Shadow of the Tomb Raider has 16 Challenges but only 15 are needed for 100% Completion (Completionist trophy and achievement). Each region has different requirements and new unique tasks to complete. The tricky part is that the game does not tell you what to do and unlike Collectibles, the Challenges do not get marked on the map. To make this easier, buy the skill “Owl’s Wisdom: Reveal Challenge objects while using Survival Instincts”.
It’s highly recommended you do the challenges on easy difficulty. That’s because on easy the Survival Instinct can be used to highlight them if you have the Owl’s Wisdom skill unlocked. Climbing paths are also marked clearly on easy. On hard there is no survival instinct and no markings so it would be harder to do.
After the story you can go back everywhere in free-roam, except to Croft Manor. The challenge “Bullseye” in Croft Manor (young Lara in garden) is missable, but it is not needed for 100% completion or the trophies / achievements. It only gives some extra XP and doesn’t count towards any map.
Location: Cozumel

Objective: 5/5 death whistles knocked down
Location: Peruvian Jungle
Ruffled Feathers
Objective: 4/4 oropendola nests hit
Flower Picker
Objective: 5/5 plants collected

In the dream sequence when young Lara is the garden of Croft Manor, pick up the ball and throw it at the 4 targets. They are all in the garden in plain sight (one is hanging from a tree left of the other 3 targets). You can’t get back to Croft Manor if you missed this, but luckily it’s not needed for 100% game completion or any of the trophies / achievements, so this challenge can safely be ignored.

Does anyone have an idea on how I can defeat that gunship in the Porvenir oil field in area eleven (11)
Xcbling says
Shoot the oil barrels, you can hear at some stage that the pilot says he cannot take anymore hits. Last barrel is under the gunship. The explosion will drive it away.
Einarbb says
No problem, fire at the drums that can explode near the helicopter.
Jim McKkay says
Thanks everyone for the help. I did eventually figure it out after being shredded by machine-gun fire several times.

Can anyone tell me how I complete the ‘Changing The Weather’ ( 5 frog totems) challenge in the Hidden City when it won’t let me use Bow inside the city?
PowerPyx says
Aim at the point where the frog hangs to tear it down. It only lets you shoot arrows when you aim at the correct place, see the video guide.

Says in the intro of this guide 🙂
You can’t get back there. But the challenge that’s in the garden of Croft Manor does not count towards 100% so it can safely be ignored.
