When your horse dies in Red Dead Redemption 2 you can use a Horse Reviver to bring it back to life. You should always have a few horse revivers in your inventory and this guide shows how to get them.
Horse Revivers are simply bought from Stables. Every stable sells them under “Horse Provisions”. It costs $9.50 a piece. You can have up to 99 of them. Sometimes bandits may shoot your horse or you fall down a cliff and it dies. You don’t want to be stranded in the middle of nowhere.

Stables are found in every major town of the game, for example in Valentine:
Bonus Tip: To see all stables, open the world map, press 
(PS4) / 
(XB1) and scroll down to the stables icon
