Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 contains a total of 35 Collectibles, consisting of 18 Lorestangir and 17 Secret Paths behind Hidden Faces. Finding all Lorestangir unlocks the “Tales of Midgard” achievement, finding all Hidden Faces and scanning the trees behind them unlocks “Glimpses of the Gods”.
The Lorestangir are similar to Loremarkers in the first game, they are wooden totems with red glyphs on them. To collect them zoom in on them with LT/RT (hold “E” on PC). This will trigger some dialogue. The Hidden Faces are rocks that look like stone faces, found exclusively at the edges of explorable areas. On these too you must zoom in, then the face disappears and reveals a hidden path behind it that leads to a golden tree. Scan that tree for it to count.
All of them are semi-missable because once you leave an area you can’t backtrack. However, there is Chapter Select and anything you missed can be collected through there. After finding 1 Lorestangir and 1 Hidden Face it will also show a counter for them in Chapter Select, after clicking on the Chapter. Additionally, the collectibles themselves show a tracker on them when you scan them. The Lorestangir Totems have a rune that turns from gray to red. Red means you collected it and gray means you didn’t. These are added in the fixed order in which they appear in the game, so you can simply count them and compare against the numbering below to find your missing one. The same applies to the little trees behind hidden faces, they will show yellow dots that correspond to their specific in-game order. So if you have a gray rune/dot between two collectibles you know you missed one in that section.
If you missed a collectible it still counts for the achievement if you get it via Chapter Select. The reward for finding everything is the two achievements and you unlock some new lore in the “Extras” menu.

Chapter 1 (1 Lorestangir, 0 Faces)
Lorestangir #1 – Sub-Chapter: Landfall
During the Prologue, along the main path in plain sight. This is practically unmissable. After you climb up a wall from the beach, follow the path until you reach a big totem on the main path. The voices will say “There’s a symbol. What does it mean?”. Look at it by holding LT/RT (hold “E” on PC) to zoom in. There’s a glyph on the totem that will turn red when you zoom in to focus on it, then a voice will speak from the totem and it gets a red checkmark on it to count as completed.
Chapter 2 (4 Lorestangir, 2 Faces)
Lorestangir #2 – Sub-Chapter: Freyslaug Sighted
At the very start of Chapter 2, as soon as you start walking with the Slaver turn right to enter a fenced area with two straw huts. Behind the huts is the Lorestangir totem, in the back left corner.
Lorestangir #3 – Sub-Chapter: Return Home
After going through the village and obtaining the mirror weapon, you will fight some demonic enemies in the burning village. Afterward follow the path until it’s night again and you go through a wooden barn with a dead man hanging from a rope (unmissable story path). After exiting the barn, turn left to enter a round area with wooden stakes around it. Go left again to crouch under some rubble, behind this you find the Lorestangir totem on the right.
Face #1 – Sub-Chapter: Return Home
From the previous Lorestangir backtrack to where you exited the barn. DON’T go over the long suspended bridge yet! Instead, you must go left where you see a torch burning at the end of the path. To the right of the torch is the first stone face. You must zoom in on it with LT/RT (hold “E” on PC). It’s at the outside corner of a house. This will open the wall, walk inside and look at the little glowing tree.
Lorestangir #4 – Sub-Chapter: Draugar Ceremony
Shortly after the last location you will come to a dark mountain area with moving roots on the path. Continue up the mountain until you get a cutscene where a man talks and many hands grab Senua’s head from behind. After this the main path makes you shimmy across a ledge on the side of the mountain. Then you drop down another ledge. After this turn LEFT and climb up the wooden ladder, at the top you can climb over the little wall, follow the path to find the Lorestangir at the end. This is easy to miss, if you enter the tunnel with the hanging bones before climbing the ladder you can’t go back. Senua will be walking while crouching in the mountain area, that’s how you know you are near this collectible.
