Stray Chapter 2 Collectibles Locations

July 19, 2022 by PowerPyx 12 Comments

Stray Chapter 2 contains 2 Collectible Locations. This walkthrough will guide you to all collectibles in Chapter 2 in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included: B-12 Memories, Badges, Scratch Points, Nuzzles, Sheet Music, Energy Drinks.

None of the Collectibles are missable. You can still get everything via Chapter Select after the story. The amount of collected Memories can be tracked in the Chapter Select screen. In Chapter 3 you unlock the Inventory to track collected Sheet Music and Energy Drinks. The Badges will show as stickers on your cat’s backpack. Check the sides of the backpack carefully to see them, each has a unique design to differentiate them. The Nuzzles and Scratch Points can’t be tracked anywhere so pay special attention to them. You only need to scratch one single interactable object per chapter such as trees, carpets or walls. If there are multiple you can ignore the additional ones. If you restart a checkpoint or die grab the items again to make sure they count.

  • Memories: 0
  • Badges: 0
  • Scratching Points: 1
  • Nuzzles: 0
  • Sheet Music: 0
  • Energy Drinks: 0

Chapter 2: Dead City

#1 – Scratch #2
After dropping a blue paint bucket down onto a window, that window will shatter and you can jump through it (can’t miss it, story-related path). Then you enter an apartment with a bunk bed and two carpets on the floor. You can scratch either of the carpets (I scratched both to be safe).

#2 – Trophy: Can’t Cat-ch Me
After finding a dying robot you will be chased by little bugs with yellow glowing eyes. You must finish the chase without any of the bugs ever latching on to you. If it shows the :circle: / :b: prompt to shake them off you failed! If any bug ever latches on to you, restart the checkpoint to repeat. The chase takes roughly 1 minute. If done correctly the trophy will unlock when jumping through the window at the end of the chase. The easiest tactic is to always run zig-zag. Keep tilting the left stick to the left and to the right at all times. Because you keep changing your direction while zig-zagging you’re much harder to hit. It’s one of the more tricky trophies in the game. Just keep restarting the checkpoint until you succeed. If you don’t want to deal with this on the first playthrough you can still do it via Chapter Select after the story. Additionally, you can farm the trophy :bronze: No More Lives here for dying 9 times, but it can also be done at any other enemy group.

That’s everything in Chapter 2.

If you pick a missed collectible, in the chapter selection and then quit? The game save the collectible or not? ?

The Can’t Cat-ch Me trophy can jump off a bridge. Almost 2 hours in and still haven’t got the damn thing. I got close a few times but it seems so RNG dependent.

Try hugging the walls or running into them on parts where you get nabbed the most.. It often works to disrupt their jump arc or something

This is the worst trophy ever.

No, you have to make it to a checkpoint. It needs to autosave. If it doesn’t save, no progress.

The game is great…but this trophy is a POS.
I am no one to give up easily.
I can grind for hours for a trophy.
But this one is way to much based on luck and coincidence.

Its not that hard. Just move left or right everytime an enemy is jumping at you. Seems like you try to run left and right like maniacs and call it “luck based” then. If you do it like that it will be luck based. Just avoid them.

You can’t see when they jump, so he has right, it’s luck based! even in video you can see, it’s not calculated1

Everyone talking about how hard this trophy is, honestly took me like 6-8 tries.

Took about 20 mins for that Can’t Cat-ch Me trophy and while it was frustrating it was kinda euphoric and made me realise how great games are.

Just run straight and zig zag when you meet a cluster of Zurks. A lot of RNG for sure, but you’ll get there

This achievement is one of the most frustrating ones. The Zurks leap are so random and unbelievable at times.
