Saints Row (2022 Reboot) has 41 Side Hustle Locations. Finding and completing all Side Hustles unlocks the Always Be Hustling trophy and achievement. They are also needed for 100% district completion to unlock the All Mine trophy and achievement. They become available automatically over the course of the main story.
None of the Side Hustles are missable. You can still do all of them after the story in free roam. After unlocking the first few through story progression, complete the Side Hustles you have available to unlock the remaining ones. They are marked by blue icons on the map. You can also filter the map specifically by “Side Hustles” to filter out all other icons.
When scrolling over a district on the world map it shows how many Side Hustles you have done and how many are remaining. They are basically the “Side Quests” in this game. However, they are the same task repeated several times around the map, and not unique side quests with their own unique objectives or storyline. It’s just a few types of events that always require you to do the same thing. You don’t need to do their optional objectives for anything (neither for the Always Be Hustling trophy nor for district completion). The optional objectives only give some bonus XP and money but it’s fine to leave those incomplete.
There are the following types of Side Hustles:
@Tcha – give a low star rating to a business and enemies will spawn to beat you up, defeat all of them. Giving a 4-star rating is sufficient to count it as completed.
Pony Express – race a vehicle to a destination, after arriving defeat the enemies that followed you.
Choplifting – fly a helicopter and attach the magnet (R1 / RB) to a vehicle or payload and carry it to the destination.
Wingsuit Saboteur – wingsuit to rooftops and place C4 charges on antennas to blow them up, use the weather station towers to fly to the next rooftop and repeat
Riding Shotgun – be in the passenger seat of a moving car and destroy all vehicles that follow you
All Side Hustles are replayable as often as you like, even after completing them. When doing the @TCHA Side Hustles (giving 1-5 star ratings to businesses) it’s best to always give 1 star as it gives extra unlocks like the Pinata Stick, but they are all replayable even if their map icons go away. Simply go back to the locations as shown below and interact with the sign again to replay those.
This guide shows them district by district with the necessary unlock requirements. The most time-efficient method is to do them after the story. You unlock the VTOL plane at your HQ after finishing the story, with it you can quickly fly across the map to the Side Hustle starting points. This is faster than driving everywhere. You can already do what you come across during the story and then finish up the rest after the story.

South Lakeshore says for my 1/2 side hustles but there is only one. What now??
There’s only one there. One of the other Side Hustles counts towards Lakeshore but not sure which. I did all 41 and my map shows 2/2 for Lakeshore South, so just do them all and it should complete. They probably changed district borders during the game’s development, this is an issue with other items counting towards wrong districts too.
i did the west flats choplift but the others didn’t unlock did i do something wrong or is this a bug?
For the south lake shore 1/2 hustles, it spawn into East flats(courier side hustle) but count as south lake!
do you have to complete the challenges for the side hustles?
No. Optional Objectives aren’t needed for anything. Neither for district completion nor for “Always Be Hustling” trophy. They only give a little extra XP and money.

Ive done the whole campain and still dont have any of the side hustles besides @THCA, what am i doing wrong?
It’s a multistep process to spawn the 2/2 side hustle pony express side hustle in Lakeshore South.
First, you must do the Pony Express in located in Badlands South with Emilio. That unlocks the second Emilio Pony Express located in the east part of Badlands North. Afterwards, it finally unlocks the third Emilio Pony Express inside the boundary of East Flats (but on the map it’s north of the river clearly in the Lakeshort South neighborhood).
That 3rd mission in the Emilio Pony Express storyline even says “Meet him by Stillwater Canal in Lakeshore,” not East Flats!