Face #2 – Sub-Chapter: Meeting the Stranger
After going through the dark mountain, you will fight a bunch of masked enemies (including one spitting flames at you), then you will rescue a man from the stakes. Afterward it will be day again and you’ll walk with the man you rescued. After jumping down a ledge go forward until you reach a broken bridge. Here turn left and zoom in on the rock face in the corner, it will open a secret passage behind it, zoom in on the tree there.
Lorestangir #5 – Sub-Chapter: Meeting the Stranger
Very close to the previous location, keep following the man a little further downhill past the broken bridge. When he says “We can offer you refuge for a time, but not safety”, you are supposed to follow him downhill to the river. Instead of going with him, take a left turn to explore an optional area where you find this Lorestangir slightly downhill. Before reaching the destroyed village.
Chapter 3 (6 Lorestangir, 5 Faces)
Lorestangir #6 – Sub-Chapter: Red Hills
The third chapter begins when you start walking with the two men (guy who you rescued and the slaver you left outside village). At the very start of the chapter, as soon as you walk downhill into the destroyed village, turn left and explore the corner behind the broken house where there are cracks in the ground. You will find the totem there.
Face #3 – Sub-Chapter: Red Hills
From the previous Lorestangir turn around to find this stone face at the edge of the area. Like before you must zoom in on it to reveal a hidden tree. Don’t forget to zoom in on the tree.
Face #4 – Sub-Chapter: Red Hills
In the same area as the last two collectibles. Backtrack to where you came down the hill with the two guys at the start of the chapter. This time explore the right side of the village, there’s a small round area in the corner behind the houses. When you are in the round area look to the left for a stone face. Again scan the tree behind it.
Lorestangir #7 – Sub-Chapter: On the Hill
After going through the foggy forest, it will be day again and after a cutscene you’ll be on top of a hill. Before going downhill, circle around the hilltop and go up to the highest point. There between some huts you’ll find the Lorestangir totem.
Face #5 – Sub-Chapter: On the Hill
After going downhill and climbing all the way down, follow the linear story path forward. At the end of the path straight ahead is this stone face. After a puddle of water along the path, before taking a right turn.
Face #6 – Sub-Chapter: On the Hill
After putting two balls on a pedestal the path forward will open. Go ahead and look along the right side of this path to find the stone face. Scan the tree behind it again.
Lorestangir #8 – Sub-Chapter: On the Hill
From the previous location, follow the path all the way up and then turn left to find this in an optional area. (Before crouching through tunnel on the right).
Face #7 – Sub-Chapter: On the Hill
After a puzzle where you must put 3 balls on a pedestal, advance to the next area by dropping down two ledges. Then turn right and climb up another two ledges to find this face on top. You know you’re in the correct area when you reach three puddles of water on the main path.
Lorestangir #9 – Sub-Chapter: On the Hill
From the previous location drop back down and go past 2 puddles of water, then turn left and squeeze through a gap. You’ll find it on the path behind that.
Lorestangir #10 – Sub-Chapter: On the Hill
In the same area as the previous Lorestangir. From that last location drop back down and go past the 3 puddles of water again. Then crouch through the small cave on the right side, follow that path to the end to find this totem. (Don’t drop down the ledge on the main path going straight into a cave as you can’t go back from there).
Lorestangir #11 – Sub-Chapter: Find the Hiddenfolk
During the next puzzle where you must put 3 balls on a pedestal. Where you pick up the 3rd ball turn around to find this hanging from the ceiling.
Chapter 4 (3 Lorestangir, 4 Faces)
Face #8 – Sub-Chapter Enter the Caves
At the very start of the chapter when you enter the cave. Drop down the first ledge in front of you, then move forward just a little bit until you crouch through a cave with low ceiling. Look left to see this face.
Lorestangir #12 – Sub-Chapter: Enter the Caves
From the previous face, go further into the cave and drop down the next 3 ledges which lands you in a small puddle of water. Immediately after dropping down the third ledge turn right to climb up another ledge which leads to the Lorestangir.
Face #9 – Sub-Chapter: Enter the Caves
Shortly after the previous location you will light a turquoise colored fire. From there continue further into the cave until you drop down the next ledge. Then immediately turn right and follow that path to find another turquoise fire. Interact with it to extinguish it, then turn around to see the stone face behind where the fire was (it’s only visible after extinguishing the fire).
