Resident Evil 4 Remake Chapter 10 contains 14 Collectible Locations. This walkthrough will guide you to all collectibles in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies, achievements and 100% completion is included: Treasures, Castellans, Merchant Requests, Recipes, Weapons, Weapon Parts, Chapter-Specific Trophies & Achievements.
All Collectibles except Treasures Progress carry over into New Game Plus. There is no Chapter Select or Free-Roam after the story, but you can get missing collectibles in New Game Plus. All Treasures must be found in a single playthrough to unlock their trophies. Some collectibles can’t be reached on the first visit, those must be collected during later chapters when you have the necessary key items.
Collectible Progress can be tracked in the Challenges Menu. Treasure Progress shows on the world map after buying the treasure map from the merchant. It’s highly recommended to collect everything at the first opportunity outlined here, areas gradually become inaccessible when advancing the story.
Chapter 10
Objective: Head for the throne room
At the start of the chapter to your right you can pick up the treasures Ashley dropped. Those already counted towards treasure completion in Chapter 9 when you found them as Ashley in the library and don’t count again now, so for collectible purposes these won’t add to your counter. Pick these up anyway to sell them for money.
Rat 3 (for Merchant Request “More Pest Control”)
At the start of the chapter enter the room to the right of the 3-headed statue, then enter the dark hallway on the right (library) to find the last rat for this request. This was not available during Chapter 9 but now that you can access the library as Leon you can get it.
Merchant Request: Merciless Knight
At the start of the chapter enter the room to the right of the 3-headed statue, the blue request letter is here on a drawer. For the request you must backtrack to the Mausoleum as Leon and defeat the knight there. Do this now before doing anything else. The path will already be open. This is a pretty tough fight. If you have flash grenades you can stun the 3 knights with those, then shoot their weakspot until their tentacles are exposed, shoot the weakspots with a powerful weapon or throw grenades.
Treasure + Weapon: CQBR Assault Rifle (Weapon)
In the south of the library, go upstairs and use the Cubic Device on the Square Lock Box. If you don’t have enough inventory space, send some weapons to storage to free up space. You must pick up this weapon for it to count towards treasures and weapons. This item turns into a Gold Bar (L) if you already picked up the weapon in a previous playthrough.
Treasure: Golden Lynx
In the typewriter save room above the library, where Chapter 9 ended. As Leon, use the Cubic Device on the Square Lock Box.
Treasure: Ruby
In the Ballroom, ground floor, shoot down the silver lamp behind the rubble in the center of the room.
Treasure: Ornate Beetle
In the Ballroom, north side. You can circle around the ground floor to reach it.
Key Item: Unicorn Horn (x2)
Dropped by the two Garradors in Antechamber (big muscular enemies with claw-hands). Can’t miss it, story-related fight.
Objective: Make your way to the surface
Treasure: Elegant Crown
In the “Depths” (Sewers), at the end of the flooded area before squeezing through a gap and climbing up a ladder.
Treasure: Red Beryl
From the last treasure, break the wall on the left, squeeze through, climb up ladder. Then you enter the waterway. On an alcove on the left hangs a silver container you can shoot down. Just before the merchant / typewriter save room.
Trophy: Astute Appraiser
Combine the “Elegant Crown” treasure with 2 x Yellow Diamond + 3 x Red Beryl and sell it to the merchant for over 100,000 ptas to pop this trophy. Alternatively, it also works with 1 Sapphire (Blue), 1 Yellow Diamond, 1 Emerald (Green), 1 Alexandrite (Purple), 1 Red Beryl which gives a 5 colors bonus and comes out to exactly 100,000. If you don’t have enough of the required gemstones just keep the crown in your inventory and do it later when you got more of these gems. Note that you can also trade Spinels at the Merchant to get one Yellow Diamond and Red Beryl.
Castellan 10
Just outside the merchant in the sewers. You can see its head behind the bars. Directly across from the merchant room. The Castellan hangs upside down, walk as close as possible to the bars and look up.
Treasure: Yellow Diamond
In the Underground Laboratory area, in the room where you must flip a switch to open a gate.
Trophy: Wave Goodbye, Right Hand
After activating the switch at the end of the Underground Laboratory, you will get chased by a big monster called “Verdugo”. You have to DEFEAT this monster to get the trophy/achievement, not just running away from it. Use the wall panels to activate the ice traps that freeze him. Once he is frozen shoot him or throw grenades at him. He takes massive damage while frozen. Repeat this until he’s defeated.
That’s 100% of the collectibles in Chapter 10 of Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE4).

I forgot to pick up the assault riffle and played all the way to Chapter 11. Is there any way to get back to that section ? I really don’t wanna do another treasure playthrough…
PowerPyx says
Only if you kept a manual save before it, otherwise no.

I’ve been following the guide and it’s very accurate and well written. Only note is that when fighting the merciless knight, using the flashbangs as a stun would be a waste. Flashbangs will one hit any Las Plagas enemy, but ONLY when the Las Plagas is actually exposed. This comment is probably wasted on such late chapter, but hopefully this save someone some trouble:
When you fight Merciless Knight, use a high power weapon to knock their helmets off (I used the CQBR, then go ahead an toss a ‘nade. Laugh as they all fizzle.

Been following this guide and just wanted to say major thank you 🙂 it’s extremely detailed and well-written. Sets my mind at ease when you pinpoint that we’ll come back for a treasure in later chapters etc. Great job on this <3
