Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Where the Twins Confer Walkthrough

Where the Twins Confer is the seventh Story Mission of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Lara & Jonah finally reach the village of Kuwaq Yaku.

Requirement: Having finished Brave Adventurer

After waking up from her Flashback-dream, Lara & Jonah take their final steps before finally reaching the village nearby.

Find Kuwaq Yaku

Use your instinct to show the marker. The path should be mostly clear, but you actually could take wrong turns and end up close to the aircraft-crash-site.

After a short while and sliding down a muddy slope, we will spot some Trinity soldiers along the way, who are currently stuck with their tank.

Get past the Trinity Patrol

A new kill mechanic will be introduced to you. Lara covered herself in mud and is leaning against a muddy wall to blend in. When the enemy approaches, take him out silently . (Doing one of these kills later on in the story by covering yourself in mud will give you a trophy.)

When the muddy wall ends, go into the small way to the left. You can climb up there and make another silent takedown on an enemy who is standing above you.

After that, we can crawl under the tank together with Jonah and an automatic kill-scene will play. Two more soldiers will come after that – wait for one to come close and take him out then go to the right side of the area where Jonah was headed. Climbing up the white wall will initiate the next automatic kill-scene.

Burn the Barrier

Going into the dark tunnel will be our next objective. After making a bigger jump, we are forced to craft and use burning arrows for the first time. After selecting the bow , press to craft one.

Just past the barrier lies the village we have been looking for the entire time.

A friendly woman by the name of Abby invites us for a drink and wants to know why we ended up here. After viewing a photo of one of the clues, she recognizes the symbol from a nearby ruin.

Time for the never-resting Croft to take a look at this.

Find the Ruins

The ruins are located on the other side of the village. You can engage with many strangers in optional conversations , learning secrets about the surroundings and earning a trophy for doing so five times.
Also, there will be a merchant close to the ruins, if you want to buy or sell some items.

When Lara comes close to the ruins, she calls Jonah over the radio and he will join in a cutscene, where Lara destroys some of the interior to read some hidden message.

Doing so also revealed a passage, which she now takes.

This concludes the “Where the Twins Confer” main mission and starts “Path of the Living”.
