Introduction
Welcome to the Terminator: Resistance Trophy Guide! This is a stealthy hacky FPS developed by Teyon, taking place in the Terminator universe sometime in the future after the first and second movie, ignoring the timeline of the rest of the series. You play as a Resistance Member trying to reach the main Resistance force, working to stop Skynet in the future from wiping out the remnants of humanity. The game plays somewhat like Metro or Wolfenstein, with crafting and skill upgrades that you gain through levelling. For the platinum you only need to finish the game along with doing some random miscellaneous activites. There’s only 1 missable trophy “No Hope”.
Step 1: Play Through the Story, Making Sure to Level Lockpicking to Level 3 Before or During “Back to Pasadena”
For the most part you can play through the game how you want, the only thing you want to do skill wise is leveling up Lockpicking to maximum as soon as possible. You need Level 3 Lockpicking during the main mission “No Hope” to open a door for a misc trophy. If you weren’t levelling this early you’d potentially get into a situation where you’d need to replay the game to redo your levelling.
Step 2: Complete the Rest of the Story
After that you just need to complete the rest of the story, doing the one other side mission required for a trophy. Then otherwise you can complete as little or as much of the side requirements as you wish.
Step 3: Reload Chapter Saves to clean up Trophies
If you didn’t complete all trophies during your playthrough you can now use the individual chapter saves the game makes to clean up anything else you might have missed prior. Aside from “No Hope” all of the miscellaneous requirements can be cleanup up fairly quickly in one or two chapters each.

You’re missing the second note in the game. Even before entering the building to follow the objective during Rules of Survival, there is another garage door you can crouch under in the upper left corner of the map (with resources inside). Crouch and enter the next room and there’s a note called “Stranger Danger”. I believe it is technically the first note you can get in the game.
Asturgis says
EDIT: technically the upper right corner when looking at the actual map, sorry (North, North-East). Garage door is next to a white van, to the left of the objective “Enter the building”. You need to crouch inside then crouch again through a duct to get to the side room. More resources inside.
PowerPyx says
For the trophy you only need 10 notes, there are more than that and it doesn’t matter which you get 🙂
So this isn’t required.

I beat the game and maxed out lock picking skill so I went back to do clean up trophies, like no hope trophy but sadly to say it put me back at level 2 for skill. This walkthrough wasn’t very useful to me at all !!!
Gage says
Guide says right at the top you can’t do No Hope in chapter select for that reason.

Im Stuck on the last level any advice
Dmclark46 says
Can no hope be done in chapter select? Have got skill rank three, just missed this door / trophy and left that mission area
Gage says
No, because you need to be Lockpick rank 3 during that mission to open the door. When you reload the chapter saves it gives you the stats you had for that save when you started the mission the first time. If you reload that save and are able to level Lockpick to 3 before completing the mission then you can do it.
Dmclark46 says
Thanks for reply. Luckily i could unlock that skill during replay of that mission, so just got the platinum =) thanks again. Dmclark46

says DLC …WHAT DLC??

I would personally give one advice. For the No Hope quest, you need to be lockpicking 3 and level 12 (which unlocks lockpicking 3(!)). Now having a point ready is not the hard part but when I got to the mission I was not level12 and I did all the side stuff, killed every enemy and opened most of the stuff available.
So I would highly suggest to drop your first skill point into lockpicking and the next one into the 10% gain or vice versa. Getting the 10% that early should do the deal easily. I did not do that and was only around level 11.5 by the time I reached the mission.
If you are already at Back to Pasadena then it might still be worth to drop a skill point or two into exp perks (after all it ll be your only chance besides playing the whole game again…) and then wipe the whole area, lockpick every stuff, do all the sidequests first and if you just miss a tiny bit you can try crafting as last resort.
BodyChipper says
Playing this way late, but my suggestion for the no hope trophy is to 1) make sure you do every side quest prior to this mission. You have to do 5 for the trophy anyway. 2) Put your very first point into Learning level 1 to get 10% more XP. Then when you hit level 6 (I think) you can unlock and add to Learning level 2 for 20%. Do that as well. The more XP you earn the closer you will be to level 12 before this mission even starts. I had no problem unlocking Lockpick level 3 and doing this when the mission started this way.
Kev says
This tip worked great for me – i was Lockpick 3 and level 12 before starting the mission.
LHammonds says
The new Infiltrator Mode now as a new achievement called “Back to the past” which requires you to find all 3 secrets in the infiltrator mode. I have not found them but thought I’d mention it.
Brad says
I think the lock pick and note trophies are glitching on the PS5 version. I have way over 10 each and no trophies. The activity cards still say 1 of 10. ?
Jord says
Wow, I Thought I was tripping ive got 11 notes and hacked/lock picked more. Than the required but the trophies just don’t progress at all
Andy says
Defo not working on the PS5. I have the same problem.
moneymk33 says
Is this still glitching? I just started playing and want to see if I should expect it? Thanks.
moneymk33 says
I just got easy money on PS5. I have not gotten enough notes yet.
moneymk33 says
Historian just popped for me. Seems to be good now.
The Doom Chick says
The I’ll Be Back trophy is not popping up for me after completing the game. Do you know why this is? I am playing the Remastered version on the PS5.
The Doom Chick says
Never mind. I had to load a previous game save and played through the final mission again and the trophy popped up in the end.
Fildy says
I don‘t get the trophy: „Turn Up the Radio“ … (PS5) ??
Ynnmth says
Damn it “ Turn Up the Radio” and “ Fool Me Once…” won’t pop up on PS5 !!
What’s going on ?
Ynnmth says
Ok i had to close completely the game and reload the checkpoints
moneymk33 says
I just beat the game. Second Generation did not pop for me. I’m playing ps5 version. Also the infiltrator mode is part of the enhanced platinum, its not optional. Any advice on the Second Generation trophy? I did the tank mission as it’s story related.
moneymk33 says
Also I don’t see an option for chapter load either…though at this point doubt I want to play that mission again.
Alexander says
I don’t get the efficient killer or it’s a bird trophies