Face #10 – Sub-Chapter: Enter the Caves
From the previous collectible keep advancing into the cave until you drop down into a flooded area. Immediately after arriving there, turn around to find this face at the end of the path in the flooded section (opposite the story path).
Lorestangir #13 – Sub-Chapter: Enter the Caves
Shortly after the previous collectible you will have to interact with two turquoise fires to advance on the story path (unmissable). After using the second fire to make a bridge, cross over the bridge and you’ll get to a path leading further down the cave. Here keep interacting with the right side until you find a hidden ledge you can drop down that leads to the Lore Totem. You will also see the Totem from the main path if looking to the right.
Face #11 – Sub-Chapter: Act of Sacrifice
Much later into the chapter (about 30 minutes later), after solving puzzles outside and going through another dark cave where you are being hunted by a ghoulish monster. When you escape the monster you will shimmy over some ledges (mandatory story path). Then you squeeze through a gap and enter a lit cave with daylight coming from above and flying rocks on the sides. Here look to the left to find this face.
Lorestangir #14 – Sub-Chapter: Act of Sacrifice
From the previous Face, continue until you drop down the next ledge. Then go straight and take the RIGHT path. (Don’t take the left path yet).
Chapter 5 (4 Lorestangir, 6 Faces)
Face #12 – Sub-Chapter: To the Sea
Found shortly after the start of the chapter. After walking for 1 minute you will lose the two guys who are walking with you. Continue until you reach a downhill slope, the face will be on the right. When the voices say “We know it. You can feel it. We can feel it”.
Lorestangir #15 – Sub-Chapter: To the Sea
From the previous location go up the slope then turn right to enter a cave with a waterfall. Turn right again and follow the stream of water to find the Lore Totem.
Face #13 – Sub-Chapter: Sjávarrisi
After the next cutscene, when you walk together with the woman (Astrior), go with her until reaching a gap you are supposed to squeeze through. BEFORE squeezing through the gap the face is on the right.
Lorestangir #16 – Sub-Chapter: Sjávarrisi
Walk further with the woman until you climb a wall, then drop down, squeeze through a gap. After squeezing through you must climb across 3 more ledges, then turn right and crouch through an opening in the rocks to find it. This is in the open area before climbing another wall with the woman.
Face #14 – Sub-Chapter: Sjávarrisi
After a puzzle where you must look at 3 glyphs to open a locked path, go through the now-open path and this will be on the right. (Just before reuniting with the woman, if you reach her turn around to find it)
Lorestangir #17 – Sub-Chapter: Another Question
You will come to a beach with a puzzle where you must find 3 glyphs again. Take the path on the right, after looking at the first glyph you will drop to an area with a shipwreck and turquoise colored dust in the corner. Go through the turquoise colored dust, behind it you can squeeze through a gap that leads to the totem at the shoreline. This is just before the second glyph on the right path.
Face #15 – Sub-Chapter: Another Question
From the previous Lorestangir turn around, on your way out of the area the face will be in the cave on the left. Same way you came, before squeezing through the gap again.
Face #16 – Sub-Chapter: Another Question
After the underwater section you will be in a village with a raging thunderstorm going on. After passing the third hut on the right, turn RIGHT to find the face in the backyard behind the hut.
Lorestangir #18 – Sub-Chapter: Another Question
From the previous location, backtrack a few steps to the main path, just behind the third hut on the right. Now pass the next hut on the left, then take the path on the LEFT. This goes slightly uphill then you’ll already see the totem on the left.
Face #17 – Sub-Chapter: Another Question
From the last Lorestangir, turn around 180° then follow the path to your left all the way to the end behind a hut with a lit torch. To the left of the torch is the last stone face.
Congrats, you’ve found all of the collectibles in Hellblade 2! Chapter 6 does not contain any collectibles. The next time you return to the Main Menu you will unlock your rewards, two new selections in the Extras Menus.
