Scarf All Collectible Locations

SCARF contains 31 Collectibles (9 Drawings, 13 Toys, 9 Inks) and 5 Miscellaneous Trophies. This guide shows the locations of all collectibles and what to do to unlock the miscellaneous trophies. All collectibles and miscellaneous trophies are missable because the game has no chapter select. Additionally, the game has two endings which are mutually exclusive. The True Ending is unlocked by collecting all Inks in the game whereas the Bad Ending is unlocked by finishing the game with less than 6 Inks. As a result, you’ll have to make a backup save at a specific point in the game to be able to unlock the other ending. The moment to make the backup save has been included in this guide. When you’ve finished the game, simply restore the backup save and ignore all collectibles to be able to get the second ending and the Platinum trophy.

Ocean

1. Drawing 1: right at the start of the level, turn around and head right behind the wall. Continue on until you see this on the wall on your left.
   
2. Ink 1: after acquiring the Wings (double-jump ability), continue straight on to the archway in the distance.
   
3. Toy 1: after wading through the ocean the first time, keep going straight ahead past the blue turtle. Flank the left cliff, jump up the ledge and immediately continue around through the trees to find this Toy.
   
4. Toy 2: as you wade through the ocean a second time, keep going until you eventually see a stone archway in the middle. Don’t go through it yet and look to your left to find some weeds. Go through the weeds, leave the white orb for a moment and grab this from the golden circle.
   
5. Toy 3: now go through the archway and keep the right side. Immediately on your right is a red coral. Go past and around it through the weeds and you’ll find this toy on another golden circle amidst blue corals.
   
6. Drawing 2: after unlocking the swinging ability (unmissable, story-related unlock), retrace your steps and you should see a grapple point on your left giving you access to a rock. Climb up the ledges to find this Drawing.
   
7. Ink 2: after obtaining the swinging ability, continue forward and you’ll be back in the area with the blue turtle. If you notice, there are three platforms above the water you originally emerged from. Climb these up and you’ll land in a cave with this Ink.
   
8. Drawing 3: now continue on the story path, use the grapple points to get to the bridge and cross it. Immediately after crossing it, head right to find this Drawing on a rock wall.
   
9. Ink 3: now go opposite the location of the Drawing to find a set of moving platforms. When you see the two moving platforms, check the right side for a ledge leading to a hole in the wall. Go through the hole to find this Ink.
   

Desert

1. Toy 1: as soon as the level starts, go downhill flanking the left side. You’ll soon see two palm trees in the distance. Make your way to them and you’ll find a stone circle with the Toy.
   
2. Drawing 1: after reaching the temple and watching the cutscene, go forward and flank the right side of the hill near the mountain side. When you see a waterfall of sand, check behind it.
   
3. Toy 2: after restoring the bridges in the same big area as Drawing 1, walk along the bridge past the pool of water. Head towards the gate, but drop down to the right side. Then, immediately turn left to find this Toy in a corner.
   
4. Toy 3: now make your way back to the same bridge, but this time go through the gate. Place the crystal to open a second gate and then head uphill to reach a small ledge with some cacti on your left where you can find this Toy.
   
5. Ink 1: after surviving the sandstorm, you’ll enter a new area with a broken stone archway. Immediately as you enter it, head right up the hill and over the ledge. Keep going straight on, grappling and jumping across the platforms to eventually find it in a field of flowers.
   
6. Bonding: this trophy should immediately unlock after grabbing Ink 3. If it doesn’t, make sure you interact with the scarf as soon as it becomes possible.
7. Drawing 2: after leaving the crystal tunnels, you’ll reach what resembles a palm oasis. Immediately after leaving the crystal tunnels, flank the left side and keep going straight ahead to find this Drawing inside an open building.
   
   
8. Ink 2: after moving the block to release the updraft, use the updraft to reach the nearby platform to get a scarf piece. Then, grapple across the water and go left. You should now be under the red silhouette of the bridge. Go past and up the hill on the right. When you reach the slightly tilted pillar structure, continue on and drop down to the ledges below after the broken archway. Continue on to eventually find this Ink.
   
9. Toy 4: now go back to the broken archway from before and face it. Go right past it and flank the cliff side on your right. Glide towards the building and grab the crystal from the top floor. Make your way down the stairs and place it on the circle to reveal some platforms. Use the platforms to make it to the topmost island where you can find this Toy.
   
