Resident Evil 7 How to Get Shotgun

The Shotgun is a powerful weapon in Resident Evil 7. You find its location in the main hall of the the building where you meet family Baker.

How to get Shotgun:

Step 1: Get Scorpion Key. It is found in the cellar where the slime monsters are at. The key is sticking out of a piece of meat.

Step 2: Use scorpion key on the recreation room upstairs (go up the stairs from the main hall). In there you find a broken shotgun. Pick it up.

Step 3: Go back downstairs to the main hall. Now take the shotgun from the statue and replace it with the broken shotgun. This will make the door behind you open up and you can escape.

But hold on! There is another more secret shotgun. Remember the broken one you picked up earlier? It can be repaired. Here’s how:

How to Repair Broken Shotgun:

After escaping to the yard look under the porch. There’s a removable metal part. Behind it is a box that contains a repair kit. Combine it with the broken shotgun and you’ll be able to use it!

Madhouse Difficulty:

On madhouse things are a little different. You must get the Model Shotgun from the dissection room (you go there automatically in the story and it’s in plain sight). The rest is the same as before. Put the model shotgun on the statue to get a working M37 shotgun.
