Tales of Kenzera: Zau Ikakaramba Collectible Locations

Ikakaramba contains 6 Collectible Locations in Tales of Kenzera: Zau. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in the Ikakaramba Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.

When you first visit the area in the story, you may still be missing the unlockable Ability needed to reach some collectibles. This walkthrough is intended for use during the story. Only some collectibles require specific Abilities. Return to these once you have them.

Collectibles Overview:

Tales of Kenzera: Zau Collectible Guide

#1 – Echo 1 (A Rain Dancer): shortly after meeting Liyana, you’ll come across some sort of a well with a bamboo roof. Drop down and all the way down and to the right to find this Echo.

#2 – Echo 2 (The Path of the Shaman): quite a while later, after collecting the two keys that restore the waterworks, you’re supposed to go left as per main quest marker on the map. Instead, go right where you can unlock the Akida Spear ability. After unlocking it, proceed through the main path until the game tells you “Activate 1 Target to unlock the gate”. The target in question is hidden off-screen in a narrow crack on the ceiling that must be hit with your newfound ability. Then, drop down the activated trapdoor to find this Echo.

#3 – Echo 3 (The Land of Mighty Promise): after reuniting with Liyana and riding the elevator up, you’ll eventually get to a cave where you have to freeze a waterfall to wall-jump forward. When you reach the top where you can find a single flying bat, wait for the waterfall to unfreeze and then dash through it and to the left to find this Echo.

#4 – Reflection: continue along the path and you’ll eventually come across a Workbench. Continue past it and defeat the enemies. Shortly after the enemies you’ll be able to spot two collapsible purple platforms you can use to reach a hidden location above you where you can find this Reflection.

#5 – Echo 4 (Unfurling the Wings): after defeating Impundulu, use the nearest fast travel point to warp to the start of Ikakaramba. Climb the nearest wooden scaffold and you’ll see a new waterfall you can freeze on your right. Freeze the next stream of water as soon as you see it, then immediately turn around to find a spear target behind you. Hit it and then use the purple collapsible platform further on along the same stream to reach an area with this Echo.

#6 – Trinket (Vigorous Spirit): can only be completed after obtaining the Akida Spear ability. After doing so, fast travel back to the area and head all the way to the Mines where you can find two switches for the Akida Spear ability that open up a door close to the start of the platforming challenge. Continue on and complete it to collect this Trinket.
