Stellar Blade Trophy Roadmap
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 3/10 on Story Mode – 5/10 on Normal Mode
- Approximate amount of time to platinum: 40-50 Hours
- Offline Trophies: 43 (1, 3, 12, 27)
- Online Trophies: 0
- Number of missable trophies: Technically all the trophies are missable, except automatic story-related ones. There are 2 Points of No Return that will gradually lock you out of content and trophies. The first one is after finishing the area “Abyss Levoire” and locks you out of all side quests and all the collectibles in Xion City. The second one is after finishing the area “Spire 4” just before heading to the final area of the game, once you go there you cannot leave. Because of this, it’s recommended to do everything before each point of no return or make a PS+ Cloud Save so you can redownload it to clean up afterward. You can start a New Game+ file after beating the game to clean up anything you missed, everything will transfer.
- Glitched trophies: 0
- Does difficulty affect trophies?: No, you can complete the platinum on Easy difficulty (‘Story Mode’)
- Hardest Trophy: Cost of Lost Memories
- Minimum Playthroughs: 2 Playthroughs (Or 3 playthroughs if you end up dying to the final boss on both playthroughs, without having a PS+ Cloud Save)
- PS4/PS5 Autopop & Save Transfer: No, the game doesn’t have a PS4 version
- PS4/PS5 Crossbuy: No, the game doesn’t have a PS4 version
- Free-Roam / Level Select after Story?: No, there’s no free-roam or mission replay after the story. You’ll be stuck in the last area once you enter it.
- Supports Manual Saves?: No Manual Saves, only 1 Autosave
- Release Date: April 26, 2024
Introduction
Welcome to the Stellar Blade Trophy Guide! The platinum requires 2 playthroughs because 2 of the endings cannot be earned on the same playthrough as both of them are linked to Lily’s progress bar that sometimes appears when picking up collectibles and when finishing certain side quests/main missions:
One of them requires you to 100% complete Lily’s progress bar, and the other requires it to NOT be at 100%. These cancel out each other, you can only do one per playthrough. Thankfully, you can finish the other ending you don’t get in New Game+. It’s highly recommended to go for the “Making New Memories” path on your first playthrough as that’s the ending that requires you to 100% Lily’s progress bar, so you’ll be able to enjoy all side content the game has to offer. Then clean up the “Cost of Lost Memories” ending in New Game+. While you don’t lose any of the Data Bank entries, Lily’s progress bar will reset to 0% in New Game+ and all collectibles will respawn in the world.
Step 1: Play Until Finishing the area “Abyss Levoire”
After you finish the area called “Abyss Levoire“, you’ll be at the first Point of No Return. Progressing past this point will lock you out of a lot of content, so you’ll want to make sure you’ve completed everything before talking to Adam to progress to the next area. It’s best you follow the Stellar Blade Collectible Guide along the way which includes everything you need for trophies.
At minimum you should have the following completed before the first Point of No Return:
- Side Quests – You’ll want to finish all the side quests as there are a lot of trophies and collectibles linked to them. You’ll still be able to do requests that you accept from the bulletin board, except for Requests taking place in Xion (they become missable).
- Xion Collectibles – Make sure you’ve got all the collectibles located in Xion as you’ll lose access to the city section of Xion. You’ll only be able to explore the Safehouse and the path leading to the Wasteland.
Once you’ve completed all the side quests and at least collected everything in Xion, you’re safe to progress to the next area.
Step 2: Play Until Finishing the area “Spire 4”
After you finish the area called “Spire 4“, you’ll be at the second Point of No Return. Progressing past this point will lock you out of every area in the game, so you’ll want to make sure everything is done before you talk to Lily to progress to the last area.
- Bulletin Board Requests – Finish all the requests as a good number of them are linked to trophies and collectibles.
- Collectibles – You’ll want to make sure you’ve got all the collectible related trophies other than Naytiba Researcher, which should be at 63/67, and Meticulous Explorer, which should be at 87/89. You will get the last of the Camps and Naytiba Data in the final area of the game, with 3 of the Naytiba Data being locked behind the Return to the Colony ending. You should have every other collectible trophy before moving on to the final area.
- All combat-related trophies – Make sure you have every single combat-related trophy before going into the last area as there will be no enemies other than the bosses you need to fight.
Once everything is finished, it’s highly recommended to make a PS+ Cloud Save to get both endings here as if you die on either of the final bosses, you won’t be able to reload your save before the final choice of the game to get the opposite ending. If you beat the boss first try however, you can reload your save and make the other choice without using a PS+ Cloud Save. Once you’re ready, you can talk to Lily to head to the last area of the game. After getting either Making New Memories, or Return to the Colony, reload your save or download your PS+ Cloud Save and pick the opposite choice.
