Resident Evil 8 Village Bell Puzzle Solution

The Bell Puzzle in Resident Evil 8 Village takes place at Castle Dimitrescu, Atelier behind the Library. This guide will show you the solution for the Bells Puzzle.

This is a mandatory story puzzle. When you come to the Atelier it looks like you hit a dead end as there’s no obvious way forward. The trick is to shoot 5 hidden bells around the painting room (art room). This will open up the big portrait of Lady Dimitrescu on the wall, which reveals a secret passage.

Solution

Shoot all 5 Bells in the Atelier of Castle Dimitrescu to solve the Puzzle. The bells you’ve already hit will have a flame over them.

Bell Locations:

1. In front of you when entering the room.
   
2. To the right of where you entered the room, on a shelf.
   
3. There’s a bell on the spinning machine inside the wall. It’s easiest to hit when you go up the stairs on the left and then aim through the left opening in the wall until the Bell swings in this position.
   
4. One bell is located outside and can be shot through the window in the ceiling.
   
5. The last bell is on top of the chandelier, shoot the chandelier to make it swing so you can see the bell on it.
   

After shooting all of these you should hear a bell chime and the big wall portrait will open up to reveal a path. Follow the path up the ladder and to the roofs. On the roofs you must then use a rope to reach one of the four masks that you need to escape Castle Dimitrescu.
