Saints and Sinners is a DLC Side Case in Sherlock Holmes Chapter One. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Saints and Sinners side quest.
Starting Borough: Miner’s End
Starting Location: Eavesdropping on two men at intersection of Silver Way & Herring Rd
Quest Giver: Eavesdropping on two men
Requirement: Having completed “A Gilded Cage” and bought the “Saints and Sinners” DLC Expansion (not part of the main game)
Reward: 15 Currency, 2 Wardrobe Items
Case Info: People are talking about a priest who was found dead with his hand severed. The only item of note that the police were able to find was a saw lying next to the body. Despite an ongoing investigation, people are worried that the culprit will escape unpunished.

Starting Location: Saints and Sinners
Saints and Sinners Case starts in the Borough of Miner’s End at intersection of Silver Way & Herring Rd by eavesdropping on two men.
This case is only available after purchasing the “Saints and Sinners” DLC Expansion (not part of the main game by default, must be purchased separately).
The correct terms to filter out are: Cold Case, Severed Hand & Bloodied Saw
Police Station
Time to consult the Police Archives on this recent crime.
The evidence suggests the involvement of the Righteous Gang.
Finding the Righteous Gang
Time to dress up for the occasion – the Criminal Chic outfit is ideal to get the appropriate information.
Travel back to Miner’s End, Pin the report to your screen and roam the streets until you find a tough guy willing to share the desired intel.
Seems like they have a Lair where they help the poor.
The Vagabond Rags are a good fit to get inside; you can also add some scars for good measure.
The Lair is located in a backyard off Carpenter Street. Head up the stairs and through the door.
Righteous Lair
Once inside, Jon will issue a challenge to help the man with breathing problems. Check his chest, hand & fingernails.
Walk along the wooden path and into the doorway to your right. Inside will be a table with three different medicines. The Ether is located on the left side.
Now, head back to the man to save him.
In the room next to him, you can interact with some clothes as well as a piece of paper on the table, which are the Laws of the Gang.
In the room where you got the medicine, you can interact with the table in the corner (book, blood & tools).
At the end of the walkway, you can eavesdrop on two gang members. The terms are: Punish murderers, Need new recruits & Replace transgressors.
To their right, you can talk to one of the thugs guarding a door. Tell him that you want to join the Gang (what you’ve just learned by eavesdropping).
He issues us a challenge that we need to shoot all the bottles in order to speak to the boss.
He will tell us that the members involved in the murder will have to fight for their lives in their arena. We could save them from certain death and send them to prison instead if Sherlock decides to enter the arena himself.
The choice doesn’t matter for the outcome of the case or the reward. Taking his offer only drops us in the Lair and we have to fight off the goons.
No matter if you fought or didn’t, exiting the Lair concludes this case.