Step 3: New Game+ Playthrough and Clean Up
You can now start a New Game+ file and rush through the game to unlock gold: Cost of Lost Memories ending, as well as Return to the Colony if you didn’t get it during your first playthrough. You’ll want to avoid picking up any collectibles and avoid doing any side quests to make sure the Lily progress bar stays below 100%. If you went straight to Spire 4 and skipped Eidos 9, then you know you’re on the correct path.

Thorough Technician Learned all skills. |
||
There are a total of 96 skills to unlock in the game. To unlock skills, you’ll need to get SP from defeating enemies, completing quests, and other side activities. You can increase the amount of SP you earn by equipping Training Gear items. You should be able to get all skills before you finish the story as long as you’ve been doing all side quests and defeated all the enemies you come across.
If you still need SP by the end of the game, there is a great place in Spire 4 to grind. From the camp in the Space Center, head into the next room and go through the giant door on the left. There will be a bunch of droid and tentacle enemies here for you to defeat. You can then go rest at the camp to instantly respawn them to continue grinding until you got all the SP you need. The New Game+ skills are not needed for this trophy, only the skills from first playthrough are necessary. The 12 New Game+ skills have their own DLC trophy. |
||
Beyond Fate Completed Enya and Su’s story. |
||
There are a total of 3 side quests in Enya and Su’s storyline that you’ll need to complete.
|
||
Sisterly Love Completed Kaya’s story. |
||
There are a total of 2 side quest in Kaya’s storyline that you’ll need to complete.
|
||
Beep! Completed D1G-g2r’s story. |
||
There are a total of 2 side quests in D1G-g2r’s storyline that you’ll need to complete.
|
||
Battlefield Martial Artist Perfect Dodged 200 enemy attacks. |
||
You’ll first need to get the skill Perfect Dodge in the Survival tree for 1 SP. You can then press when you’re about to get hit to do a perfect dodge. You’ll know you did a perfect dodge when the game slows down slightly and there are a bunch of red particles. If you’re struggling to do a perfect dodge, you can get the skill Reflex Boost in the Survival tree for 2 SP which increases the perfect dodge window, as well as getting the Reflex-Type Exospine in Matrix 11 which will further increase the perfect dodge window. You can also set the difficulty to Story Mode which will give you Action Assist, it will sometimes slow down the gameplay and tell you to dodge.
Blink and Repulse dodges don’t count towards the trophy, only perfect dodges do. |
||
Agile Gladiator Perfect Parried 300 enemy attacks. |
||
To parry an enemy, you need to press as you’re about to get hit. You’ll know you pulled off a successful parry because you’ll deflect the attack and take 0 damage. If you’re struggling to parry, you can get the skill Focus Boost in the Survival tree for 2 SP which increases the parry window, as well as getting the Reflex-Type Exospine in Matrix 11, which will further increase the parry window. You can also set the difficulty to Story Mode which will give you Action Assist, it will sometimes slow down the gameplay and tell you to parry.
Silent Executioner Defeated 50 enemies by execution. |
||
You’ll first need to get the Ambush skill in the Attack tree for 1 SP. You can then run up behind an enemy and press to instantly kill them. You can also do this from above, which you can do by default, but Ambushing is a lot easier and you’ll use it more frequently.
Naytiba Hunter Defeated 100 enemies with Beta Skills. |
||
To use a Beta skill, you need to hold and then press any of the 4 face buttons. Some of them you’ll need to unlock through the skill tree, and some you’ll have unlocked by default. Beta skills are one of your main sources of attacks for a majority of the game, so this should come naturally.
Relentless Destroyer Defeated 50 enemies with Burst Skills. |
||
Burst skills are unlocked after you defeat the Stalker in Matrix 11 and can be used by hold and then pressing any of the 4 face buttons. You’ll need to unlock all of them through the skill tree, as you won’t have any unlocked by default. Burst skills are just like Beta skills, but take longer to build up their gauge and do more damage. Burst skills are extremely useful, especially for crowd control when you’re getting attacked by multiple enemies, so this should come naturally.
Revenging Agent Defeated 50 enemies in Tachy Mode. |
||
Tachy mode is unlocked after you defeat the unmissable story boss “Tachy” in Matrix 11, after reaching the Contaminated Water Purification Plant.
Then Tachy Mode can be used by pressing + which will put you in a sort of rage mode where you don’t take damage and can just unleash a bunch of attacks. Every time you get hit, it will drain more of the gauge, so you’ll still want to try and avoid damage. In order to build up the Tachy gauge, you’ll need to defeat enemies. Use it against 50 regular enemies as they die extremely fast from this. |
||
Cold-blooded Sniper Defeated 150 enemies with ranged attacks. |
||
You’ll unlock ranged attacks right before you head to the Wasteland. Both Altess Levoire and Abyss Levoire disable the use of your sword, so the only way for you to defeat enemies is with your ranged attacks. Because of this, this trophy should come naturally.