10. Toy 5: after feeding the scarf a small orb of light, make your way up the hill towards the sand waterfalls. You’ll find this in a small patch of grass amidst some blue flowers.
    

IMPORTANT – MAKE BACKUP SAVE FOR 2ND ENDING: the next collectible we’ll be going for is Ink 3. Before grabbing it, quit the game and back up your save (PS5 Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Saved Data (PS5) > Console Storage > Upload to Cloud Storage, also confirm to disable automatic Cloud Sync when it asks you to, so it doesn’t overwrite your Cloud Backup) after restoring the scarf. You’ll need to copy back this save after finishing the first playthrough to get the 2nd ending without replaying the full game.

10. Ink 3: after restoring the scarf, grapple across the gap and pull the lever to flood part of the area. Now keep going past the lever to find this Ink.
    
11. Drawing 3: after grabbing the Ink, retrace your steps and make your way back where you’ve restored the scarf. Now go to the other side of the area (not the one with the grapple point) and pull the lever. This will flood the pool even more and allow you to step on some lily pads. After touching the ground again, go left past the two columns to find this on one of the walls.
    

Forest

1. Ink 1: you’ll soon reach a clay wall with some drawings on it. For this collectible, you’re supposed to grab the white orb but it’s currently being guarded by pigeons. Continue on and, after playing hide and seek with the scarf, grab the mask from the corner. Use it to scar the birds off, grab the orb and make your way towards the water. Pull the lever to open up a gate behind which is the Ink.
   
2. Drawing 1: after gliding across a pool of water, climb up the stairs and go left. Climb another flight of stairs and then go left to be back outside. Once outside, go immediately right past the golden block to find it on a wall.
   
3. Toy 1: after the cutscene by the tree, you should notice two golden blocks down the hill near the gate. Facing the gate, go past the one on the left and climb the ledges to find this behind a column.
   
4. Toy 2: after the next cutscene, keep going until you can make it across the pond with the waterfall. After reaching the bank, go left and you’ll find it inside some open ruins.
   
5. Ink 2: near the previous Toy collectible, move the pot from the switch found in the ruins diagonally opposite the ones where you’ve found Toy 2. Now pull the lever atop the nearby hill. These will respectively dispel the barrier that was blocking the path to the Ink and raise the platforms we need to move on.
   
6. Toy 3: leave the room and take a left to jump on two platforms that lead you to some flights of stairs. When you reach the top, you’ll find this Toy on a bench diagonally opposite a wooden toy seesaw.
   
7. Like a Child: interact with the wooden toy seesaw.
   
8. Friendship: after releasing the scarf, interact with it a few times until the trophy unlocks.
9. Drawing 2: after feeding the scarf enough orbs of light, make your way back to the bridge, but don’t cross it. Instead, drop down to its left side to find this on one of the bridge walls.
   
10. Toy 4: remember where you picked Drawing 1? Go up the stairs that are diagonally opposite the golden block and glide-grapple across the gap to eventually be able to go back outside. As soon as you are, go left and across the ledges to find this Toy.
    
11. Bowling: after a while you’ll come across three apples and a statue. Behind them is a bowling lane. Simply interact with the bowling ball to unlock this trophy.
    
12. Drawing 3: after crossing the water, keep the right side and go past the scarf piece. Keep flanking the right side past the statue and into the forest. Keep going until you can enter a room with the drawing on the wall.
    
13. Goal!: leave the area with the drawing and go back where you came from. In the middle of the area is a giant stone arch opposite which is an alcove with a ball inside. Push the ball along the ground and into the goal at the end to unlock this trophy.
    
14. Ink 3: now return to the lake shore you reached after unlocking Bowling and grab the white orb sitting on one of the side ledges here. Now go underwater, flanking the right side of the rocks where you can enter a tunnel and place the orb. Now jump up the ledge behind the white orb to find this Ink collectible.
    
15. Toy 5: grab the white orb again and continue past the brown gate, keeping the left side. You’ll find this toy below a branch.
    

Now reload your backup save and replay through half of the game while ignoring all collectibles. You can download the backup save via PS5 Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > download from PS+ Cloud. Once you reach the end of the game, you will unlock the trophy for seeing the Bad ending and for unlocking both endings. Congratulations on your new shiny Platinum trophy!
