Vitalon, Capital of the Empire is the fourth area in The First Berserker: Khazan. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in Vitalon Capital of the Empire in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies & achievements is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected via mission replay as long as you don’t start New Game+ after the credits.
Collectible Overview:
Fall of the Empire (Main Mission)
Soulstone
From the Old Town Blade Nexus, turn around and enter the alleyway on the left (when looking at the elevator). The Soulstone will be at the end of the alley.
Reese 3 (Golden Collectible)
From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you enter a building. Enter the room straight ahead and the collectible will be on the floor.
The Day the Black Moon Rose 3 (Golden Collectible)
From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you reach a courtyard with a bunch of chaos rocks. The collectible will be directly in front of the fountain.
Soulstone
From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you reach a bigger area with more chaos rocks. Turn to your right and enter the little alcove to find the Soulstone.
Ghost Hammer
From the Main Street Blade Nexus, follow the main path until you reach the part of the sewers where you need to drop down. Drop down onto the left platform instead of the right platform, and the collectible will be directly beside you.
Soulstone
Directly after the previous collectible, drop all the way down and the Soulstone will be behind the waterfall.
Mercenary’s Scroll
From the New Town Blade Nexus, drop down through the hole near the elevator and then drop onto the wooden scaffolding ahead of you to find the collectible.
Hismar Transport log
From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you climb up the ladder to the next building. Enter the balcony on your right and the collectible will be there.
Soulstone
From the Church Blade Nexus, the Soulstone will be behind the statue inside the church.
Jarling
From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you reach a bedroom with a hole in the wall leading outside, then break the jar in the top left corner of the room.
Ghost Twin Blades
From the previous collectible, go out the hole in the wall and follow the ledge until you drop down once, then break the loose stones in the wall. The collectible will be in a chest inside.
Soulstone
After opening the shortcut back to the Church Blade Nexus, follow the main path until you can either go forward or up a small flight of stairs. Go up the stairs and the Soulstone is at the top.
Disobedience (Bonus Mission)
Evelyn’s Memoir
From the Destroyed Ramparts Blade Nexus, follow the main path until you’ve reached the second floor of the building. The collectible will be directly ahead of you.
Soulstone
From the Crumbled Residence Blade Nexus, look to your left and you’ll see the Soulstone on top of a ledge. You’ll need to use your Javelin to break it.
Ghost Shield
From the previous collectible, drop down the ledge and after defeating the Elite Enemy, the collectible will be in front of the tent.
Jarling
From the previous collectible, go up the stairs and break the jar near the tree directly ahead of you.
Charon’s Chains (Bonus Mission)
Jarling
From the Where Despair Echoes Blade Nexus, break the nearby jars.
Birth of Evil (Bonus Mission)
Jarling
From the Destroyed Bridge Blade Nexus, follow the main path until right before you have to go down a flight of stairs. Turn to the left and break the jars near the blocked-off door.
Soulstone
From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you can turn to the left and go up some stairs being blocked by a wagon. The Soulstone will be directly on your right after going up.
Ghost Gem / Soulstone
From the Nobles’ Manor Blade Nexus, go up the stairs and the collectible will be in front of the statue. The Soulstone will be behind the pile of furniture.
The Vow (Bonus Mission)
Ghost Spearhead
From the Forbidden Passage Blade Nexus, follow the main path until you drop down to where the Elite Enemy is. The collectible is in the corner of the room.
Soulstone
From the previous collectible, go through the door and attack the wall on the right as soon as you reach the corner of the hallway to reveal a hidden room with the Soulstone.
Ghost Relic
From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you reach a fork, and then turn left. Go down the stairs and attack the false wall, then follow the path to the end and open the chest with the collectible.
Jarling
From the previous collectible, keep following the main path until you reach another fork, and then turn right. As soon as you enter the room, turn to your left and break the pot.
Netherworld Energy Upgrade
From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you reach an open area. Do not drop down yet, and keep following the balcony where the collectible will be at the end.
Hismar Conquest 3 (Golden Collectible)
From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you reach an elevator. Ignore the elevator and go behind it and the collectible will be on the ground.
Hismar Conquest 4 (Golden Collectible)
From the Ruins Bridge Blade Nexus, follow the main path until you reach a giant water cave. Hug the left wall and the collectible will be behind the waterfall.
Soulstone / Devourer’s Scroll
From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you reach the entrance to a building. The Soulstone will be behind the last statue on the right. The scroll be in front of the last statue on the left.
Bloodied Sanctuary (Main Mission)
Soulstone
From the Path to the Temple Blade Nexus, exit into the courtyard and go through the door all the way to the end of the courtyard. The Soulstone will be directly to your right.
Reese 1 (Golden Collectible) / Soulstone
From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you go down an elevator. Continue following the path until you enter a building, and the collectible will be on the altar on the second floor. Afterwards, go outside and go to the left to find the Soulstone at the end of the balcony.
Confessions of Viladus
From the Path to the Chapel Blade Nexus, follow the main path and you’ll come across an Elite Enemy after opening a door. The collectible will be dropped after defeating the Elite Enemy.
Jarling
From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you reach a prison-looking area and open the last door on the right side, then break the top in the top left corner. Be careful of the ambush.
Soulstone
From the Main Entrance of the Temple Blade Nexus, enter the building and enter the hallway on the right. Instantly turn to your right and attack the false wall to reveal a hidden room with the Soulstone inside.
Temple Knight’s Scroll
From the previous collectible, go up the stairs and then turn to your right. The collectible will be in front of the statue.
Earth Disruption Parchment / Reese 2 (Golden Collectible)
After opening the first shortcut back to the Main Entrance of the Temple Blade Nexus, go past the elevator and go down the ladder instead. Go to the other side of the roof and drop down to the left. The collectible will be on top of the roof. Afterwards, go onto the wooden beams and the collectible will be in the center.
Soulstone
Directly after the previous collectible, exit through the hole near the ladder and then walk to the edge of the roof and turn to your left to find the Soulstone.
Wild Ghost Necklace
From the previous collectible, go back up the ladder and then drop down to the next roof towards the tower. The collectible will be inside a chest inside the tower.
Soulstone
From the previous collectible, backtrack and go up the elevator you passed earlier and follow the main path until you can climb up the ladder to the rafters. You’ll see the Soulstone on a ledge on the opposite side of the area you climb up on. You’ll need to use your Javelin to break it.
Master of Chaos (Main Mission)
Soulstone
From the Cathedral Entrance Blade Nexus, follow the main path until you open up the hidden staircase. Go down the stairs and then go to the left. The Soulstone will be at the end of the path.
Soulstone
From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you drop down to the area where you can step on a pressure plate to rotate the area you’re in. Rotate it and exit through the door you came from and the Soulstone will be at the end.
Soulstone
From the Corrupted Lounge Blade Nexus, follow the main path until you’re on the swerving balcony. Look up at one of the pillars and the Soulstone will be on top.
Jarling
From the Imperial Palace Garden Blade Nexus, follow the main path until you go up the flight of stairs, then go onto the right balcony. Head to the end of the balcony and break the jar.
Soulstone
From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you come out of the basement. Enter the room directly ahead and then attack the false wall on the left side of the room, right before the next door. The Soulstone will be inside.
