The First Berserker: Khazan Charnak Mountain Range Collectible Locations

Charnak Mountain Range is the first area in The First Berserker: Khazan. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in Charnak Mountain Range in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies & achievements is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected via mission replay as long as you don’t start New Game+ after the credits.

Banished Hero (Main Mission)

Escort Order

Dropped by the very first enemy encounter.

A Soldier’s Log

From the Frosty Cave Entrance Nexus Blade, follow the path until you reach a big enemy with a Halberd. After defeating him, you can pick up the collectible in front of the altar.

Soulstone

In the same cave, go across the bridge into a more enclosed part of the cave, and once you encounter the 2 enemies there, drop down the hole on the right and follow it to the Soulstone.

 

Soulstone

From the Frosty Cave Exit Nexus Blade, keep following the main path until you reach an open area with a giant yeti. As soon as you reach this area, turn to your left and go up the small hill.

Notes on Yetis

From the Yeti Cave Blade Nexus, follow the main path until you come across a Yeti attacking the soldiers. After clearing them all out, the collectible is on a body near where the archer was.

Bengie’s Tags

From the previous collectible, keep following the main path until you get to the area where you can push down a cart for a shortcut. The collectible is directly beside the cart.

Jarling

(Must complete the Jar Enthusiast Bonus Mission first). Go to the Crash Site spawn and break the pot just ahead of you.

Trials of the Frozen Mountain (Main Mission)

Soulstone

From the Snowfield of Trials Blade Nexus, go into the opened area and once you pass the wooden watchtower on your left, look to your left to find it at the base of the tower.

Soulstone / An Imperial Soldier’s Journal

From the Frozen Lake Blade Nexus keep following the main path. It’ll split off into 2 directions, a cave to the left, and a pathway along the cliff to the right which leads to a giant boar enemy. Enter the cave on the left and there will be an enemy guarding both collectibles.

Soulstone

From the Ice Canyon Blade Nexus, follow the main path until you climb up a tower after crossing the wooden bridge. Once you reach the top, the path will split into 2. Take the left path where it will put you directly above the Blade Nexus and the Soulstone is there.

A Bantu Warrior’s Log

From the previous collectible, follow the other path and the collectible is on the ground the hole in the ground.

A Bantu Prophet’s Log

After the the dual-wield sword trial, cross the wooden bridge and the collectible is on the ground.

Jarling

(Must complete the Jar Enthusiast Bonus Mission first). Go to the Ice Canyon Blade Nexus and break the jar directly ahead of you.

Forgotten Temple (Main Mission)

Vitality Tome

From the Corner Leading to the Abandoned Plains Blade Nexus, go into the open field and go down the right path. At the end of the path is the tome guarded by some enemies.

Soulstone

From the previous collectible, follow the main pathway until you find an enemy with a large weapon. After defeating him the path will split into 2. Take the left pathway and destroy the wooden spikes to get to the Soulstone.

A Grave-Robber’s Memoir

Once you reach the temple doors, the collectible is on a corpse leaning against the pillar.

Soulstone

From the Forgotten Temple Entrance Blade Nexus, go into the temple and once you reach the open room, go into the far right corner and the Soulstone will be behind the pots in the corner.

Netherworld Energy Upgrade

From the previous collectible, go up the giant staircase and instantly take a right. Follow the path to the end and you’ll drop down to an area where you can buy items from the Bard. Go to the other walkway and it’ll be at the end right before dropping back down to where you came form.

Reports on the Dragonkin

From the previous collectible, go all the way up the stairs and then take a left. The collectible will be on a corpse near one of the lever that opens the main door.

A Scout’s Time-Worn Journal

From the previous collectible, keep following the main path until you reach the open area with a bunch of statues. The collectible is in the back left corner.

Hunter’s Scroll / Ghost Gem

Defeat the Elite Enemy encountered on the main path from the Depths of the Forgotten Temple Blade Nexus for the collectible. You can also collect the Ghost Gem in the left corner before going up the stairs.

Soulstone

Just after the previous collectible, turn the statues to move the bridge up so you can get across and you’ll see the Soulstone sitting on a ledge just ahead. You’ll need to use a Javelin in order to break it.

Jarling

(Must complete the Jar Enthusiast Bonus Mission first). Go to the Depths of the Forgotten Temple Blade Nexus and progress until you’ve stopped the second spinning right. Keep going until you reach the stairs that go further down into the level and break the small pot in the area to the left of the stairs.

First Act of Revenge (Main Mission)

Soulstone

From the Cabin on the Hill Blade Nexus, progress down the main path until you reach the part where you have to drop down. Drop down a couple times until you reach a spot with a cave entrance. Be careful of the Crypt Devourer buried in the ground directly in front of the cave entrance. If it grabs you it will throw you off the cliff, killing you. Enter the cave and hug the right wall until you reach a ladder. The Soulstone is at the top.

Soulstone

From the Phraugh Village Dock Blade Nexus, follow the main path until you reach a big door you have to open near the shortcut back to the Blade Nexus. Open the door and instantly turn to your left to find the Soulstone.

Evacuation Order

From the Central Storehouse Entrance Blade Nexus, follow the main path until you drop off a roof into a small part of the village. Go into the only open building and climb up the ladder. Drop down the ledge opposite of you and the collectible will be towards the exit of the building.

