The Peter Principle is a Main Mission in Saints Row (2022 Reboot). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Peter Principle story mission.

Mission Info: I’ve appointed you Head of Security for the Museum Gala. Don’t let me down!

Go to the Museum
Marshall is working security for the Museum, where they’re showing off the codex you rescued the last time you worked for them. Head to the marked spot on the northwest side of the city.

Join the Gala
You’ll be inside the museum with the rest of the Marshall staff. After automatically talking to a guard in the security both, follow the objective marker out into the gala area.
Talk to Atticus
Walk down off the stage and over to Atticus who is at one of the tables.
Grab a drink
After speaking with Atticus, walk across the room to the marked table and interact with it to pick up a drink.
Defeat Los Panteros
A truck breaks through the wall, and a number of Los Panteros start streaming into the building. Take them out as they appear.
Find the Codex
After defeating the first groups, you’ll need to progress through the museum to find the codex. Follow the marked path out of the room, past the next group of Los Panteros.
Defeat the Idols
Once you reach a large open room, Idols appear and start attacking you as well. You need to defeat all Idols in this room before you can progress through a door on the upper floor. To get through this area most easily you should try and get to the stairs at the back as quickly as possible. There’s enemies on top who shoot down at you if you’re in the middle of the lower room, so getting to the stairs stops them doing that, and also prevents the enemies riding around on bikes from running into you.
On the upper floor you do also have to watch out for a couple more sets of enemies on bikes that will drive the entire way around the area, so you may need to wait for them to come around again after a bit if you miss them.
Find the Codex
After the Idols are dealt with, you can proceed through the door on the east side of the upper floor.
Keep following the objective through another room with Idols to deal with, then you’ll find a final set attacking the Codex container.
Activate the Codex case
Once the Idols are dead, you can interact with the front of the Codex case.
Escort the Codex
Once the case is enabled, it starts moving automatically as long as you are within the circle that appears on the floor around it. When you are inside the circle is green, when you are outside the circle is red, easy to figure out. Stay inside the circle while dealing with the Idols in the next large room.
Return to the Codex
You are dropped down to a lower level, and need to make your way back to the Codex. To start, head through the marked door, then in the next room you need to walk up the stairs towards the “Museum of Santo Ileso” sign before the objective progresses.
Search the room
You need to find a way to get through the locked door. First, go back near the door you entered from where there is an unused RPG shell on the ground that you can pick up beside some Los Panteros corpses.
Use the cannon
After picking up the shell, go to the cannon in the middle of the room, and interact with it to place the shell inside, blowing up the wall.
Return to the Codex
Keep following the objective through the next few rooms, dealing with the enemies in your way. There are now both Los Panteros and Idols fighting each other, but nothing new or out of the ordinary to worry about otherwise. The path through the area is basically linear and leads up through the different floors of this room.
Pick up the minigun
After getting through the third floor of the room, you’ll run into a group of Idols in a smaller room. Deal with them, then grab the minigun off the floor.
Destroy the door
Use the minigun to destroy the marked door.
Defeat Los Panteros
In the room ahead you’ll need to take out all the Los Panteros that appear. They come from the doors on the outside of the room, so you can just keep watching those and get most of them just as they’re appearing.
After all the enemies are defeated, you’ll have a cutscene and the mission will be complete.