Cruel Liberator Defeated 1,500 enemies. |
||
You’ll be defeating tons of enemies throughout your journey, so defeating 1500 enemies should come naturally. |
New Game+ DLC Trophy Guide
Repeating Protocols Completed New Game +. |
||
After finishing the first playthrough, you will unlock New Game+. Simply play through the story again in this mode. Can be done on the lowest difficulty. You can also skip cutscenes in NG+ to speed it up.
Infinite Blade Learned all skills in New Game +. |
||
New Game+ adds 12 new skills that you must acquire for this trophy.
Beta Tree:
Burst Tree:
All cost 6 SP for 72 SP total. You can respec Attack tree, Survival Tree, and Tachy Tree to get 59 SP, meaning you’ll need an extra 13 SP. You can’t reset the Burst or Beta trees as the NG+ skills are locked at the end of each branch for those skills. |

Thanks so much for the guide. Looking forward to playing tomorrow.
Finch says
It looks quite easy! Thanks a lot guys!
Purple Gamer says
Hi thanks for guide for that game. I understand on endings trophies but how hard is Story difficultly?
ObsiEez says
Story mode is pretty easy overall. You do more damage, take less damage, & during the bigger combos give you free parry/dodges as it will slow down time and basically give you a quick time event to ensure you parry/dodge in time.
Purple Gamer says
That great ObsiEz, I m glad it was pretty easy. Understand about combos and parry / dodge. I don’t like too hard like some other Souls-like games or highest difficulty in other games that give you lot of stress and getting annoyed. ??? I can’t wait to play it tomorrow at 12am in morning when game launches.
Anonymous says
Thank you for the trophy guide. I’m glad that the Platinum trophy difficulty is reasonable and that New Game Plus is available at launch, but needing PS Plus to use the cloud save to unlock 1 of the 3 endings is disappointing (if only we could use a manual save in the game or Sony just allowed us to copy PS5 saves to a USB, like we can with PS4 saves).
ObsiEez says
I haven’t finished NG+ myself just yet, but apparently according to another person who helped with the guide, when he reloaded his NG+ save he could redo the ending choice without having to save scum. This may also be the case for NG after the reason patch, but I don’t have a save in order to test that at the moment.
AquilaHeart says
wait so u can technically get 2 endings on a single playthrough? there’s 3 endings which requires vastly different choices so wouldn’t be 3 playthroughs instead of 2?
ObsiEez says
You can get the Colony ending, & either Cost of Lost Memories or Making New Memories in a single playthrough. At the end of the game you get 2 choices. One will always be the colony ending, and depending on the progress you have on Lily’s bare (either 100% or not 100%), your second choice will either be Cost of Lost Memories or Making New Memories. You can save scum to get both choices and then on NG+ grab the other one.
B says
Can you play ng+ twice?
ObsiEez says
Yes, you can replay NG+ as many times as you like.
Andor says
If i don’t have a PS+ subscription, will i have to beat the game 3 times?
ObsiEez says
According to another person who helped on the guide (can’t confirm myself just yet), in NG+ he was able to make both choices without having to save scum as reloading the save put him before the choice again
Bersi says
Thanks for the guide – looks fairly straight forward and interesting 🙂
One question: Finishing Abyss Levoire and Spire 4 means it is already to late, right? Is there a clear signature dialogue that can be identified as “if I choose this I will move on and be locked out”? Maybe it is faily obvious, just wanted to be sure.
Thanks in advance!
ObsiEez says
No, you can finish both Abyss Levoire and Spire 4. Progressing past those points means you cannot go back. The first point of no return has a very obvious warning where it tells you that it’s a point of no return. The second one isn’t as obvious. Once you’re back at the Safehouse in Xion after finishing Spire 4, progressing to the next area from that point means you cannot go back.
Miles says
Great guide as always! Can we leave some collectibles and side quests and save before getting the Cost of Lost Memories ending and then reload to get all collectibles to achieve Making New Memories and Return to the Colony?
ObsiEez says
While technically yes, it’s honestly just faster & way more of a convivence to do it in a second playthrough on NG+ since not only will you get the DLC trophies. You basically need to avoid collecting stuff & not do any side quests as a lot of them will make progress on that bar along with the main story. Without doing anything & just progressing the story, you’ll be around 50% of that bar if I’m remembering correctly. So overall it really isn’t recommended with the addition of NG+. You can take this path if you want, but you’ll probably just spend more time doing that than just doing NG+
Bunkerbudy says
Yeah I figure somebody will come up with a specific point to where to make a backup so you can get to the end with for example 98% and then just reload do the last 2% and do it again. But in al fairness if you want to go for the 100% as wel, you will need to do 2 anyway. So I’m not going to be bothered with it …
Tama says
Missable? Ugh zat jist gonna meiku mii wanna chekku everywhere -.-

Thx for another awesome guide
Oliver says
Great work!! And a day early. Nice work.
