Steelrising has 35 Module Key Locations. Module Keys are needed to upgrade your Module Slots. There are 4 Slots in total. You need to upgrade all 4 Slots to Stage 3 for the Technician trophy and achievement. The first Slot is unlocked automatically through the Story, to unlock the other Slots you need one Module Key for each Slot (3 Keys in total). You can upgrade each Slot two times. For the first upgrade in each Slot, you need three Keys (12 Keys in total). For the second upgrade in each Slot, you need five Keys (20 Keys in total). This means to upgrade all four Slots to Stage 3 you need 35 Keys.
Les Invalides (first story-related visit)
Module Key 1: After you defeated the Unstable Lightning Ram and traveled to Paris you will come across this Vestal. You can’t miss it. The Module Key costs 2000 Anima Essence.
Module Key 2: During the Main Quest “The Master of the Machines” you’ll come across this well. You can’t miss it. Behind it is a house and in the corner, you can already see the Module Key.
Module Key 3: During the Main Quest “The Master of the Machines” you will reach Esplanade des Invalides, jump down and turn around, the Key is waiting for you right there.
Module Key 4: This Key is behind Eugènes Workshop in Les Invalides inside the Factories. You will come here automatically during the Main Quest”The Master of the Machines”. Follow the Path and instead of going the Story Path you have to go to the Top Floor in the second Building, the Key is waiting for you right there.
Module Key 5: You will get this Key after defeating the Unstable Forger. You can’t miss him because you will get here during the Story. After defeating him you can pick up the Key from his body.
La Cité
Module Key 6: During the Main Quest “In search of Abbé Grégoire” you will have to get through this window, you can’t miss it. The chest with the Key is below this window.
Module Key 7: You will come along this broken bridge during Main Quest “In search of Abbé Grégoire”. You can’t miss it. The Module Key costs 2000 Anima Essence.
Module Key 8: You’ll pass a broken bridge during Main Quest “In search of Abbé Grégoire”. You can’t miss it. Once you passed the bridge don’t go upstairs, instead defeat this enemy under the bridge. The chest with the Key is right behind him.
Module Key 9: Shortly after the broken bridge during Main Quest “In search of Abbé Grégoire” you will come across this Unstable Automat. You can’t miss it. You can pick up the Module Key from his body after defeating him.
Module Key 10: You will meet this during the Story. You can’t miss him. You can pick up the Module Key from his body after defeating him.
Module Key 11: After defeating the Bishop of the Cité, you will reach this place. Use your new ability to climb up the building. The Key is in a chest up there.
The Tuileries
Module Key 12: After you reached The Tuileries you have to walk through a garden. At the end of the garden, you have the option to turn right and exit the garden or to turn left to find a chest with the Key.
Module Key 13: At the end of the garden, which you have to pass for the Story, you will see this Vestal. You can buy the Key for 2000 Anima Essence.
Module Key 14: During Main Quest “Troubled waters” you will come across this Unstable Automat. You can’t miss it. You can pick up the Module Key from his body after defeating him.
Module Key 15: You will come across this Titan during Main Quest “Troubled waters”. You can’t miss it. You can pick up the Module Key from his body after defeating him.
Luxembourg
Module Key 16: During the Main Quest “The Shadows of Luxembourg” you will come across this Vestal. You can’t miss it. You can buy the Module Key for 2000 Anima Essence.
Module Key 17: Inside the Luxembourg Gardens you will come across this Unstable Automat during the Main Quest “The Shadows of Luxembourg”. You can’t miss it. You can pick up the Module Key from his body after defeating him.
Module Key 18: At the end of the Luxembourg Gardens you are supposed to jump into the window but to get the Key you have to take the path to the right and follow it until the end. You can pick up the Module Key from the body on the ground.
Module Key 19: You will come across this Titan during Main Quest “The Shadows of Luxembourg”. You can’t miss it. You can pick up the Module Key from his body after defeating him.
Les Invalides (second story-related visit)
Module Key 20: You will come across this area during Main Quest “To Les Invalides!”. You can’t miss it. You are supposed to go through the gate in front of you, but instead, turn to your left and go behind the church to find an Unstable Automat. Kill it and you can pick up the Module Key from his body after defeating him.
Module Key 21: You will come across this area during Main Quest “To Les Invalides!”. You can’t miss it. You are supposed to go to the right but instead break through the wall. Swing yourself into the house, you can pick up the Module Key in front of you.
Module Key 22: You will come across this Titan during Main Quest “To Les Invalides!”. You can’t miss it. You can pick up the Module Key from his body after defeating him.
Montmartre
Module Key 23: During the Main Quest “The Recluse of the Abyss” you will reach this Vestal. You can’t miss it. You can buy the Module Key for 2000 Anima Essence.
Module Key 24: You will come across this Unstable Automat during the Main Quest “The Recluse of the Abyss”. You can’t miss it. You can pick up the Module Key from his body after defeating him.
Module Key 25: At the end of the Main Quest “The Recluse of the Abyss” you will come across this Titan. You can’t miss it. You can pick up the Module Key from his body after defeating him.
The Bastille
Module Key 26: During the Main Quest “The Prisoner in the Bastille” you will climb up to the rooftops of some houses. You can’t miss this part. When you reach the rooftop, you are supposed to go straight forward, but instead, turn to the right after reaching the rooftop. You can pick up the Module Key from the ground.
Module Key 27: You will come across this Unstable Automat during the Main Quest “The Prisoner in the Bastille”. You can’t miss it. You can pick up the Module Key from his body after defeating him.
Module Key 28: Before you enter the fortress during Main Quest “The Prisoner in the Bastille” you will walk through the moat, at the end, you have to choose where to get up. You can’t miss it. Choose the left side. You can pick up the Module Key from the chest in front of you.
Module Key 29: You will come across this Titan during Main Quest “The Prisoner in the Bastille”. You can’t miss it. You can pick up the Module Key from his body after defeating him.
Saint-Cloud
Module Key 30: During the Side Quest “In Memory of the Dauphin” you will find this Unstable Automat. You can’t miss it because he is in front of the Side Mission’s objective. You can pick up the Module Key from his body after defeating him.
Module Key 31: Near the end of the Side Quest “In Memory of the Dauphin” you will reach a big area called “The Grandes Nappes” between the stairs leading to the Boss fight you will find the Key on the ground guarded by an enemy.
Module Key 32: Near the end of the Side Quest “In Memory of the Dauphin” you will reach a big house, you will find the Key in front of the house on the ground guarded by an enemy.
Versailles
Module Key 33: During the Main Quest “Checkmate” you will come across this Vestal. You can’t miss it. You can buy the Key for 2000 Anima Essence.
Module Key 34: You will come across this Unstable Automat during the final Main Quest “Checkmate”. You can’t miss it. You can pick up the Module Key from his body after defeating him.
Module Key 35: After a little coliseum at the end of the final Main Quest “Checkmate” you will reach a crossing. You are supposed to go to the right but instead, go to the left. You can’t miss this spot. You can pick up the Module Key from the ground.
That’s all of the Module Keys in Steelrising. After upgrading all Module Slots you unlock the Technician trophy or achievement.
