Starfield Where to Find Ship Inventory Cargo Hold

In Starfield your spaceship has its own inventory, also called the Cargo Hold. The game never properly explains how to access it, there’s only an activity for it in the quest log that introduces you to it.

Here’s where to find the Ship Inventory in Starfield:

1. Enter your Spaceship and go to the Pilot Seat (if you are sitting in the Pilot Seat hold Xbox: B / PC: E to stand up).
2. Check the walls near the Pilot Seat in the Cockpit. One of the walls will have a panel you can interact with, this has your ship’s inventory. The exact location varies from ship to ship.
   
3. At the panel press X / R to open the Ship Inventory and transfer items. Press LB / Q to switch between your inventory and the Cargo Hold.

That’s all there is to using the Ship’s Inventory. Remember you can use the Ship Customization at Service Technicians (found at the landing pad of all major cities) to add bigger Cargo Holds. You can also add Shielded Cargo Holds for a chance of Contraband not being picked up by scanners.