L0rdAceX says
I want to do my first run fairly blind; do collectibles carry over in NG+ runs?
ObsiEez says
You’ll still have all the data bank entries, but all collectible respawn. We all had the trophy by the time NG+ came out so we could test it for 100%, but I think it’d be safe to assume that yes, your progress towards the trophy will carry over since the data bank entries are still there
PhantomFear94 says
Thanks for the guide! What was your opinion of the game?
ObsiEez says
Personally I absolutely loved the game & thought it was extremely fun
King Amanj says
i’m still not sure why “Cost of Lost Memories Trophy” listed as Hardest Trophy in the game
ObsiEez says
All the trophies are extremely easy to get it that ending can easily be locked out if you do too many side quests, or collect to many collectibles. So it was really the only one that made sense to put there
BasketCase9483 says
How can we start a new game plus playthrough when the game doesn’t have new game plus yet?
ObsiEez says
NG+ was added with a patch yesterday
aqz says
So, for the point of no returns,
Do i have to *not complete the “Abbyss Levoire” area to be able to get the missables? Or after I complete that area then i can still do the missable stuff?
Like; do i have to do it before finishing the area, or after i finish the area and then the *next area is when if i go into it it will lock me out?
Thanks
ObsiEez says
You can complete Abyss Levoire. It’s just after that you can’t progress any further. When you talk to Adam from this point he’ll ask if you’re ready to go to the next area and you need to tell him no. All the collectibles and side quests (minus what’s in Abyss Levoire of course), is available before you do Abyss Levoire so if you’re scared you’ll accidently fat finger going to the next area when you talk to Adam, you can do everything before completing Abyss Levoire
Ramzamham says
Awesome work as always! How would you rate it to NieR Replicant/automata??
ObsiEez says
I personally haven’t played Replicant, but I honestly think it’s better than Automata. The story isn’t as good, but it is better in every other aspect in my personal opinion
Stos says
How long do you think until we get a collectible video guide?
Joshua says
Great guide as always.
Are you doing sandland?
Thanks
Gabriel says
Now that they put tons of new costumes in NG+ and also increased the gear level cap for the NG+, do you think it would be better to do the all collectibles run on the first run or the NG+ run?
FYI, the NG+ gear level cap increases:
Weapon – 15 -> 40
Body – 6 -> 9
Beta – 6 -> 9
Tumbler – 5 -> 13
ObsiEez says
At that point, you can choose whichever you like, though I’d personally do 100% on the first playthrough, & then speedrun the second. The NG+ outfits (I haven’t confirmed personally yet), I believe you’ll only get if you’ve collected the outfit that’s suppose to be there already in NG.
Vince says
Thanks for the guide! How easy or hard is it to get all the collectibles without a guide? There’s an enormous amount of collectibles so I’m curious if the game does a good job of tracking them by region or if I should really follow the collectible guide step by step? Also how long does it take to get the NG+ skills (dlc trophy)?
ObsiEez says
As long as you spam the touch pad to scan, you should find a vast majority of the collectibles on your own. The only things tracked by area are Passcodes & Memory Sticks. Though some of the Xion passcodes are found outside of Xion. The rest of the collectibles are tracked by type, (like Cans, Fish, Documents, etc.) or not tracked at all (Camps, boxes). As for the NG+ skills, you can respec the other 3 skill trees (Not Beta or Bust) to get a vast majority of the SP needed if you’ve already maxed all those. You’ll also get a lot of SP just speedrunning through NG.
George says
Are collectibles, upgrades, side quests, etc marked on the map?
ObsiEez says
Only side quests are marked on the map
Tom says
Thanks for the guide Powerpyx.
Do you guys, working on sandland trophy guide ? Tks
Bryan says
Why don’t you guys upload collectible videos anymore? Using text guides are a pain especially when there’s almost 1,000 collectibles.
ObsiEez says
With nearly 1000 collectibles, it’s mostly easier to follow in text form since it doesn’t have you rewatching, rewinding, or fast forwarding through sections which would usually add more time to your collectible hunt
Potrikberger says
I only ever want text guides. Just text always, never ever ever vids. Down with video guides, down with them I say!
ABS says
Do you reckon it is possible to use PS Plus cloud to save scum the Cost of Lost Memories ending to save the need for the majority of a second playthrough? Kind of like how you could skip subsequent playthroughs in Bloodborne by reloading a back up cloud PS+ save.
e.g. If I made a back up cloud save before being locked out of requirements for Cost of Lost Memories and then just redownloaded to the PS5 console and played the story through to credits without doing any side quests/collectibles.
