Tales of Arise How to Redeem Deluxe & Ultimate Edition DLC

September 8, 2021 by PowerPyx Leave a Comment

In Tales of Arise your DLC items must be redeemed in-game in the settings menu. Depending on which version of the game you buy it will come with some pre-installed DLC items. The Deluxe & Ultimate Edition include permanent XP boosters and certain “cheat” items that make the game easier (such as crafting requiring only 1 material instead of the full cost, or cooked meal effects lasting longer). The Premium DLCs also come with many crafting and cooking ingredients, extra money, skill points, extra outfits, and bonus skills panels with new attacks.

How to Redeem DLC

  1. Start a New Game or load your existing Save Game
  2. Open Pause Menu > System > Unclaimed DLC Items
  3. Click on the desired DLC pack and either accept the DLC items individually one by one, or press Triangle/Y to redeem all at once

Overview of DLC

The most important DLCs are “Premium Travel Pack” and “Premium Item Pack” which include all the non-cosmetical boosters and save you a lot of time. Everything else is just cosmetical outfits.

Deluxe Edition

  • Tales of Arise
  • Premium Travel Pack
  • Adventurer’s Pack
  • Premium Item Pack
  • Premium Costume Pack
  • Pre-Order Bonus Pack

Ultimate Edition

  • Tales of Arise
  • Premium Travel Pack
  • Adventurer’s Pack
  • Premium Item Pack
  • Premium Costume Pack
  • Collaboration Costume Pack
  • 18 additional costumes
  • Pre-Order Bonus Pack

Standard Edition (Pre-Orders only):

  • Pre-Order Bonus Pack

It’s worth noting that you can redeem the DLC again on older save games where you hadn’t redeemed it yet, or when starting a New Game. So it’s not just one-time use. The boosters are all permanent too and not time limited. They go in your “Artifacts” menu section. Costumes can be changed in the Outfits menu.