Ashen Wolf Scroll / Soulstone

From the previous collectible, go back into the building with the ladder and open the door to where the Elite Enemy is. After defeating the Elite Enemy, the scroll is on the left side of the area. The Soulstone is up the wooden staircase directly ahead of the door you came from.

A Folklorist’s Log

From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you drop into the area with a few wild dogs, directly after the ambush. The collectible is inside the little house where some of the wild dogs came from.

Jarling

(Must complete the Jar Enthusiast Bonus Mission first). Go to the Central Storehouse Entrance Blade Nexus and drop down the ledge that led to the Evacuation Order collectible. As soon as you drop, turn to your right and destroy the small pot.

Jar Enthusiasts (Bonus Mission)

Jarling

From the Jar Observatory Blade Nexus, follow the main path until you reach the bridge. Break the jar that is blocking the bridge.

Jarling

Continue past the previous collectible and once you go down 2 ladders, turn around and enter the building. Break the small pot in the corner.

Soulstone

Directly after the previous collectible, go up the small set of stairs and turn left. The Soulstone is behind the pots.

Jarling

From the previous collectible, keep following the main path until you climb up a ladder. Enter the building on your left and destroy the small pot instantly to your right.

Jarling

Directly after the previous collectible, go into the open area and enter the house on the left. Destroy the jar in the top left corner of the house.

Jarling

Directly after the previous collectible, go back out into the open area and head towards the arched pathway. Destroy the jar directly to the right of it.

Soulstone / Jarling

Directly after the previous collectible, go down the arched pathway and once you reach the door, the Soulstone is behind the tower on the right. Afterwards, destroy the 2 pots on the left side of the big door. Note that collecting this Jarling if you’ve collected them all here already, will teleport you back to the open area you came from, so make sure to get the Soulstone first.

Night of Tragedy (Bonus Mission)

A Boy’s Diary / Soulstone

From the Bhangau Lot Blade Nexus, follow the main path and enter the first house on the right. The collectible is directly in front of the fire. Afterwards, enter the house on the left to find the Soulstone

 

Fire Summon Scroll

Directly from the previous collectible, keep following the path and the scroll will be on the ground once you turn to the right.

Jarling / Soulstone

Directly from the previous collectible, drop down the ledge and break the small pots on the left. Afterwards, face the stairs and you’ll see the Soulstone on a ledge just to the right of the stairs. You’ll need to use your Javelin to break it.

Fallen Guardian’s Scroll

From the previous collectible, keep following the main path until you come across the Renowned Warrior’s Shadow enemy. After passing him, the scroll is directly ahead on the ground.

Strange Stench (Main Mission)

Netherworld Energy Upgrade

From the Collapsed Mine Blade Nexus, climb up the ladder and go across the wooden beams. Once you reach the second tower, climb all the way up the wooden beams again go left once the beams split into 2 ways.

Soulstone

After opening the shortcut to the Collapsed Mine Blade Nexus, progress until you reach the waterfall. Go to the edge of the wooden platform and you’ll see the Soulstone on the rocks behind the waterfall. You’ll need to use your Javelin to break it.

Jarling

From the previous collectible, follow the main path until you reach a big open area the Husk enemies, then break the small pot on the left side of the room, near the giant spider egg.

Ghost Hammer/ Pilgrim’s Scroll

From the previous collectible, progress until you reach the next area with more spider enemies. You’ll see some corpses hanging from the ceiling with glowing red pick-up markers on them. You’ll need to hit the web holding the bodies up with a Javelin to drop them. Make sure you hit the web holding the body and not the body itself as if you hit the body itself, it will destroy the body and leave the item pick-up floating, requiring you to rest at a Blade Nexus to respawn the body to try and get it to drop again.

Poison Disruption Parchment

Shortly after opening the second shortcut back to the Collapsed Mine Blade Nenux, the item will be on a ledge to the right once you reach the edge of the cliff.

Hound Scroll

From the previous collectible, go across the nearby log and defeat the Elite Enemy in the open area.

Soulstone / Partially-Digested Observational Records

From the Poisoned Depths Blade Nexus, go down the ramp and as soon as you reach the bottom, go into the crevice on the right. Afterwards, go onto the small rock platform in the middle of the poison lake.

 

Blacksmith Union Permit

From the previous collectible, continue through the poison lake until you reach the net set of rocks that make a ramp, past the Elite Enemy. Go up the ramp and follow it until you can turn right, and go that way. Once you reach the end, there will be a Crypt Devourer in the ground, so be careful. Near where the Crypt Devourer is, drop down to a little ledge on the right side.

Soulstone

From the Bottom of the Cave Blade Nexus, turn back around and go into the second poison lake. Hug the right wall and the Soulstone will be hidden behind some rocks.

Blacksmith’s Heirloom (Bonus Mission)

Soulstone / Jarling

At the very start of the mission, go past the wooden beams and then turn to your left. Afterwards, go up the hill on the right and break the pot.

Bearius the Spiders’ Nightmare

From the previous collectible, progress until you get ambushed by the Wild Jocko enemies, and the collectible is on a little ledge near the slope they came from.

Soulstone / Torn Transmutation Notes

From the Jocko Hill Blade Nexus, go past the Elite Enemy and go up the wooden stairs to the left. Afterwards, go down the stairs and you’ll see the collectible ahead in a small alcove.
