A big chunk of the 33 trophies is from story and some simple tutorial tasks that come naturally. What stands out is that we must beat the game on hardcore difficulty, finish the story with S-Rank (the highest rating), find all Story Document Collectibles, Safes, Lockers, Locks and get All Weapons. We must also do a playthrough without using the item box or healing items. A 2-hour speedrun is also required.
Because the game can be beaten in less than 2 hours all of this shouldn’t be too time-consuming to do. You can do a Normal difficulty playthrough first and get Collectibles along the way. Then do an S-Rank Speedrun without using the item box or healing items. Lastly, do your Hardcore difficulty playthrough.

This is pretty much Re2 with a speed run. Pretty easy I will say.
Probably 3 or 4/10 to be honest.
Steffen says
Literally counting down ghe days til release! I cant wait to revisit Raccoon City… One last time…
Alex says
Realy nice Trophy List, no Trophies for Resistance is a very good decision from Capcom. I hope they don´´t add this as DLC trophies
Alex says
Thanks for the info, i think i will only play RE3 then
Paulo Cerbz says
Thank God resistance has no trophies in the same list as the main game. I can platinum this game without ps plus yay!!
Leeroy112 says
I heard the game has unlockable infinite ammo. Probably some of the harder trophies can be cheesed (except S ranks maybe)?
Deadpoolio... says
NOPE….Likely not. IF its like RE2 was then using infinite ammo will immediately disqualify you for an S ranking
RICHARD says
Yes this IS possible, on RE2 it stopped you getting an S+ NOT an S rank and S rank was needed for the trophy so it’s all good
MikkDC says
I think the only one which for sure cannot use infinite ammo is the finishing the game without opening the item box but this should be easy enough on ASSISTED difficulty.
Alex says
Do you know if resistance will have a platinum?
PowerPyx says
Don’t know yet.
Alex says
Thanks fror replying. I really really hope it does
xZauberlicht says
resistance have platinum
Mark says
Do you think they will sell all the best weapons and infinite ammo for 6.99$ like they do with resident evil 2 remake last year.
Tai says
There’s a definite possibility they will add the infinite weapons at some point as DLC since they have a history of doing so. However, once you know the route, the puzzles, and enemy behavior it’s pretty easy to finish the game even in higher difficulties.
I originally thought RE 2’s S+ rank was out of my league and was content with not having the infinite weapons. But, i was having so much fun i kept playing the game. Eventually, i started to feel like i could do it and started watching Hardcore S+ runs on YouTube. I learned to tackle all the areas in the game so well i ended up getting S+ rank in all the scenarios for fun. In hindsight, i can’t believe i was so scared to do it.

Niceeee! Shouldn’t be too difficult to get the Plat.
Great work as always, Powerpyx!
BIOADDICT90 says
Complete the game on hardcore or higher hmmm maybe a higher difficulty than hardcore prohaps hope so
ryan hoffman says
One hit kill//heaven hell mode like dmc…. where you die in one hit too. That’d be cool.
Tai says
Imagine a mode where enemies are as difficult as Hardcore but with only one save… or no save at all… That would be insane…
Let’s hope this isn’t true. lol
Suhail says
Am just disappointed that it’s going to be a very short game, RE 2 remake had a trophy for finishing the second scenario in less than 2 and a half hours, re3 will be shorter than that, add to that this game will have only one ending.
Tai says
Good chance you may be right in this being shorter than RE 2 given there are no 2nd scenarios, no mercenaries mode, and like you say only one ending.
However, the trophy suggesting to beat it in less than 2 hours makes no mention of difficulty which could mean Capcom is allowing this cause it may take longer for the average player in higher difficulties. Also, the 2 hours and 30 mins deadline in RE 2 for B scenarios is a little too generous as most people have done it under 2, so they may thought this through and gone for a more challenging time limit. Plus, there’s an argument to be made regarding the infinite weapons DLC in that if they make the challenges too easy then people may not have a reason to buy it.
Not to mention that before PowerPyx had to take down the trophy list, one suggests there may be a higher difficulty than Hardcore. To be fair since no trophy mentioned beating the game in this mysterious difficulty i guess it doesn’t count. In addition, there’s also the hidden trophies which could add more replay value but no way of knowing that right now.
Mark says
I see the trophies list before capcom ask powerpyx to remove them. There a trophy call escape the police station. So imagine if the nemesis and Mr.X are chasing you in the building. It will be incredable. But I don’t think so.
Drinor says
What’s the Hell Difficulty of RE 3?
Jordan Weeks says
If I recall correctly the events of Jill in the station with Nemesis takes place just before Leon’s arrival. On the second (maybe third?) floor showers you noticed a rather gaping hole the size of Mr. X (but this is there before he arrives) suggests a chase scene between Jill and Nemisis and the One Shot Demo update included a Nemesis easter egg where you hear him eerily say “S.T.A.R.S.” respectfully
kane says
What are the 4 hidden trophies?
Tai says
Even when PowerPyx had the list up, the hidden trophies were… hidden. So, no way of knowing until the game comes out i guess. However, if i were a betting man, they’re probably about doing a specific task, like doing something obscure or taking a different path.