ABS says
Never mind I just saw there’s NG+ related trophies anyway so there’s probably no point!
ObsiEez says
No, you can’t earn Cost of Lost Memories & Making New Memories on the same playthrough unless you go out of your way to play for it by avoiding a vast majority of content. & at that point it’s just faster to speedrun through NG+, which will also net you the 100%
zulqarmessi says
Once again masterpiece guide by Powerpyx and his team ??
God bless you guys ?
I just started and i am following it step by step and enjoying it a lot.
I have one question guys…..
How to increase the capacity of Rechargeable tumbler, is there any skill associated with it ???????
ObsiEez says
It’s linked to the Tumbler Expansion Module collectibles that are dropped by the little robot enemies
JhOnNY_HD says
You can do a 100% ending first.
And No 100% and No Hand in NG+ with backup?
ObsiEez says
I’ve now tested it, you can do 100% ending first, & in NG+ you can get both endings without needing to save scum as it will put you before the ending choice instead of after. With the newest patch it might do that for NG as well, but I haven’t got to test that personally & only had my save that was after the choice
Huy says
Is there anyway to make a save ? I don’t have a PS+, hope you answer this. BTW great trophy guide as always. Thanks for your hard-working.
ObsiEez says
There isn’t a way to make a save, but NG+ will put you before the choice when beating the game, meaning you can get the last 2 endings (Either Making New Memories or Cost of Lost Memories depending which you did in the first playthrough), then the other ending.
Huy says
thanks for helping.
DVFOX says
So from the comments ya wrote here, let me get this straight because i’m confused. The actual steps would be
1.Finish the game with 100% and choose one option
2.Whenever you start NG+ the options will appear again and choose the other one then the game starts from zero, then do the game without doing sidequests, etc?… It’s confusing me A LOT
ObsiEez says
Exactly the steps you just listed. On NG+ don’t pick up any collectibles, don’t do any side quests & you’ll be good
CarrieAnnie says
Now that NG+ has been added is it better to do the first run blind and the get all the collectibles and side quests for the second run?
ObsiEez says
At that point, it’s up to you. Granted you’ll be skipping a vast majority of content in your first playthrough, so I personally recommend the 100% playthrough first that way you can speedrun your second playthrough, instead of trying to speedrun your first playthrough
Jason says
One of the passcodes fell into a rock and is stuck there after dropping from one of the little robots. I’ve tried leaving the area and coming back and it’s just stuck. Will this one passcode hinder my 100% trophy or will I have to get it on NG+?
ObsiEez says
Where is the passcode exactly, so I know which one it is? For the most part, probably not. You may miss a few collectibles but overall it shouldn’t be an issue.
Jason says
Thanks for the comment. It was Passcode – μλκιαβ in the wastelands. The little robot on top of the rock with the 2 turrets. The passcode fell into that rock
ObsiEez says
Oh you’re fine then if you can’t manage to pick that one up. It’s for the box inside the blue monorail car that’s nearby where you find it. The only thing in the crate if I remember correctly is ammo. There are way more crates than you need for the trophy, as well as Documents/Memory Sticks/Passcodes, so you’ll be fine
Tama says
Where’s The Item doesnt appear on Request Bord an alredy pass Abyss Levoire Geimu izu buggy mii Deluxe didnt even appear till exit to Mein Menu then gou back into Geimu -.-
ObsiEez says
Some requests don’t appear until finishing specific side quests or other requests. So keep doing all Side Quests & Requests that appear & it’ll eventually appear

Quick question: If I missed a can in Xion can I collect it in NG+ or will I need to collect 49 again?
ObsiEez says
No, you won’t need to collect all 49 cans again. You can collect just the one you missed
Srad77 says
Great guide thanks! I think for me Sisterly Love trophy is bugged. I finished The Scavenger’s Story after talking to Kaya, but I can’t seem to activate the Encounter mission (I’ve already defeated Alpha Naytiba in Matrix 11). Currently just sitting before the 1st point of no return not knowing what to do, since if I go up the Orbit Elevator it will lock me out of Xion ?
ObsiEez says
What is your affinity level with her? Trying leveling up her affinity and see what happens
Dreyra says
It happened to me, you need to increase the affinity with her to level 2, just buy some things 🙂
Legendarygamer-1337 says
in case you haven’t figured it out yet lvl kaya to lvl 2 and it should trigger the next quest
Darkeyser66 says
Someone have log data #10 and message #2? I miss it and can’t found with this guide, I need the names
Legendarygamer-1337 says
when i reload my ng+ file i dont get a ending choice when i reload that file. What have i missed in the guide?( my latest ending was Cost of Lost Memories.)
