at the end said i had got them all), the one for getting the fisherman to repair the net, the one for awakening the builder robot and the one for talking to the wanderer. Has anyone else experienced any problems like these?
Joyce says
I’m stuck on what to do after unlocking the big fire at The Marsh. I went through the doors to the top left, the birds caught me and brought me back to the crossroads, and from there I don’t know where to go.
FranciRoosters says
Have you entered the throne room to talk to the big, red bird? He has to give you a gate key to proceed.
SINDOL says
there are developer mode press R1+L1 in same time ( please make a save file in cloud or usb, because is little broken)
E Barrow says
How can I place an object on the feeding block in front of the Hungry Pig, on iOS? If I’m in joystick mode, I just run into the block, and if I’m not in joystick mode, I end up toggling between putting the object down and picking it up.
