Stray has 67 Collectible Locations. This collectibles guide shows all locations in chronological order for 100% game completion and all trophies and achievements.
- 27 B-12 Memories
- 6 Badges
- 12 Scratch Points (only 1 per Chapter needed)
- 10 Nuzzles (only 5 needed for trophies, exclusive to Chapters 4 & 10)
- 8 Sheet Music (exclusive to Chapter 4)
- 4 Energy Drinks (exclusive to Chapter 4)
Chapter-specific Trophies and Story Progression Items are also included in this guide, these account for an additional 21 items. By following this guide you will get 100% completion and all possible trophies in one playthrough. After this you only need to do the 2 hour speedrun for the Platinum Trophy and sleep for 1 Hour.
None of the Collectibles are missable. You can still get all of them after the Story through Chapter Select. There are 12 Chapters total. In Chapter Select you can see how many Memories you discovered in each Chapter and how many you are still missing. From your inventory, which unlocks in Chapter 3 by pressing D-Pad Up, you can also track your collected B-12 Memories, Sheet Music, Energy Drinks. The Badges are stickers on the side of the cat’s backpack, the first of which can be unlocked in Chapter 4. The badges have unique designs so you can tell them apart to narrow down which ones you’re missing. For Nuzzles and Scratch Points there’s no way to track them. However, you only need 5 Nuzzles and there are 10 and it even counts if you do the same Nuzzles again in Chapter Select. The one you want to pay extra special attention to is using at least 1 Scratch Point in each chapter. These are trees and carpets, you can interact with them by pressing / and must then scratch with / and then manually end scratching the object, the animation doesn’t end automatically. Scratching for 1-2 seconds is good enough. You only need to scratch one single interactable object per chapter. If a chapter has multiple you don’t need to scratch each one. The majority of Collectibles are in Chapters 4 & 10. Other Chapters have fewer items to collect.
If you die or restart checkpoints make sure to pick up the Collectibles again, especially the Scratch Points. You can expect your 100% completion collectible playthrough to take roughly 4-6 hours if it’s your first playthrough and you follow this guide. If you already know the game really well it’s possible to combine all collectibles with the 2 hour speedrun (it can be done in about 1h 55 minutes with all collectibles on a perfect run). This is good to know if you want to platinum the game multiple times in the PS4 version and PS5 version.

amidamaru says
can i scratch and leave the chapter or does it only count if i play the chapter to the end?
andrix says
Using level select I quit the levels once I’d passed a check point (you can check to see how long since you passed one of the pause menu) and it worked doing the clean up that way
mark says
I tried this, and you have to complete the chapter or it won’t add to your memory bank
paymentplan says
From what I can tell the game logs the collectibles the next time you get a checkpoint where the little logo appears in the bottom left. Or at least that’s how it logs the other kinds of collectibles. Not sure if the scratches are different or not. I’m still trying to unlock the Territory trophy myself, so I’ll let you know if I find out for sure.
Tim Myers says
I missed the one in The Sewers and got it after the game. Trophy popped right after scratching it, so assuming no.
Anton Kaye says
It only counts if it auto saves. So you scratch, then need to do something to trigger an auto save, then you can back out to chapter select.
Dave D says
Does anyone know if you can get a collectible (like a memory) via chapter select and then save quit to the main menu right after and go onto the next chapter?
Jongo says
You need to reach a checkpoint for the memory to count
Mdhaze says
You’ll have to get to a auto-save point and once it saves you can quit to the main menu. I went back to a chapter and found five memories and then quit immediately and lost them all because I didn’t get to an auto-save point.