ObsiEez says
That’s weird. Both myself & another author never had an issue reloading our NG+ file and putting us before the choice
BlackRamsis says
if you die at the last fight the choice is saved and you need to get backup from Cloud
Tim says
This guide have many mistakes! Also next time tell us WHEN you have to speak to the girl for the hidden area! I can’t access the area now.
ObsiEez says
What are examples of some of these mistakes? I can’t improve anything if you don’t give me examples. Also, what hidden area are you referring too? Eidos 9? It’s already mentioned several times you need the progress bar to be at 100% before progressing to the area after finishing Abyss Levoire
Rolec says
Is the naytiva reasrrcher trophy bugged? I completed the game killing all enemies but it still says I’m at 64/67
ObsiEez says
No. The last 3 Naytiba’s are linked to the Colony ending. So as long as you’re 64/67 before that ending, that means you got them all and just need to do that ending
Darkeyser66 says
last 4 get in 1 ending
Chris says
Hey just to make sure because the guide says after abyss you get locked out of xion.
But box 10 in the collectible guide says the passcode is in great desert which comes later. Am i not get locked out of obtaining the box then?
Chris says
Nevermind im dumb. I mixed up abyss with altess.
Shabyoob says
Hey Obsi!
Thanks for the guide!
I am trying to plan my playthrough, I am aiming to get the platinum and 100% everything in the game, this includes the NG+ costumes, upgrades and everything!
What’s the best way to do this in 2 playthroughs? Do I need to maybe create a back up save once my lily bar is 99% and then rush the game for that ending and then reload back for the 100% ending? Then do the 2nd 100% ng+ ending? Not sure…
ObsiEez says
If you’re trying to get 100% in everything in the game you’ll need a total of 3 playthroughs since you can’t get all the NG+ Weapon Upgrades in a single playthrough (Since the cap is raised from 15 to 40). So you can do your regular NG playthrough going for Making New Memories ending (the 100%). You can also reload & get the Return to the Colony ending as well. Then do your second playthrough speedrunning to get the Cost of Lost Memories ending (the non-100%). Then finally on your 3rd playthrough you can go down the Making New Memories ending again so you can grab the stuff in Eidos 9 again as well. While doing all your playthroughs, you’ll want to grab all the upgrade materials again, as well as every Nano Suit as most of them have a NG+ variant
Shabyoob says
I see, thank you very much!
Manghero says
I have questions bro.
I stuck in Step 2: Play Until Finishing the area “Spire 4” . when i finsih Spire 4. i find all Can , Camp and all collectibles. Every thing is okay but Last Can “Moonwell” at Spire 4 is problem. Lift at Raphael Space Center cannot use again. so i cannot comeback to Maintenance Sector that have my last Can. And I hop so Camp No. 86 ,87 of my collectible is not around here too.
Thank you for you guide, bro. if you have any way how to fix this problem please tell me.
Thank again.
ObsiEez says
You can also fish the Moonwell can out of the Oasis in the Great Desert using Strange Bait if you missed it.
Manghero says
Okay It find The last Can in Oasis and find the 2 last Camp in Eidos 9 at monorail . Thank you. I really happy that I don’t forgot any Camp that can’t comeback.
Thank you again, Bro
D says
Are you required to get every single collectible for the Platinum or can you miss some?
ObsiEez says
You can miss a few collectibles from a majority of the categories minus the ones that specifically stat to collect them all, such as Camps, Naytiba Data, and Cans for example
Michi_eu_pl says
If I don’t upgrade my health and beta to full on my first playthrough, can I do it as part of New Game Plus?
ObsiEez says
Yes
KadajUsman says
Do I really have to get all the combat related trophies before the 2nd point of no return? Wouldn’t it just be easier to progressively go for them and finish them in NG+? Does the progress not carry over or something?
ObsiEez says
You can do those in NG+ if you wish as the progress will transfer over. That section was written before NG+ was added so it hasn’t been updated (forgot to update it honestly). I can update it now to reflect on continuing it into NG+
SerahsArmpit says
Is NG+ harder/different or the same as NG?
ObsiEez says
Combat wise, it’s the exact same. There are some new cosmetics as well as MK2 variants of gear and Exospines however
Shounra says
Hello I have a problem with the naytibas trophy I do have the 67 naytibas in the bank of data but on the linked trophy he tells me that he is missing 2
ObsiEez says
That’s a bit weird & haven’t seen a report for this yet. So you see all 11 Minions, all 37 Warriors, all 10 Elites, all 6 Alphas, and all 3 Elder entries?
Srad77 says
Yes seems like a bug. A lot of people are reporting on Reddit having 67/67 in bank but trophy not popping up
Joseph Marques says
My experience about the final choice (after patch):
1) in NG, Making New Memories: during the fight (Providence) I died a few times. When loading the save after ending, there is no choice, go straight to the fight.
2) NG+, Return to the Colony: I killed Elder Naytiba without dying, when loading the save after ending, it was possible to make the choice again.
