Resident Evil 8 Village Music Box Cylinders Puzzle Solution

The Music Box Cylinder Puzzle in Resident Evil 8 Village takes place at House Beneviento. This guide will show you the solution for the Music Box Cylinder Puzzle.

This is a mandatory story puzzle that cannot be missed. It takes place in the Doll House section. You will come to a Winding Music Box with a bridge and groom on it. There are 5 cylinders which you must put in the right order. The cylinders have scratches on them that form a pattern.

Solution

First you need to pull out the left leg of the doll in the doll room, it contains the Winding Key. Then use the Winding Key on the Music Box.

Now you must place the Cylinders in the right order. Simply replicate the pattern shown in the image here. See the scratches on each cylinder.

Quickest solution (if you haven’t changed any Cylinders yet):

• Cylinder 2 to Slot 1
• Cylinder 4 to Slot 2
• Cylinder 3 to Slot 5
• Cylinder 4 to Slot 3

The numbering is in the order from left to right (1 is furthest left, 5 is furthest right).

After putting the Cylinders in position you must still use the Winding Key to make the music play. Then it gives you the Tweezers which you must use on the Doll’s Mouth to get a Film from it, which you then place in the Study.
