Starting side missions (side-ops) and finding their locations can be a bit confusing in Sniper Ghost Warrior 3. After doing enough main missions in a region (Mining Town / Village / Dam), so called “Resistance Operatives” will be unlocked. The resistance operatives give you the first side mission for that region. All the follow-up quests will be send to the laptop in your safe house automatically. However, different quest lines will require you to find another Resistance Operative and accept the quest from them.
Operatives are marked on the map via an exclamation point but are very hard to see. The exclamation point is colored white and the operatives are often in buildings, which are also white on the map. As a result of this poor game design the icons are very hard to see.
There are 3 side missions in Mining Town, 3 in Village, 10 in Dam. This makes a total of 16 side missions in the entire game.

Mining Town:
- Rotki Lions I (Act 1)
The starting point of this mission will become available as you play through the main missions of Act 1.

This side mission unlocks in Act 3. Go to the marker shown below.

Sent automatically to your laptop after Loose Ends IV.
- Opium Wars I (Act 3)

I’ve finished loose ends all the way up to 4 but 5 wasn’t sent to my laptop after 4 was completed.
I am having a similar issue. I see multiple Mission Unlockers (!) In my map. But when it travel to them, they just disappear.

I have the same isuues. I had to redo a whole new playthrough to get the village ones to work but dam is stilleluding me. Anyone sorted this yet ?

Right I’m having problems with the layer everytime I don’t hit the heavy gunner I get kicked out with a error code then it takes me back to main menu
is there a way to replay the missions without starting from scratch ?
I have done 11 out of 16 side missions. I’m about to complete the last main mission. Where are the other five side missions??? I see mission unlocks but after a long loading screen they are MISSING.
‘Clear Out’ never appeared in my journal and I’m on act 4. Also, Loose ends V never became available after I finished Loose Ends IV in act 4.
Not sure what to do. If it’s a glitch, does Xbox remember what side missions I completed before? Or I’d have to do everything again.