3) NG+ (after loading the save), Cost of Lost Memories: I died during the final fight (Providence). When loading the save after ending, the fight continues, there is no choice.
I don’t know if dying during fight overwrites save.
SolidW says
Hi, After the ‘Making New Memories’ and credits, reloading the game puts me after the choice and before the ”mech” fight, so obviously can not get 2 ending trophies on one playthrough without some cloud save scumming, but that requires PS+, which I don’t have.
So on NG+ I want to get the ‘Cost of Lost Memories’… and by reading everything and the comments, is it certain that after getting that ending, and after credits, when I reload the game it will put me before that choice and I cant refuse to take his hand to get the ‘Return to the Colony’ ending?
ObsiEez says
Judging from what people have commented on now, if you die during the fight it’ll put you after the choice when you reload, so the guide will be updated to reflect this. If you don’t have PS+, you’ll have to make sure you don’t die
aqz says
the camps progress transfers from NG to NG+ too
so u can have 88/89 camps in NG0 and then in NG+ u get just that last one, u’ll get the trophy
JustAGuest says
I finished the game yesterday. What is written in step 2 did not work for me, I was not able to reload my save before the decision.
Did you guys finish the end boss first try? I died a couple of times, maybe that could be the reason? Since I respawned in camp it saved after the decision? Or maybe I did interact with a device in the camp and it saved because of that?
ObsiEez says
Yes, I finished the boss fights first try. There are multiple reports of this now so it seems like you’re correct that it makes a new save if you die or interact with the camp again after the choice is made, meaning you can’t reload before the choice. I’ll update the guide to reflect this
Sidney says
For the ending trophies in step 2, it says you can get either and then reload to get the other. But when I did Return to the Colony as my first choice, selecting continue put me at the mid boss checkpoint and not before the choice. I had to download a backup save from the cloud (from before going to the final area) in order to make the other choice and get Making New Memories.
I checked after that ending, and continue did put me back before the choice that time. So I’d recommend doing that ending first for simplicity.
ObsiEez says
If you die to any of the bosses it’ll activate a new checkpoint after the choice. You need to beat the boss first try in order to just regularly reload, which is why it’s still recommended to have a cloud save
HolaHola says
Is there a reason all the 3 endings can’t be completed in 1 playthrough + a partial playthrough, without having to go for a full NG+?
What if I do a cloud save BEFORE Lily’s progress bar is at 100%, and after this finish the progress bar and the playthrough for the Making New Memories ending.
After that reloading the cloud save from before reaching 100% with Lily and continuing from this point, and then making another cloud save before the end choice for both Cost of Lost Memories and Return to the Colony endings.
To sum it up:
1st playthrough + cloud save somewhere before 100% with Lily + finishing the game 100% with Lily
->
After finishing 1st playthrough with 100%, reloading the cloud save, not picking anything up to keep Lily below 100%
->
New cloud save before final choice, to get both remaining endings
I’m wondering if doing it this way would work?? possibly eliminating the need for NG+??
ObsiEez says
Yes it is possible, but completely pointless as it’ll take just as long setting all that up as just doing a regular NG+ playthrough since you can skip most cutscenes, as well as clean up anything you missed during your first playthrough & get the DLC trophies.
Charizard says
Thank you ObsiEez for taking the time to make this guide.
I have one question regarding the trophy for enhancing HP to maximum.
If I missed a couple of Body Cores (Max HP) during my first playthrough, on New Game + will I need to find the exact Body Cores I missed or will they all be reset allowing me to pick up any of the same ones I did on my first playthrough for a second time?
I am currently just before the 2nd point of no return and am trying to decide if it would be easier to pick them up on New Game+ as I have no idea which ones I missed and it would take a while to go through each location one by one.
Hope that makes sense and thanks for your help!
ObsiEez says
You should be able to just pick up any of the Body Cores again & continue upgrading from there
Ghost says
I played NG+, and all collectibles (boxes/cores/cans) will reset, so you don’t have to worry about which one you missed. The nano suits you picked in NG+ will change their colors if you collect them in NG.
After you get the Body and Beta trophy, you can keep upgrading until it reaches maximum It will take 5 cores to upgrade in the end.
Andii says
Hi quick question. I have done two endings in the first play through and am now doing a NG+ run to get the cost of lost memories trophy, so I have to keep Lily’s progress bar under 100%.
Am I still okay to pick up the body/beta upgrades and any outfits? I will not be doing any side quests, or picking up documents/memory sticks (Unless needed for pass codes to progress). Also, are random boxes okay to still pick up? I don’t know how Lily’s progress bar works.
Thanks.
ObsiEez says
You’re still safe to pick up everything except certain Documents & Memory Sticks (best just to avoid them all), as well as completing certain side quest (again, best to just avoid them all). Picking up new outfits, boxes, & any upgrade material is still fine.
