Resident Evil 8 Village How to Unlock Mercenaries Mode

Mercenaries is an unlockable game mode in Resident Evil 8 Village (RE8). This guide explains how to unlock Mercenaries in Resident Evil Village.

1. First you must beat the story on any difficulty (playing on Casual/Easy is fine).
2. After the story you unlock the Extra Content Shop. Go to Main Menu > Bonuses > Extra Content Shop > Extra Game: The Mercenaries. Buy the mode from here, it only costs some in-game currency called CP that you get from completing in-game challenges. It doesn’t cost real money.
3. To start Mercenaries: Go to Main Menu > Bonuses > The Mercenaries.

Initially, you will only have the first stage available, which is called The Village. To unlock the next stage you must get an A-Rank. The rank is determined by your end score. Getting an A-Rank always unlocks the next Stage for the first 4 Stages. Then for the last 4 Stages you only need a B-Rank to unlock the next map. There are 8 Stages in total.