Yes, you’ll get that ending as long as you’re under 100% in the progress bar, which if you avoid all Documents & Memory Sticks, as well as side quests, you won’t ever reach 100%
Vince says
Thank you so much for this guide and the hard work put into it! I got the platinum, the collectible guide was so helpful and well made given the enormous amount of collectibles in the game.
Abo says
Great guide Thanks man Q plz u said (Once everything is finished, it’s highly recommended to make a PS+ Cloud Save to get both endings here as if you die on either of the final bosses, you won’t be able to reload your save before the final choice of the game to get the opposite ending. If you beat the boss first try however, you can reload your save and make the other choice without using a PS+ Cloud Save. Once you’re ready)
I didn’t understand this part can u explain more plz? does dyeing change anything? or killing him from the first try?
ObsiEez says
When you die to the boss, it’ll send you back to the camp & make a new autosave, which will overwrite the previous autosave before the final choice, so when you reload that save it’ll put you after making the ending choice. If you don’t die to the boss & beat it first try, the game will never create a new autosave, meaning the last autosave will be before the final choice, letting you pick the other option
Catiusmoth says
Hi there, thx so much for the guide!
Quick question, not sure if this has been tested.
Is it possible to go to Eidos 9, grab the outfits and then teleport out and head to Spire 4? Didn’t think of testing this on NG I’m sorry!
Im currently on NG+ to get the Cost of Lost Memories ending, and I was wondering if one can get Lily to 100% again, accept to go to eidos 9, grab the outfits and then just not complete her quest there (getting to the hideout) and just teleport out and head to Spire 4?
Or do I really need a 3rd playthrough to grab those outfit variants ?
Thx again!
ObsiEez says
Once you have Lily’s bar maxed, you’re railroaded into going to Eidos 9 & can’t go to Spire 4 until it’s finished. So if you do really want the outfit variants in Eidos 9, yes, you’d need a 3rd playthrough
VaryagUA says
Well, seems like I made a bad decision, trophy-wise. Should have looked into the guide earlier. So, I visited Eidos-9 during my playthrough and then chose not to take a hand. Got Return to Colony trophy, but no Memories trophy. Then started NG+ and decided to check the guide. So I screwed up and now need to do all the sides/collectibles again for Eidos-9 and Making new Memories, right?..
ObsiEez says
Yes. This also means you’d either need a 3rd playthrough to finish off Cost of Lost Memories, or avoid progressing Lily’s bar & create a PS+ Cloud Save once you reach the first point of no return, so you only need to do half a 3rd playthrough
Killbomb says
Naytiba Researcher is glitched at the moment if you don’t kill certain enemies in NG as killing them in NG+ doesn’t count towards the trophy. The relevant enemies are Behemoth (personal experience), Brute and Cocoon (PSNProfiles thread).
BlueYukiao says
Sisterly Love can get bugged for some people. I am not sure the exact steps to reproduce but it seems that leaving the Behemoth arena without interacting with Kara can cause her to be… un-interact-able-with when you try to come back afterward.
Sophie says
I have gotten the trophy for 200 data/memory stick. And my bar is at 100% with lily. I am about to continue onto abyss Levoire now. So now when following the collectible guide, I can just skip over the documents and sticks? And can I also ignore side quests and requests that aren’t mentioned in the collectible guide?
ObsiEez says
It’s not recommended to skip out of Side Quests & Requests simply because some of them unlock more, & they’re all pretty quick to do anyway. But yes, you can skip picking up Memory Sticks/Documents that aren’t directly linked to the story from that point.
Tyler says
Is there any type of warning when you hit a point of no return?
ObsiEez says
Only for the first one. You’ll get a warning saying that Side Quests will become unavailable & you’ll be limited on areas you can explore, so this one becomes obvious. The second one however gives you no warning so it’s very easy to mess up & progress past it.
Huy says
I messed up. I’ve finished with 100% Lily’s progress bar but I chose “Do not take Adam’s hand” so now in NG+ I have to do it all over again in order to get 100% Lily’s progress bar once again, right ?
Ice says
Just made the same mistake…any update?
Bili says
Thanks for the guide!
Do boxes count to the 100% completion required for the “good” ending? Or just with documents and memory sticks is enough?
Exploiter says
I’ve got 100% according to the guide in Xion and did not have any open side quests. I then also got to go to Eidos 9.
Do I understand that correctly that I have Lilly’s progress bar at 100% because I went to Eidos 9 prior to Spire 4 even though I have not yet collected everything in the Great Desert, Wasteland etc?
And is it correct I do NOT need to collect all crates, documents, memory sticks etc but only enough for the collectible trophies? Or do I need everything for being able to achieve the good ending or for another trophy?
